So many delicious flavors of garlic, turmeric, and ginger with a homemade tzatziki and tahini drizzle over roasted chickpeas and quinoa. This bowl truly made my heart and belly happy! The portions are plentiful too. Service was just as enjoyable. Jason took the time to ask questions in order to make best recommendations for me. Doing vegetarian today with a brother and decided to check this place out. It's on PCH inside a shopping plaza with ample amount of parking. I have driven by this plaza so many times but have never seen this shop here. The signs are really not that visible. We ordered avocado artisan toast, lentil chili, mushroom carne asada, coconut pumpkin curry and hibiscus drink. The avocado toast looked really basic but tasted so amazing. The lentil chili was good but a little too salty for my taste and the mushroom carne asada was a bit too sour for me like ceviche sour level with no seafood. We really liked the coconut curry. That was the highlight of the meal. It came with this spicy sauce but it was like 3/5 spicy level for me lol but went really well w the curry and also the asada. Overall: love the service. The cashier David was really friendly and knowledgeable and also let us try the curry before we ordered. We also met the owner Jason as well and he offered to switch anything out if we didn't like it. They have outdoor seating only which was nice for today. Since my first review, I've been here about a dozen more times so figured I'd update: It was well worth my previous hype. Goddess Bowl, Seven Layer Slayer, and Chickpea Kale Stew are my top three and all of their Artisan Toasts are hearty and satisfying (even the Avo Toast, which can be mundane most places, has a peppery balsamic glaze that makes it repeat worthy). Wow Wow Wow! The flavors are spot on, the veggies so fresh - the food was delicious. I had been a long time since my whole family gall gets a dish they love and here it happened! Happened to be around in the area since my fiancé and I had to drop by Best Buy Torrance to pick up our new TV and were pretty hungry after an afternoon of hopping around in OC! Found this spot by chance and decided hey why not, we're never in the area! It seems like it's close to the beach! So great to stop by if you're heading out there! It's a fully plant-based shop and limited outdoor seating. The shop inside has no seating area - only big enough for you to order and wait outside. There are no public restrooms in this plaza you have to go somewhere else if you need it (which is so weird! I thought most restaurants would have restrooms at least for their customers!) Coming in my fiancé already knew what to order (he was studying the menu when I was looking at wedding dresses earlier in the day in OC - his priorities were locked in LOL) We got their cauliflower shawarma and their mushroom carne asada bowls. Each are roughly $20 so our total was about $40ish after tax and tip Their cauliflower shawarma is SO GOOD. I WISHED they provided more cauliflower pieces in the bowl! We only got like 6 pieces of small and medium sized ones :( It really helped balanced out the flavor of the bowl with the tangy taste. Their mushroom carne asada bowl was so tasty, especially with their chili sauce they provide! I recommend mixing up your bowl! It can tasty salty if you just tackle it straight on, mixing it helps distribute the flavor more evenly! The portions are a good amount, I felt so full and I just couldn't finish my bowl but it was good to find a place that felt like clean and healthy eating! Really grateful that this place exists. I have always wanted a quick place for healthy takeout food. This place checks all the boxes. I really like their "poke" bowl with beets, kale, cucumbers, rice, and carrots. The sauces and dressings are delicious. I recently tried their chocolate mousse/ganache and it was incredible. This vegetarian food place is located in RB, and it shares the parking lot with few merchants in the plaza. Their menu options are very creative, with options of salads, soup, bowls etc. I particularly liked their spicy sauce, very tingling and bold taste. Love this place. I just had the best vegetable soup I've had in a long time. I just wanted something soothing and it was delicious . Service was above and beyond. Very enjoyable experience! I was surprised by how flavorful the food was and how filling the portions were. We had the Philly cheesesteak and Carne Asada bowl. They were both really good. If you are thinking Vegan food would be bland and uninspiring, you'd be very surprised. The owner is very nice and informative. You can tell he is passionate about the food and I love that he gave us flavored water to try and even a little sample of the soup he was developing for his menu. There are a few tables outside if you want to take your dog, and I saw a lot of people