I love the vegetable egg rolls and fried rice. My wife likes the vegetables with cashews. Great price, fast service.

We got takeout and it was great! The wait time was longer than expected, but they were very nice. We had soup and shrimp lo mein.

In addition to noodles, the lunch special came with your choice of soup, a spring roll, or 2 crab rangoon. I opted for the crab rangoon. I also ordered 2 dim sum dishes - the shrimp dumplings ($6.50) and snow mountain lava buns ($6.50). The crab rangoon came out first, and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. Then I got the dan dan noodles. The noodles had a bit of a kick, but they weren't overwhelmingly spicy. They had a nice chew, and I slurped them up happily. I just wish there were more noodles lol, but the portions were pretty typical for dan dan noodles at Greater Cleveland restaurants. The dim sum was great. The shrimp dumplings were tender and juicy, and the buns were so fluffy. Be careful eating them though, or you might get hot, delicious egg goo all over your hands, lol. The staff is very no-nonsense. The service was efficient, and I made it in time for my Red Cross appointment. Note - the restrooms are super clean and even smell nice!

They have pictures of the food that they claim to offer... When I got my order, nothing looked like…read morethe pictures they provided. Then when I asked for a refund, I was told I would get one and then the crazy owner. That's what she identified herself as hung up on me and told me she wasn't doing anything for me even though I had taken pictures next to the pictures that I created my order from and said all of this food is different not only was it different. It was horrible. The worst Chinese food I've ever had here and I've eaten Chinese food in Singapore all over Asia. This is not Chinese food at all. It's disgusting and I would highly recommend you don't eat food from there, especially because the owner will not stand behind the food. They cook and prepare and they just hope you're on a trip like I am and won't come back because it's so terrible. Unfortunately, for them after she said she wasn't going to do anything for my order my bank realize that I sent him the information I provided him with information for the pictures and then I had also taken pictures of the food that they had given me so yeah my bank took care of me thank you very much US bank for doing the right thing. You should be ashamed of yourself Szechuan gourmet there is nothing gourmet about your restaurant and this is coming from actually a real restaurant owner. I would never ever treat my guess the way you treated me over the phone you are rude. You produce bad food and hopefully you're not in business for that much longer. It's a shame that you do that and you pass it off as Chinese food especially Szechuan maybe you should look up the province and understand the food that comes from there.

Do you ever hear so many people tell you that you absolutely HAVE to try a restaurant because it's…read moreallegedly the BEST option in town? Kinda like when when your Aunt Suzy says you, "Just have to meet my neighbor's daughter. I know she's 47 and still lives in her parent's basement, but you'll really hit it off because she likes 'The Netflix', too..." Well, China Renaissance is that place for me. After being told that I just had to give it a shot, I finally did. Well, the first time I tried they cancelled my uber eats order after an HOUR with little explanation. Minus one star. After I waited the customary 30 days for my anger to subside, I decided to give them a fresh start and ordered again. Based off of reviews, we went with Mongolian Beef and General Tso/Tao/Tsao's Chicken. Fun Fact: General Tso was a real person, and his family doesn't like the fact that an Americanized chicken dish is named after him, but I digress... I opted to add $3 "extra beef" to the Mongolian Beef order, because, well, I'm kind of a glutton. What arrived was a very tasty beef dish that unfortunately was mostly vegetables and without any trace of the "extra beef". It was almost as if my cardiologist intercepted the order and told the chef, "No, no, no... more veggies for Dan..." Tasty? Yes. Worth the $12 I paid for it? Not a chance. Minus one star. The General Tso's chicken was decent, and they obviously use a higher quality of chicken than most places do. There's just one major issue I have with that: I like my General Tso's to be the smaller chicken cuts of questionable origin that I've grown accustomed to. If I wanted huge pieces of chicken breasts in a barbecue-like sauce I'd just do it myself on a grill. Now, I know that General Tso's Chicken is like the chili of the Chinese food world: It's different at every place. Nonetheless, minus one star. Just like Aunt Suzy's recommendation, this was a letdown.

Kung Pao chicken and Mei Fun were excellent. Orange chicken was not as good, a bit oilyread more
