Once seated I ordered medium steamed oysters. Inside wasn't packed however, I will say there was a dinner crowd. In addition it was oyster Monday. With that being said the waitress never brought a water nor the complimentary house made slaw or potatoes. I asked a waiter for both and I received it promptly. My order of six came out a short time later. I doctored the fresh oysters to my liking using the horseradish and cocktail sauce provided in condiment containers. There were other assortments of condiments including various brands of hot sauce. I was pleased at the total bill, which was less than $7. Overall I'm glad to have stumbled upon this gem in Concord.

So I have been craving Charbroiled Oysters NOLA style and let me tell you Full Moon Oyster Bar definitely served. They were downright delicious along with the Stuffed Crab Mushrooms. Service was outstanding we were checked on constantly. Walked in and seated right away as it was a Saturday afternoon. The oyster bar reminded me of being on a boat in a bar setting. Fresh oysters are shucked right in front of you. All ai can say is when I go back to Charolette I will be stopping in for some more oysters.

I came here for their oyster special and it was pretty good! I expected a little more flavor but for the price it wasn't so bad! I ordered steamed medium oysters and it came with potatoes! Our drinks were okay and the seating was interesting. Mainly bar seating.

I have not been here for at least 5 years and I still remembered the great food and atmosphere. My 16 yo remembered it also and knew exactly what she wanted when we walked in- ahi tuna and rice. I ordered seafood mornay for an entree. I ate all of the complimentary potatoes and Cole slaw then I ate Karlea's Cole slaw also. Karlea's food looked great, but her appetite has increased since our last visit so she helped me with the seafood mornay after eating her tuna. The seafood mornay was full of scallops and shrimp and the Alfredo sauce was just the right consistency to absorb in the garlic toast. We both enjoyed the meal and it was just the right portion that we both were full when we finished. Great place off the beaten path near Concord Mills. Highly recommend for family or date night. 5 stars. Cheers!

I'm always skeptical when social media hypes up restaurants BUT they absolutely got this one right. I haven't had a delicious char grilled oyster since visiting Neowls in New Orleans BUT these were absolutely DELICIOUS!!! And don't let me start on the jambalaya . Full of seasoning and plenty of chicken, shrimp and sausages. The DOTD was the tropical moon and I had 2, I left walking a lil sideways . Crystal was a great server and Izzy as well. All 3 of the girls were great. The setting reminded you of being in a bar in the beach, nothing extra just simple and amazing. If you haven't tried this place yet, then run and don't walk. You will not be disappointed. You get complimentary potatoes and slaw. The slaw wasn't to my liking because I'm not a fan of mayo and it has an overwhelmingly taste of mayo but those potatoes reminded me of growing up on the country at grandmas. I ate them before I could get a pic .

My son and I came for lunch. I've been to other locations but not this one. My son has not been at all before. He really liked it. Our server explained things well. We ordered our food. One runner mixed up my sons pasta dish with someone else because he had no mushrooms and he got them. The server asked him if he wanted a redo and he said no, he could pick them out. The person who got his plate wanted the mushrooms so they had to make some to add in. Our server did coach the runner about it in a nice way so it wouldn't happen in the future. Food was tasty. Complimentary slaw, not so much. Needs seasoning. Check this place out!

I went here for the first time to try the Oysters which were very good. I debated heavily if I wanted to try something else and the Seafood Risotto caught my eye. It was delicious and packed with flavor.

This is a great local seafood spot with a cool ambiance and great prices. I love their daily specials and selection of beer as well. Plus, they have a crazy food challenge where you can win a t-shirt which is fun. Heads up, there is an upcharge to pay with card which I was surprised to see. Bring cash if you can!

