I decided to try Lilians out since it was in the same shopping center as other establishments where I was running errands. They asked us to wash our hands, but an hour later that service was no longer required when some clients just got a squirt of hand sanitizer. I STILL DONT KNOW WHATS THATS ABOUT The First Lady who did my pedicure was sweet and talked me into a dip overlay. I wanted a pedicure and manicure with an acrylic overlay. I ended with what looks like play-doh in my nails. This is called dip. I do not like dip. Dip takes twice as long if not longer than acrylic. There was not buffering of the dip powered once it settles, that's why my nails appear to be caked on and not smooth. The only upside to dipping is that there's no UV light. Oh also, I did not get the manicure. It was all but forgotten about. But I was just ready for this experience to end. They won't change the channel The Good Feet store was on for so long I am considering going to get orthotics. read more

Came in at 10 today. I was really surprised that they were open and had 3 customers they were already working on. In New Jersey nail salons opened at earliest 11. My nail technician was Joy. She was a pleasure and to my surprise just moved from New York this month. I also over heard another technician state he as well was freshly new to Tampa. The salon did become busy and the staff handled it really well. The prices were great. The atmosphere of the salon and decor were clean and fresh. The nail polish and gel selection are new and up to date. I chose a color changing gel that changes form purple to nude depending on your body temperature. I defiantly recommend this nail salon. Came here for the first time for a gel manicure and pedicure and had such a good experience! Amber did an amazing job I was greeted as I walked in and was able to be seated right away. All the available colors for regular polish, gel, and dip powder were really well organized and they had a color card of all the available gel colors, which made it a lot easier for me to pick a color vs looking at the bottle. Amber did a great job with my gel manicure and pedicure, and made sure I was aware of any extra charges for whatever I wanted (e.g. elite spa pedicure and matte top coat). The place is stylish and chic just like the ladies who work here. She took her time to get the cuticles and filed my nails the way I like. She used oils and creams for my feet and hands. It also includes this awesome scrub for your feet and calves. She really massaged your legs with the scrub and then with a lotion. She finishes it off with a hot towel. She was also aware that I was ticklish so she meticulously scrubbed down the heels of my feet. I also really liked the massage chairs they have. They're modern and the massage is subtle and relaxing. I will be coming back for another relaxing experience. She is quick and efficient. Details that I noticed and liked: they have a water jug for customers. Their bathroom is clean and have tampons offered for ladies. The music is eclectic with awesome songs playing. They have a variety of OPI and gel color options , not as many Essie though. This place was cute and the staff was friendly. Not a crazy huge selection for the gel polish but I still found a really pretty color. My friend got a pedicure and there were plenty of colors for that. My girl did a really great job on my gel manicure and was very detailed. Here's where they loose the two stars, on yelp they had a check in deal where ANY service was $5. This seemed too good to be true so I called to verify and they said yes that was the deal! Well, when my friend and I went to pay and showed them the check in offer and they said it was only $5 off. I showed them that it clearly said $5 and that I called to confirm but they wouldn't honor the check in offer. This is frustrating because they are running a groupon deal that's a way better bang for your buck and I would've done that had I known they would not be giving me the $5 offer. read more

