    Loaded Nachos

The perfect Dive Bar! Came here on Black Friday because the bar was hosting a local band and wanted to experience live music alongside a local bar that I had yet to see in person, together. The bartender was attentive and hospitable, without being overbearing. Didn't obsess over whether I needed another drink after every sip that I took, but was right on point when my glass became empty. Kudos! I sat at the bar with my wife. We ordered the Loaded Nachos. MAN it was HUGE. Definitely a dish to be shared by 2-3 people. Not only a great value but also the dish was great tasting. The band (Doc and the Doses) was great. Good selection by the bar owner(s). The ambiance was great as well. Tchotchkes everywhere. Absolute dive bar without being low-quality. Great layout between the bar itself, side tables, and sofas/loveseats places throughout. Also had a back-patio area and a darts section. I did see some reviews that mentioned a bad smell.... Didn't smell anything off. Last but not least, the beer on tap was top notch. Great selection from the cheap mass-produced beers, up to the less-circulated craft beers. I had beers from Southern Tier and Founders. I will be going back soon. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a local bar to call their home away from home.

This bar had a very eclectic feel. The food was decent, nothing too special. A lot of beer on tap but don't look ahead at what they have on their website because they probably don't have it. The ones we wanted weren't available but they gave us good suggestions of what to try instead. I think the main draw to this place is the atmosphere, and the darts!

    Quite eclectic.

I love craft beers and I have been wanting to try this place, so I dragged my husband here after a movie on a Saturday night. There was no band and it was pretty slow, maybe 5 to 7 groups of people. The first thing we both noticed was the bad smell, it was almost enough to stop us from staying. But after we got used to it, the rest of our visit was fine. They have a very light food menu, and were out of several items. We decided on a grilled cheese sandwich and it was delicious. I was pleased with the selection of beers on tap, and the server was very nice and welcoming. I felt like the decor was kind of thrown together. There is a fine line between eclectic and junky. If you are looking for craft beers in Concord, this is the place to go, and I'm sure that it is a great meeting spot for some, it just wasn't for me.

Great hole in the wall bar. Very eclectic. Plenty of beer. Carry out pizza from next door.

We decided on the their appetizer sampler just to get a feel for their food, and it wasn't a great feel. The wings were burnt, Maybe that's their "style" but it didn't work. They were so dry. The shrooms had too much breading and were also overcooked, thought at least not burnt. The mozzarella sticks were actually decent. The pretzels was good, but some awful beer cheese. I had two of their IPA's and I did enjoy those. Unfortunately not someplace I'd go back to unless someone assured me it was better

Indeed, if the cold North runs through you veins, you'll find house beer and mead aplenty to wet your whistle in an atmosphere that while housed in a modern shopping center, is still somehow appropos. Unfortunately, I had driving to do, so alcohol wasn't in the cards, but the menu appealed to us. We needed some comfort food, so we ended up with an appetizer sampler that included a baked pretzel, jalapeno poppers (instead of the fried ravioli that I guess they were out of), buffalo wings, and mozz sticks. We also got a pizza from the current specials, the spicy hawaiin. We like pineapple on pizza, and definitely prefer pepperoni to ham, and this also included jalapenos... so it sounded right up our alley. FYI, there are no waiters, you simply order at the bar, and they give you a numbered buzzer to pick up your food when ready. I greatly prefer this way of doing things honestly. For the food, honestly... a mixed bag, hence the one star off. The pretzel was great, probably the best of the bunch. Jalapeno poppers were nice and large, good flavor balance of cream cheese and jalapeno. Mozz sticks were mozz sticks. We didn't care for the wings. For one, they weren't tossed in the buffalo sauce, it was just poured over the top, and they also were a tad dry... maybe fried too long. The pizza was a letdown, especially since other reviews were so complimentary of it. The slices were very floppy, it maybe could have used a couple minutes more. The cheese had a nice flavor, but the sauce was not either of our preference. Could have used more pineapple, less jalapeno to balance the bites. Overall, we didn't finish it, and didn't take the leftovers for later. It could just be our personal tastes, so go and decide for yourself. Outside of food, it was trivia night, and people were having a great time. We would have taken part if we were staying longer. I think if I lived in the area, I would still come here, and just figure out what food items are the ones to get and which ones aren't. Great atmosphere, friendly bartender and people.

The restaurant was a ghost town on a Sunday evening. Maybe everyone is still eating Thanksgiving leftovers? Since there were 3 of us, we opted for an order of 3 tenders, 3 sliders, and 3 fry flavors. It was definitely enough for us to all share. The tenders were nice and crispy and the sweet chili sauce was good. I picked the Green Flag slider with bacon and pickles, very tasty. The little burger was cooked perfectly. For the fries we went with beer cheese and bacon, MW dusted, and Cajun. The Cajun were the best of the 3. The MW dust is a little on the sweet side which I didn't mind because I was dipping mine in the leftover sweet chili sauce. I was hoping to be able to pick tots as one of the 3 options but it was fries or tots, no mixing. I was also a little disappointed that the entrees options did not come with any sides. Since they were dead, the hostess was also our server. She was sweet. She answered all of our questions with ease. She didn't check back as much as I would have preferred for refills and the check but it wasn't a terrible wait. I think I was just ready to hit the road for the long ride home. They have a serious number of TVs for a sports bar so I'm sure if you are a football fan, you'll be able to watch your game, or better yet, a NASCAR race once the season starts back in February. Overall, decent bar food with plenty of TVs for sports spectators.

That had me but at 105° it was too hot. So, we got the cute fisherman's isle seats in the back. She's 5' so bar height seats are uncomfortable and akwars for her. I wasn't a fan of the layout. I think they wasted space. We tried their char-grilled Oysters, grilled crab cake, and she had several if the Oysters; Tripple D, Pink Moon and Bay Breeze being her favorite. The house Oysters were not. I tried the char and they're good. Decent profile but they're cooked so it make sense. Not New Orleans style char but good flavor. The crab cake was delicious. For the price it was huge. I was very impressed as I loved the flavor and texture. It has a lot of filler but the seasoning took me out, in a good way. Now, they provide a yummy German potato salad that I thought was really good. Its warmed up seasoned chunky potato with no flair. The coleslaw was trash though. It looks beautifully seasoned but its a vinegar based and lacks the creamy flavor depth you're used too. They do change the menu frequently. I got a chance to see a few others plates and was very impressed. There are a few other items I would love to try, Specifically the pasta! Our waitress wasn't the best but the shucker and bus boy were both great. Very friendly and energetic. Definitely not an upscale establishment as jeans and a tee are perfect. I would definitely come back!