We had a craving for oysters & our first thought was The Full Moon Oyster Bar. Upon entry, we were immediately seated. This was great for a Friday night! Started the dinner with the $5 Well drink special. Another pleasant surprise! The staff was warm and friendly. So helpful and patient as we decided on our meal. I had the Mooner's Basket, comprised of flounder, shrimp and oysters. The basket is served with fries and hush puppies. I was very pleased. The fish was fried to perfection and it wasn't greasy. We also had the chargrilled oysters. Yum!!! Seasoned and charred well, we were not disappointed. I encourage you to try this little gem in Concord

Seriously. Everything has pork. I got a handheld egg sandwich with tomato and cheese on a croissant with their potatoes. Basic sandwich, dry and the cheese & tomato were an extra charge. The potatoes were hard like they're old. The mimosa was good, regular sparkling with pineapple juice. And their tip machine doubles the recommended amount so for my $9 mimosa it generates a +$3 tip at 18 % but it should have been under $2. Just wanted to point that out too. I won't be back.

A must stop for both dinner and Southern breakfast enthusiasts…read more On my way home from Charlotte, I used Yelp to find me a classic diner to start my day off right. I choose the Crack of Dawn Diner in Concord. I am so glad I did. Crack of Dawn Diner is the real thing--a local Concord breakfast-and-lunch spot serving traditional Southern fare at reasonable prices. The menu caters to local tastes, the dining room is filled with regulars, and the atmosphere is comfortable rather than trendy. Parking is somewhat limited. The private lot surrounding the restaurant was fully used so I parked in the lot next door that had signs that said private property, but it looked like other patrons were parking there also so I took the chance. As it turns out, it was safe to park there. The entrance is very welcoming, as well as the staff. Amanda was my very efficient and nice waitress. There is great teamwork here, and Amanda was well supported by, I believe, the owner who ran my food out and talked a bit with me. The menu is fascinating. A distinctly North Carolina menu. Several things jumped out: * Breakfast special for $6.59 weekdays * Breakfast plates mostly under $12 * Grits included as a side option * Livermush available * City ham and country ham both offered * Pork chops available for breakfast I ordered the country-fried steak with white gravy (essentially chicken-fried steak), along with two sunny-side-up eggs, perfectly prepared grits, a large buttermilk biscuit, and a delicious diner coffee. The restaurant occupies a stand-alone building with a warm, "come on in and rest a spell" atmosphere. Inside, you'll find counter seating, an open kitchen, and tables throughout the dining room. I chose a seat by the window overlooking the parking area. This was a great breakfast, that was reasonably priced, in a great atmosphere, with very nice people. It stuck to both my mind and ribs all day long. After breakfast, I continued on to downtown Concord and spent some time exploring one of North Carolina's most charming revitalized downtown districts. The breakfast was the perfect start to the morning. Crack of Dawn Diner has earned a spot on my repeat list whenever my travels take me through the Charlotte-Concord area.

I also ordered a side of green beans, they were also straight from the can. I also received a sweet tea, which was good but also how do you mess that up? And the kicker, $18 for that... should have stayed home. I was really hopeful for this place but after trying it twice and it was just as bland, I unfortunately will not be back.

We pulled into the parking lot and Jonathan came to the car and took our order on his iPad! Now, mind you, I'm not a big meat eater or a fan of TRH, but this was the first time that I really enjoyed my food! We both ordered the Fort Worth ribeye steak dinners. I had the 12oz with fries and mushrooms, and my gf had the 14oz with a salad and baked potato! Both orders ca.e with their rolls and the honey butter! We sat there and waited for our order to be prepared! About 10 to 20 minutes later, our order was delivered to our car! The runner asked us to check the order to make sure it was correct! My family and I wanted to drop in for a quick lunch while out and about in the area. Though there was a line to get in, we did not wait long before the doors were opened. We were seated and received bread while waiting to order. Our waiter was timely and made sure drink refills were available before having to ask. Our rolls came out a bit hard and she had no issue bringing out a fresh batch. Once orders were in, we enjoyed some of their flavored lemonade options. Not too sweet and the perfect tang for me! I ordered sirloin with a side salad and loaded baked potato. The sides were both tasty. Due to my sirloin appearing mushy and tasting altogether weird, I cannot say I enjoyed the full dining experience. With two bites in, I knew I would not be enjoying this steak. The potato was filled with sour cream, butter, and cheese & topped with bacon. I really wanted a steak, so it is unfortunate that my order was not great. However, the manager did remove the item from my ticket. Every one else enjoyed their meals and had no major complaints. Not sure I'd be back anytime soon though.
