Walk ins welcome is always a bad sign. Last minute appointment, so I knew I would be getting the dregs of the manicurists, so a terrible manicure and pedicure I guess should be expected. Still sucks. Go to Lotus Nails and Spa in PS instead. read more

This salon was recommended to me so I thought I'd try it - closer to our place than the other salon I often use when in the area (was going to La Quinta). Probably the best pedicure I have ever had - and with all the add ons, less expensive than any other salon anywhere (fancy hotels and day spas not included of course). Incredibly reasonable. You can tell that most of the customers are regulars, it is always busy but not crowded. My gel manicure lasted an insanely long time - perfect, just growing out three weeks later. I hesitated to write this review but I think people need to know about 3 weeks ago I went in for a second time to the salon the first time it was okay nothing to write home about but it was convenient so I go there for a gel manicure and a regular pedicure I picked the color that was a combination in a box of gel and regular polish for my toes it took him nearly three times to get it right and kept trying to match colors when the kids were right on the other wall then he finally gets the package I want there's a bunch of Vietnamese being spoken with this woman she comes over with nail polish that's not even a jail and tells me that she's going to put it in the jail to make it work better are you kidding me no you're not gave me an argument then while she's doing that I had brought in my own top coat that is a quick dry and it's quite expensive he thought it was too thick so he put acetone in it and ruined it if that wasn't enough and it should be enough for anybody reading this he wasn't wearing gloves he coughed into his hand then grab my hand again I thought I would die the nail polish didn't last even 2 weeks and it was a gel it was just a horrible miserable experience I didn't ship and I should have charged back on my credit card it was that horrible go First off you do not alter gel nail polish with regular nail polish that is the most ridiculous response that you suggested this that and the other thing I have no idea why you would think doing that is good shall we check with the manufacturer and see if they recommend mixing the two . You can't remove the Polish and redo it I wouldn't come back there I had it redone somewhere else but you can credit back my credit card that you can do . You can also have your employees wear gloves and when they cough into their hands grab your hand are you kidding me do I need his germs on my hands . As far as my polish being ruined I threw it in the trash so when you're busy refunding me my money you could also include cost of replacing the Polish of $12 but of course you won't do that and to be clear I refused having you alter an old polish which you should have thrown out and not try to use on somebody or even come over to me and you didn't come over to me Steven some woman came over to me are you kidding me and tells me she's going to put some random OPI color that she thought was close to what they were putting on my nails to make it better please provide proof to me and the rest of the readers that this is an accomplished accepted suggestion that you take a non-gel different brand of Polish and put it in a gel polish and that will work better I want to see that proof you're full of it Steven I expect a refund and as a matter of fact your answer is annoyed me so much I'm going to report it to the cosmetology board I want to see a credit to my credit card or exactly back and charge rack from my bank Why do you answer me with this stupidity. If the polish is no good asking me to pick a different brand are you kidding me this should show potential clients the way you operate. It is my fault you have old polish and then think it is okay to rinky tink the polish change it's chemical ratios and then try to make it my fault are you kidding me with this. Please don't make me post the photos of this horrible manicure with the peeling gel after 5 days! I am definitely picky when it comes to my nails. I have high expectations, let's face it having nails that are professionally done are expensive but when done correctly are completely worth it. Tippy toes nail salon is definitely worth it. The salon is very clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely kind the prices are very fair and the selection of dip and gels are incredible! Walked in to this clean little salon and asked for my feet to be done. I was quickly offered a seat between a couple of older ladies who were enjoying the services. I picked my services off a menu and was very pleased with the length of time and ability of the guy who rubbed my feet, toes, and calves. As time went on the salon filled up and I was grateful I grabbed a chair when I did. The music was a good selection from the 80s through the current and the volume of the entire place wasn't bad. Salon visits are very dependent on who you get to do your nails, as we all know. I picked this spot because they offer Dazzle Dry products. They are not an authorized provider however - that's more difficult to find in the desert cities. The manicure did not last as expected and my nails had bubbles. The salon is a busy spot for a quick mani/pedi in a convenient location. Parking is tough as the lot is shared with multiple stores. I was helped by a very unfriendly provider whose product knowledge was limited so the review reflects only that service provider. Definitely search other reviews names to request their best nail technicians. The provider did not bring the base coat to proper temperature to make it clear as DD advises, and then she shook the bottle of color, instead of roll as they also advise. When I pointed this out to her, she was not open to fix these issues. Dazzle Dry is a great product, but it's finicky - you have to use it according to their very specific directions, or your results do not last and, because she shook the bottle, I ended up with bubbles in the final result. I also pointed to a strip where she didn't polish, and instead of starting again, she built up too much polish there - thus peeled that night. So- for those of you looking- yes, they carry Dazzle Dry, but take the time to be sure your provider is knowledgeable. Great looking place for a quick conventional or gel mani/pedi though. read more

I feel like it is the Best salon in greater Palm Springs area!! Very clean, friendly. I play guitar and need strong nails on my right thumb, index, and middle finger. Randy does an exceptional job, creating nails that endure a lot of aggressive finger-picking. Wanted a polish change and got an appointment right away for the next day at 9:00 am. However, I had deep red polish that needed to be removed before changing to a light beige color. Instead of soaking my nails, he tried to remove the old nail polish just with cotton and remover, it didn't work well enough. I even asked if the red was going to show through and got a " I hope not" response. I was in and out in 15 minutes...... I was traveling and this is not my usual nail salon. Not impressed at all!
