I asked for an ombré color change on my acrylic nails and was told to come in. This is what I got and obviously was not happy. Even the nail tech acknowledged it was not well done but only after I said I was unhappy and that they were horrific. She then tried to tell me that she told me it would not look like I wanted but never once when I called to make the appointment and explained my situation nor when I showed up in person and showed her what I wanted did she tell me it would not turn out as I was hoping. This is the best place that you will find in Portland for a pedicure for more challenging toes. I have ingrown toenails and they do "surgery" on them to make them beautiful. The staff are contentious, meticulous and hard working. They offer all of the salon services (manicure, pedicure, hair cuts, styling, waxing and facials) and the owner and staff are lovely and very friendly. I've been here a handful of times and i have finally decided i won't be going back. first off, this place is not your typical salon. it's in a house and has a cat that walks around and Yen, the owner's, young daughter helps out. It's cute and quirky and different. Yen did my pedicure the first time and that's literally the only reason i've kept coming back. If you get her, you're in good hands. If you get any of the other women involved, don't expect nearly the same treatment. 2 out of 5 times i've had to wait 30+ minutes in a pedicure chair, long enough for the water to turn cold. The last time i went, the woman doing my nails wasn't very clean. she spilt the nail tools on the floor to find what she needed and even used the cuticle cutters from my tool pile on another woman (i know i know i should've said something but i thought i was imagining it). The job was lack luster with clean up i had to do once i got home (in their defense i didn't notice until i left but in my defense I shouldn't have to notice). I got the classic pedicure and manicure with shellac on my nails. When i got to the register she charged me $5 more than i was expecting. i pointed at their menu and how it should be cheaper based on THEIR MENU but they continued to argue so i just paid and left. It would be one thing if they charged me more and i was stoked with what i left with but to already be unhappy with my experience, get an amateur product, and have to pay more- i'm not going back. read more

Love this place. This is the only salon that will put the gel to my cuticle. When I had my nails done at other salons my manicure looked a week old because of the nail showing between the cuticle and in the gel. All the staff speaks English to me and when doing my nails even though they all speak other languages as well. I appreciate that. This salon has been here over ten years. Love these girls. read more

My appointment time was not honored, and had to wait over 2 hours between the mani and the pedi. In between, the owner catered to 2 Caucasian girls who drove up in their luxury car, and needed a mani ASAP. Heard good things about this place so decided to give a try! First impression it was quiet and small but that was fine. We had two pedicures, my friend had to wait awhile for someone else to do his toes while I had a lady do mine. She was great very gentle with my toes! Then I had another lady basically recut what the First Lady did and she was rough and it kinda hurt.. then had a third lady do my French tip, it was good but not super straight as I would like. It was a really good deal for 25$ mine was a little extra cuz I chose shellac and French tip. There was also a dog named Tommy who I got to hold during my pedicure when I was there he was adorable and very well behaved! And the kitty was very curious and cute! I might come back here if I'm in the area and only if I get the First Lady I got through out my whole pedicure. But you really can't beat that price for a pedicure! It included paraffin wax, massage, and clay mask stuff which leaves ur caves feeling really nice! I usually go to paradise which is 45 for a pedicure with no paraffin wax or clay included. read more

This place is horrible! Save your trouble and time, don't come here! I made an appointment for 1:30pm for my sister, mother, and I to have a mother/daughter day. To my surprise, they had just started 4 other women right before us, despite having our appointment, and there were only 2 people working! They were able to sit us in chairs to soak our feet, but an hour later we still were just sitting there soaking, and no one had started any of us. What's the point of an appointment if we still have to wait over an hour to get anything done?!? When they FINALLY started us, we had already wasted over an hour and had little time left to get our nails done. We stayed to have my mom and sister's nails done, but I wasn't able to do mine because we ran out of time. When I made my appointment the day before, the lady should have told us that they had limited staff and couldn't take us all at once. At least we would've been a little more prepared time-wise. On top of all that, their foot spas didn't look very clean and they were re-using tools on multiple people.. This place was ridiculous and very unprofessional. My advice: Go somewhere else. read more

Best nail care ever. Really. My nails were bitten to nubs and my cuticles were torn and bleeding. She worked very slowly and carefully to make acrylic nails that have remained perfect for 2 weeks. This is a cute salon in a converted house off Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. I believe it is owned by two sisters. I had a pedicure by Yen (one of the owners) and it was GREAT! They have massage chairs with jet bowls (not my favorite). The water temp was nice and warm and smelled really good. Pedicure was thorough and I was done in about 45 minutes. I paid $20 + tip for the service. I chose to purchase a new pumice stone, which was $3. I would recommend either bringing your own pumice stone and nail buffer or ask them to open new ones for your pedicure. Otherwise, I believe they sterilize previously used ones. I do not think you can totally sterilize pumice stones and nail buffers, so I bring my own. The cons: I am NOT a fan of the jet foot bowls due to the inability to sterilize the jets totally. It would be great if they would offer at least one non-jet foot bowl, which is definitely the trend in pedicures. Overall you can expect prompt, courteous service in this well run salon and day spa at an affordable price! What's not to like about that! read more

Excellent service! The ladies here really make sure that your nails are to your satisfaction and take their time whilst working with you. In addition to nails, this place also does hair cuts, facials, and waxing. Despite the last minute phone call, they were able to squeeze in 3 manicures and pedicures with full service. For both a manicure and pedicure (regular polish), it was $38 and the pedicure included massage with oil/lotion, wax, hot stones, and a hot towel. Would definitely recommend this location to anybody in the Beaverton area, as the ladies here are pleasant and wonderful to work with. read more

Hot stones, parafin wax, and a minty clay mask to top off an awesome massage.