doing takeouts on Sat afternoon. If you are in the area, give this place a try! Glad I was finally able to check out this highly rated vegan eatery. Staff recommended the mushroom carne asada burrito bowl, which more than lived up to the hype. Portobello mushrooms had a good texture. The spices were bold but not overbearing. The spicy chipotle crema added a perfect finishing touch with the right amount of kick. The place I didn't know existed! This is clean, vegan food that is packed with plants and not weird fake meats. It reminds me of the original Native Foods from way back in the day. Lil Vegerie is a local gem and I've already recommended it to several people who want vegan food or just good honest takeout! I absolutely loved this place! My niece and I continued our vegan adventures. I saw this one on Yelp and decided to give it a try after reading their story and checking out the menu. First of all, I want to mention that the customer service is stellar! The guy that helped us, I think his name was Albert, explained the menu in great detail and gave us recommendations. We had trouble deciding what to get because everything sounded so good! What we ordered: BBQ Jackfruit : I ordered this, but I honestly didn't like it. The lemon juice on the broccoli was way too much IMO. It overwhelmed everything else. However, my niece tasted mine and loved it. So I think it's just a personal preference. Seven Layer: my niece ordered this. I tasted this and definitely regretted my choice. All of the ingredients were seasoned great and went well together. It reminded me of a Chipotle bowl. Chickpea Tuna: I took this to go. I ate it a couple of days later. Everything held up really well. I was concerned about that. The creamy dressing on the chickpeas mimicked the tuna texture so well and tasted great. They cherry tomatoes added a nice pop of freshness to cut through the richness. Philly Cheesesteak: we got this for my brother. He said it was good but only ate a portion. So my niece ate the rest the next day. She said the texture was really weird and unpleasant. So definitely eat this the same day. Once Albert learned that I didn't enjoy my choice, he let me get something else from the menu. I chose the Seven Layer. I thought that was so nice. I LOVE this place! I was visiting a friend and she recommended we come here for lunch as I am a vegetarian. I was blown away by all the options and flavors. It's so hard for me to find meat substitutes at restaurants, usually they just remove the meat and then it's not the same meal. But here I could get a vegan Philly Cheesesteak Bowl or a carne asada bowl and feel satisfied with the taste. Parking was easy and the service was nice. The portions are big and the prices are typical for LA. We did take it to go as there is no indoor seating, but the food came out fast. First to know is that seating is only outside. Our selections for lunch were the cauliflower shawarma bowl and the mushroom carne asada burrito bowl. The food was so delicious! Very flavorful and fresh and filling. The strawberry dragonfruit and mandarin cardamom frescas were refreshing beverages and the perfect accompaniment. Came here with some friends on a Sunday for lunch. There was plenty of parking right out front. We ordered and received our food quickly. I got the Loaded SoCal Hash, which is on their online menu but not their in-store menu. I felt it was a happy medium between the Philly Cheesesteak and Mushroom Carne Asada, which is exactly what I was looking for! My total came out to $21 or $22 after tax and tip, which is decently pricey but worth it. I felt that the meal was filling without making me feel gross, and I appreciated all the flavors and textures. There are a few small tables outside, but we ended up walking 5 minutes to the beach and eating there. I'm shocked I haven't written a review of my favorite vegan spot in the entire Southern California maybe in the country. When I tell you, this place is a gem believe me. Cute and aesthetically pleasing family owned shop that brings very fresh ingredients and flavorful & creative dishes. I come with my family so we all get something different. I'll be honest that I'm bias when I say the goddess bowl is the best one in the menu. I quite literally get it 98% of the time I'm there. I will say request for the non sweet tahini as some times, when combined with the sweet potato in the bowl it can be a little too sweet which I'm going for more of the savory. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I seriously can't find a "bad" one. Something for everyone. Hot or fresh they got options. The portion size is great, we actually split one order between our 2 toddlers. You're always greeted with a smile from the owner himself, Jason (really great guy), or the cooks who have just as big as a smile. You'll be happy to support!
