    Beef Chow Ho Fun 10.

Pretty good Chinese food! I ordered the Beef Chow Ho Fun, and was very pleased with the dish. The food was freshly prepared after I ordered and immediately served, steaming hot. The serving size could feed 2-3 people. My only critique would be that the noodles were slightly over cooked/mushy--I am used to a slightly chewy & "drier" aldente noodle. The service was great, staff was very accommodating and friendly. While waiting for my food, I noticed that they offer delivery for orders $15 and up, which is awesome for those working from home wanting a quick and convenient lunch. There's also tons of parking if you're looking to pick up.

It's been a while since I've had a good Chinese food experience out here in Jersey since I've moved here in august. My husband really wanted Chinese food and I was trying to change his mind... glad he didn't listen to me (for once ). I ordered delivery through Uber eats, accidentally put the wrong address for some reason and they were really friendly and made sure it went to the right person. The driver dropped it off on someone else's porch ( contactless delivery) and after calling the restaurant, he came back and i was already crossing the street to meet up with him. Very friendly service and the food was still hot. I think I found a Chinese restaurant I like here! Soooo good

This restaurant has great food and my husband and I will definitely order from here again. I had the sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice. My husband had sesame chicken with pork fried rice. Both came with egg rolls and as an appetizer we got teriyaki spare ribs (I think). All the food we had was delicious and the order said an hour but was delivered in 30 minutes!

So, my mother told me that this place sold Boba Tea, and since I'm a fan of Boba Tea and haven't had it in a while I figured, let's try this place out! So, we walk in, go to the cash register, and have our order taken by an employee's child; I basically get a Green Tea flavored Boba Tea . The child then goes behind a curtain that leads to the kitchen and talks to the employees for a good four minutes... Quite a lengthy wait just to receive one drink, but whatever. The child then comes out and tells me that they don't have Green Tea Flavoring. Ok, that's fine. Then, I suggested another flavor. The child goes through the curtain again. Super duper... While I'm waiting again, I notice their aquatic pets. Two turtles in a fish tank and an aquarium full of differently colored fish. The turtle's fish tank was filled a quarter of the way with rocks and water and had an overhead light shining down on them. In the water, there was a device that did NOT look like it should have been there (maybe it was a filter, but I'm not entirely sure). All the while, the turtles looked incredibly uncomfortable in their habitat constantly struggling to walk in the rock filled water; the aforementioned device not making their walking any easier. The aquarium was no better. The tank had the appearance of the dentist's aquarium in "Finding Nemo" where you could see more algae than fish. Of course, the cherry on top was the bouquet of electrical cords sitting on the edge of a shelf above the fish bowl. While those cords were being used for the aquarium's filtration system (if there even was one to speak of judging by how green the tank was) there should have been another place they could have place those electrical cords. One of the restaurant's employees comes out this time and says that they straight up didn't have anymore tapioca pearls to make Boba Tea... Like seriously? You made me wait like eight minutes for a Boba Tea just for you to come out and say "whoops, we don't have anymore tapioca pearls to make a Boba Tea." Friggin great... This employee did say that they had Boba Milk made with popping pearls (basically instead of tapioca balls, they're juice filled balls that pop with little effort). So, I ordered that and after like two more minutes, I had my drink. Was it worth it? Not particularly. Especially since you can pretty much buy boba tea ingredients yourself and make them at home. Though, it was nice to experience a different take on Boba Tea. The possibility of me coming back to Heelok is unlikely, especially with how they treat their animals. I'm actually surprised that PETA, ASPCA, and animal activists haven't ascended upon this place in black helicopters yet and taken these poor unfortunate animals to a place that would better care for them.

So, 4th and final day of work in Lumberton, and I was actually looking for a Spanish joint. But I was determined to get my work done in advanced. So I opted a closer restaurant. Literally, next door. I've never picked a Chinese restaurant for lunch, ever, but I was not disappointed, at all!! Staff was very nice and took my order right away. Place was pretty packed. I guess everyone comes here for lunch. I ordered sweet and sour chicken for lunch. Pretty good! Taste just like... well, sweet and sour chicken. The lunch special came with a soda. The portion was rather large. I definitely took half of it to go. And the selections were priced inexpensively. I recommend this place!

