I went back the very next day to have the fall out fixed and the same thing happened so I decided lashes weren't for me. For some reason I decided at the beginning of the year, I wanted to give lashes a try again and I am happy I did. Jenna understood what I wanted and executed it flawlessly. She was quick so I was surprised at how long my lashes lasted. At three weeks. I went back for a fill and it did not look like I needed it. She cleans the lashes without burning my eyes and that's a big deal for me. My eyes aren't red when we are finished and I always manage to get a really good nap in.... In the shopping center, it's a small location right next to the WalMart. I've come in multiple times and even when it's busy, the line moves quickly. There's usually one or two ladies working, but even if it's just one, the wait isn't too bad. Since Covid, they ask that only 3 people be seated in the waiting room at a time and require masks for entrance. They have a rewards system and give you a card to get signed after each visit. Come 10 times and on your 11th visit, it's free! Not too bad considering your paying under $10 to get your eyebrows threaded to begin with. Mine usually last for more than 3 weeks. This time, however, made me view the salon and management differently. I showed the nail technician a photo of red chrome nails with the middle two nails having red French tips, which would be my Valentine's Day nails. She told me she could do it. I even left the photo up on my phone for some time so that she can reference it, if needed. As I saw her painting the red French tips, I informed her that they were a different shade of red from the other nails. She showed me the two products (gel and powder) and that they are the same shade number. I proceeded to let her finish as I thought that the end results may be different. It was not. She then added the "chrome" finish. I told her that it wasn't shiny at all nor looked like chrome and had a pearlescent finish instead. She told me that it was very popular with clients. She absolutely disregarded what I was saying to her. She also cut my skin while running the drill alongside my cuticles. At this point, the manager entered the conversation. I showed him the picture and he told me that the photos found online for inspiration "all have filters on them." He pretty much sided with the technician and saw no wrong. They both then told me to go wash my hands and see how the nails look in the sun. I did so and saw no difference from when I was seated at my chair. I was baffled that the manager could not see what was wrong. He did not offer to rectify the situation. I even asked for another type of coat that would make my nails shiny. They could not offer that to me for whatever reason. I clearly walked out with hideous nails. Even if I find someone who can replicate a photo here, the management alone would be reason not to go here. I paid for my service here out of respect for their time, but will not be returning and I urge others to do the same. Please see the photos I have provided.