He worked really fast and communicated with me throughout the appointment as to what I could expect price-wise (such as paying extra for coffin shape) so there were no surprises when checking out! I recently moved to the area and have tried several local nail salons. Some were ok, some were rushed and one place almost cut the tip of my finger with the clippers! Lilian's is the best nail salon I've found. The staff was so welcoming. I told them what I wanted (gel) and what I don't like (thick gel) and they did a really great job. I left with a smudged big toe and my tech already out the door so couldn't get it fixed. She was nice, the place is clean, but for $60 I'd expect a fix for smudged polish and a nail spray since my drying time would run pass 5pm (closing time). Called an hour and a half before closing and all I wanted was a fill and he said he would not do it because he was "too busy" for me that's unacceptable for a business to not be able to accommodate a recurring customer. Maybe you should hire more people if you can't even provide service during service hours and I definitely wouldn't advertise walk ins as welcome if you can't handle doing a basic routine maintenance two hours before close. Worst customer!! So I paid for a membership on October 26th they charge me 60 dollars. Then on November 28th they charge me another 30 dollars. Now on the 8th they are charging me again. So ten days after I've been charge they charge me again. They said since my first time was the 26th of October I paid for the whole month even tho that was my first visit. They said I need to be charge on the first of the month, but I was not told this until after the second charge. Avoid this place they charge you what ever they want at their conveniences. Went to Lilian's Nail Bar as we wanted to try something new and see if it was as good as the one we normally go to. The place is clean and the massage chairs where ok. Nothing out of the ordinary. We where greeted by employees with get your color while we prep your chair. The girl that did my pedicure was a little rough but I hadn't gone to get a pedicure in 6 weeks so I figured I was a little over do. When it came time for the massage I was a little disappointed as I was looking forward to getting pampered with a nice massage on my feet after a long day of work but she was very brief and it wasn't as pleasant as the regular place we go to. The employees offered me some type of cream that she said would help with my dry skin which would cost mi an additional $5. I advice I really didn't want it and she insisted again, which I again said no. Pedicure is $25 but they try to insist you get there spa pedicure which is the $35. I'm not sure why they have bar in there name as we where not offered any wine or drinks while we where there ‍ Like my sister said we don't know how good we have it in one place until you go visit another. I won't make this mistake again. We will keep going to our favorite place in Land o Lakes Rose Nail salon. They always greet us with a nice smile and are happy and attentive to all there customers and the owner makes it a point to remembers you. And we really get pampered for $25 Yelp gave a 15% discount if we did a check in which after the employees talked to each other back and forth they honored, that is why I'm giving 3 stars rating. read more

My nails have never looked this good! I've been getting my nails done for 5 years now and let me tell you I've been this pleased with the outcome. I've been to at least 20+ nail salons and nobody has perfected the look I wanted except for this place! She was very nice and worked very hard on my nails. I got a fill and you know those nail places that makes your fake nails look fat at the end? Not this place. All I said is I wanted to them to look natural and she succeeded. Second time here and both times I've left happy. I first went to this salon about 6 months ago and had an average experience but I was hesitant to go back after reading bad reviews. But I broke a nail and knew that most nail salons would be packed since it was a Sunday, so I decided to check out Lilian's. I walked in and only one person was getting a pedicure so I was helped right away. They have a large selection of colors to choose from, both gel and regular polish. Nelson did my nails and did a good job. I liked how I wasn't rushed. At other salons I've been rushed out with wet nails. I was a loyal customer of Happy Nails and it's definitely the "see and be seen" place to go for TP residents, but I tried TP Nails one day when I needed a quick wax. Later I came in for Pedi. They were. Great and a lot cheaper than Happt Nails. My pedi plus chin wax was only $28. The young girl did my pedi and was so DILIGENT taking almost an hour working on my toes and putting lots of coats and buffing first. Time will tell on how long it stays on but I'm thinking it should last awhile. The 4 stars is only bc they did not have a lot of choices in non Gel polish. read more

This little nail bar is located right in Tampa Palms. It's quiet and low key. Not a lot of fumes from acrylics, etc. Professional and friendly service. I'm elated to have found Amber who is an expert at ingrown toenails. I probably pass 40 nail salons enroute to Lillian's but It's worth the drive. Fast service by Lee he did a clean and beautiful job on my full set with gel. I opted to get 3 colors on each hand and he did it with no issues. Cut my skin up and very uneven thick gel nail job. It's a been a week later and the wounds finally healed but the skin around my nails are peeling now. I also felt like my hands were under the lamps too many times. Only two nails were painted then put under the lamp? This was repeated a bunch of times until all my nails were finally done. The color I chose wasn't very opaque but a clear coat before and two more after the color just made my nails look weird. I've been to so many nail places but never seen that. I went to Lillian's for the first time on Friday, 12/20/19. The place is nice and clean and I do like my manicure. However, I will not be going back there. The reason I came was because their website shows they do a monthly fee with unlimited refills/repairs on certain manicures. When I asked about this, they said they no longer do this because they're under new management... The photo I showed my nail tech doesn't really match my manicure, and her and another tech tried to upcharge me without me knowing. The photo I showed her had diamonds on one nail, but I explained I only wanted glitter. After I said this, the other nail tech whispered something in her language and I heard "diamond" in English. I then clarified again to my tech that I would like glitter only, no diamonds. The nail tech beside her looked surprised/ashamed and said "you know what I said?" and then left.
