I have been ordering my Chinese food from Lim Fong's for years, over a decade. Ive watched when the prices went up and still ordered with them. Yesterday I called and asked if I could order from their lunch menu even know the lunch hours was about to end(11-3 I believe). The lady hesitantly told me yes I could. As I was proceed to give her my order she hung up on me. I called back making sure I got to her before 3, she answers but I can hear her taking someone else's order. She gets back to me and starts rushing me to get my order because 3pm was about to hit. I give her my order and she bangs on me again. I go pick up my order and I immediately can tell she has an attitude which is weird because I asked her before I placed my order if it was okay. As I'm paying she tells me I need to call 20 minutes before 3pm if I want to order the lunch special. I say okay and ask her if I can get my drinks that come with the meal. Usually when I ordered here they ask you if what drink you want, if you want any sauce and they give you a couple forks and some napkins. She didn't want to give me ANYTHING!! I kept asking for things which was only making her more upset. When I got home and sat down to eat I noticed my food was more spicy then usual. it was soooo spicy that my lips got swollen and my teeth were burning. I love spicy food but I've never eaten general Tao this spicy from them ever!!!!!! I realized they purposely put a lot of pepper in my food. I called the next day because I had to run to work that day so I couldn't complain and she was acting confused. She didn't want to help and proceeded to hang up on me again. I was looking forward to my second visit here. We got two lunch specials with hot and sour soup. Roast pork with snow peas was disappointing because the pork was old. Tried to eat it but it tasted off so I pulled out the pork and just ate snow peas, carrots and rice. I would have sent this back if I was dining in. I have attached a photo of the pork. The second dish was edible but had old mushrooms that I also discarded. It was chicken low mein. Two ingredients were old which spoiled the meal. Opted for white rice for both specials. My husband and I love Chinese food, it's a cheap meal that we know will be filling and we should have leftovers. We have tried Lim Fong's delight in Westampton and we weren't really fans of the food, mainly the wings. Normally we would get the full chicken wing, instead we were given party wings (drums and flats). This could be due to the chicken shortage at the time. We decided to check this spot out, not knowing it was the same company until we pulled in. We ordered shrimp Lo Mein (combination) with shrimp and broccoli (combination) and 5 chicken wings. Each combination comes with pork fried rice and an pork egg roll. The meals are presented in the black carry out containers with half pork fried rice and the other half the entree. The wings are in a white bag sealed tight along with a small bag for the egg rolls. The wings here are actually full wings not drums and flat, fried well (maybe too well) and my husband loved them. The meal size is decent, and the food is always hot and ready to eat. The day we went the host who took our order was new she was still learning the menu but she was very nice. I used to come here often for Chinese then I moved. I'm back and tried this place again and it was great. Everyone loved their meals and they gave us a free 2 liter since we had a larger sized order. Crab Rangoon was delish! My only complaint was that I ordered shrimp with cashew and the only vegetables in it were celery and carrots. I believe most places add water chestnuts and possibly mushrooms. Would have been better with them in it too- overall great food! read more

It's good typical Chinese take out like a million others. I tried the fried scallops because someone said they were good. I wasn't impressed. The only taste was fried dried out scallop. The chicken dish was good. If you are local, there is no reason not to grab some take out from here. read more

I live really close to Lim Fong's and it's an easy pick up. Foods each have their own flavors and always fresh. I've never been disappointed with the food here. I've eaten here DOZENS of times over the past 10 yrs+ Their Hot and Sour soup is a winter time comfort food for me BUT the taste can vary from time to time. I chalk this up to just different cooks. Still enjoyable just a little different. Store appearance needs to be cleaned up a bit but the kitchen is always busy. read more

My favorite Chinese food (and only Chinese food) in Pemberton. I usually go with the steamed shrimp and mixed vegetables because you get ALOT of shirmp. Veggies are crisp and fresh. Spring rolls are good, and my husband loves the beef and broccoli. Staff comes off rude, but they are actually very nice. Maybe because We eat there so often, I just got used to it. As I sit here nomming on greasy sweet and sour chicken I repeat to myself over and over "so cheap. so cheap." My family and I absolutely LOVE Lim Fongs. They never give me any trouble when I ask to modify my order (I'm picky and ask for a little bit of vegetables almost every time). They are so friendly and the food is so good. I can't order chicken with cashew nuts anywhere else. Unlike another place in my area, I've never ever found plastic or anything strange in my food and we've been ordering from them for years. Highly recommend Lim Fong's. read more
