Went in through the back entrance. Not really greeted, was looking at the menu and it was snatched to remove items no longer available. The desserts are a little overpriced $9 and really not all that, I've had better. The savory leek was delicious.

    crunchy fruit raspberries

i've been seeing ads about this place and it was finally time to try. I am waiting to try the crunchy fruit. I have not tried that yet; however, the cupcakes are not worth it. They are small size cupcakes, and there is nothing inside the cupcake, the flavor is in whatever icing or topping you have. I went on a Saturday and there was a line, they only have one cash register, and one person working the register. They are very slow and busy talking to one and other to pay attention to customers. Overall, it was meh. I do not think I would go back. also, the size of the crunchy fruit is very small compared to many I have seen on the Internet, and $9.95 for one. And the cupcakes were 395 each. Not worth it.

Impossible to get out of the ridiculous cup they put them in. A sad attempt at "filling".

Was looking forward to everything about this place. So disappointed. The cupcakes were very, very tiny and subpar at best. For $4.25 each i definitely expected more. They were BITE SIZE cupcakes with whipped cream icing with the attempt of "filling" with whatever flavor you chose off the menu...Wouldn't go back and definitely wouldn't recommend. A chain store would be just as tasty at a third of the price. Sorry not sorry.

    Mixed berry round croissant

Stopped by here with a friend from a recommendation from her mom's group. Was bummed they were out of the mango passion fruit round croissant but went with the mixed berry. Croissant was delicious!! Flakey layers, buttery and a delicious mixed berry filling. I will definitely be back!

    Spinach & Feta

I saw this place on Instagram and wanted to try it. The stuffed croissants were the main thing on my list. They did not disappoint! I got the dark chocolate one and my mom got the lemon one. They were delicious. I especially enjoyed the dark chocolatetopping on the outside of mine. Everything in the store looks so tantalizing and delicious, I want to try it all. I also ate a feta and spinach. The man even offered to warm it up for me, which I accepted and appreciated. It was delicious. If you live in the area, I definitely recommend checking this place out! They even take custom cake orders.

The strawberry and coffee bean mousse cakes tasted super good! Very light and refreshing dessert although they are a little pricy.

    Cupcakes

Adorable little cake shop in Hamilton. We picked up a few goodies the other day. We ordered a vanilla cake pop (decorated like a little ghost!), two chocolate chip cookies, and 6 cupcakes (assortment of vanilla, chocolate, hot fudge sundae and pumpkin flavored). The cupcakes are to die for. They have cream in the center, and plenty of delicious fluffy icing on top. The cake is very moist and delicious. I love that they're not overly sweet. Any time I've ordered cupcakes in other bake shops (in a variety of price ranges) I'm never thrilled. After a bite or two I'm ready to toss it. They're so sickeningly sweet that's all you taste. At Lilla Vanilla you actually taste the flavor! I can eat a whole cupcake without it hurting my teeth (or my blood sugar!). The interior is super cute and very clean. I noticed a few tables/chairs set up outside to eat your treats. Prices are fair, our total came to around $40 but I don't mind paying for something so delicious! Service was great, as well. Next time I need to order a cake for a special occasion I will definitely try Lilla Vanilla. I highly recommend their delicious cupcakes!

Vegan whole wheat croissant and leek and Parmesan
    Roxanne O.

Located in an obscure strip in Hamilton, you would have to know that it was there in order to come visit. Not many bakeries have vegan croissants, so we gave that a try along with a leek and parmesan pastry and an opera cake. The vegan croissant was whole wheat, so a bit chewier than expected, and not quite as light as you would expect a croissant to be, but pretty good nonetheless. The leek and parmesan pastry was unexpectedly good, though I would have liked a little more leek. And the opera cake had a discerning coffee flavor throughout, though a little dry. One of the owners is Brazilian, and while you don't see Brazilian treats at the case, you can call and order pao de queijo to be freshly baked ten minutes before you arrive! A little pricey at $1.60 each, but maybe they're bigger than what I'm assuming in my head? As a French patisserie, their prices match but I'm glad to have one nearby finally! You can also check their Instagram daily for their bakery availabilities which is really convenient!

Delicious. Best turnovers I've had since France! And the small individual cakes are fantastic. Highly recommend!

Just going to stop by since I was in the area. The bakery is in this shopping center and the parking lot was pretty full when I arrived Sunday afternoon. I agree with the reviewers that this place is small. I felt that I wanted to take my time looking at items but the space felt crowded while looking. Overall they had many options to choose some but there were some empty looking shelves in the far back. I managed to get a few items to try and a slice of cake. There are kiosks to also order drinks. The line was long but moved quickly. The items I tried: Cheesy hot dog: pretty good! very sweet bread with a tiny hot dog. White Chocolate strawberry: delicious strawberry filling. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Cant wait to come back and maybe try one of the drinks :)

It's not the place I go to when looking for a life-altering culinary experience--I go there when looking to feed my face fast and move along with my mission. I usually get one of their savory pastries or a croissant, or perhaps a pain au chocolat if the urge hits me. They all taste okay, and they get the job done. The only thing I've had there that was a definite "Never Again" was the hot dog--a desiccated disaster in every way imaginable. On the flip side, the cheese quiche has been a winner those times I had it. It didn't take me back to the Alsace, but it was better than average. I had some cake from here recently. Visually, it looked fantastic, and the interior was moist (dry cake is a crime!), and it had all kinds of chocolate on it and in it, but the flavor was just "good". My socks remained on after tasting it. It was like they left the something special out that would have taken it from good to memorable. It looked great, but the taste didn't quite live up to the visuals. I'd eat it again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it for someone's birthday. The people working there are nice, but it can be a bit slow sometimes to make it through the register during the breakfast or lunch hours, especially if there's an indecisive person in front of you who changes their mind every fifteen seconds while picking up some pastries for the office, and she's oblivious to the five people waiting in line behind her. Although it's not the sort of place that's going to me primary destination, I'll keep on going here when I'm starving and need something to get me through my trip to the Home Depot. It gets the job done.

I'm glad they opened their store in Morris County. We visited this today on a special occasion ... a cool cafe. The movie received an 80% and 75% approval rating respectfully. After the movie, we stopped by the Paris Baguerre which is only five minutes away. The close proximity is one of the reasons I chose the Paris Baquette. The pastry shop is clean, brightly lit and most importantly quiet enough to have a conversation. As my buddy and I played movie critics we chose our desserts. They make pastries daily. We went with the "Strawberry Lemon Cream Croissants" $6.69. The croissant was definitely fresh and delicious. A little high in price. but the quality and taste were there. They offer Lavazza coffee. I can't remember the price but it was not out of line. You can park in designated parking spaces in the SOFI parking garage. They have an app and a reward program, as well. As a final note, if aliens can get to Earth from light years away, we would not stand chance if they had nefarious intentions.