Walking in it was lively in the bar area because they were having a trivia night where you can win gift cards. They also have other daily events and happy hours which was great to know. We were immediately seated and our server arrived a few minutes later which was nice bc it gave us time to peek at the menu which is extensive but it was really fun because it's an actual little newspaper which was cute. We ordered the crab dip and a mango martini for me and a blood orange margarita for him of which all three were really good! So much crab dip that we took 1/2 home. And the bread and veggies they serve it with both hit! Entree wise we both ordered items we felt would tell us all we needed to know regarding whether or not they were a legit seafood restaurant - a fried shrimp basket and a broiled combo platter .... BOTH AMAZING! The fried shrimp were MASSIVE and the broiled platter was well seasoned and cooked wonderfully. We had no room for dessert but the menu sounded great. Oh our server was also wonderful! I wish I remembered her name, but she was a tall, blonde young lady with a great sense of humor. So glad our original dinner plans fell through and we finally wound up here - we will be back!

I asked the server to help me choose, and she recommended the baked cod with ritz cracker crust. I remember having this type of preparation at Charlie Brown's back in the day, which was formerly in this space. we chose salads & baked potatoes as our sides, and the salads were substantial and fresh.warm rolls with butter came alongside. after a nice interval, entrees arrived piping hot and the baked potatoes were perfect. my husband got seafood au gratin which was delectable. my cod was delicious- buttery crispy topping and succulent fish. we were too full for dessert but they looked good. service was efficient and helpful, even with a busy room.

But the service that is amazing and all the smiling staff here make up for anything that I don't see on the menu. The place is really well put together and is a very handsome bar it's mostly very wooden and heavy duty. The ambience is something for everyone on the TV or you can just chitchat. They even have this little side room that is nice but beware and bring a coat or a sweater cause it does get chilly in there. They're always seems like a really great group of people there and our favorite waitress is KB/Kristen. She is truly amazing and very attentive, but not annoying. We love their chicken fajitas and steak fajitas, the Cheesesteaks are delish! But My Newest Favorite for the Moment..... is the "We Jammin Burger". It has bacon onion Jam on it and it is amazing! I didn't think that I would like it as Much as I do! But I Realllllllly Do! I'm not really a burger fan... like my husband Is, But THIS BURGER..... has been a Game changer for Me. Warning: Make room in your fridge... because You will definitely bring leftovers home. This meal can feed a family of 4 Easily!! Their Cajun quesadilla is delicious and it does have a nice little zing. Their traditional wings are amazing and their beef stew is delicious and very hearty. We have tried many of their specialties. The Hail Mary is a delicious Caesar salad on top of chicken cutlets and their Broccoli Chicken Cheesesteak is amazing. I recommend you get it pressed on the grill and that way it won't fall out as you bite each delicious bite. I would say 80 to 90% of the visits that we have had at this amazing establishment. We always bring home leftovers. So be aware that you were going to have lunch for tomorrow. You will get to the point where you will just think of something to eat that they have on their menu and your mouth will just start to drool. We definitely recommend going. I'm not a huge drinker so I really can't say much as for their drinks but everyone there seems very happy and the portions are huge. I definitely say try it, what's the worst that happens you have leftovers for the next day or two lol It is my husband and my favorite new place that's been around forever Hey, maybe we'll see you there

They have hibachi, variety of sushi (cooked and raw), crab legs, softshell crabs (my fav), salt pepper shrimps, and your typically Chinese restaurant food selections. Their softshell crabs were really delicious. The seasoning used in the stir fry is so good. The employees provide each table a large bowl for the crab shells and every few minutes, they come by to take away the plates and provide us with new bowl for the crab legs. They were very attentive. Overall, I'd say this is better than the average Chinese buffet. Would I come back here again? Sure, when Im in the area. Would I intentionally drive out here for the food? Probably not when there's so many buffets around.
