This is my favorite Chinese spot in Jersey. It's the closest thing to NYC Chinese food. They used to do a lunch buffet from 11-230 on the weekdays. But I don't think that they resumed after Covid. The prices did go up, but the quality of the food is still amazing. Whenever I'm in town, I order in from here. read more

Order was completely wrong pretty mediocre service and I'm pretty unsatisfied with the overall experience

One of my favorite places to get Chinese food around JBMDL. The food hasn't disappointed yet, always delicious. There's not much to choose from the immediate area so having a good Chinese restaurant near by is a plus. They do not offer seating service so he ready all orders are for takeout. They can get super busy so make sure to give yourself plenty of time and call in your order first otherwise he ready to wait a while for the order. read more

0 stars - he messed up our order and really bad customer service. It would've been so easy to solve our problem I ordered 5 separate meals at Panda Chinese Restaurant. Starting from there, it was a total deception. During the phone call, I double-checked to make sure I had all the meals correctly and when the food finally came, there was one meal missing. We called the place for clarification and initially, he pretended he couldn't hear us. He said the connection was bad and told us to be outside. We asked can you hear us? He answered no. So apparently he had trouble hearing us but no trouble responding to us. After going outside, for a "better signal" the guy was still very defensive, he kept talking over us, not listening, interrupting, or allowing us to express our concerns. He just said " I didn't miss any meals" and didn't listen to what we had to say, as customers we wanted to know what was wrong and find a solution to our dissatisfaction. When we asked to confirm what order he got to prove if he wrote down accurately, he mentioned all the meals except for one that he made a combo. I wanted shrimp and fried rice and another girl wanted chicken and broccoli only ( with no sides )He mixed both and made one single meal when it was actually two. To begin with, he never asked me on the phone to make a combo. When we realized that this was the mistake by asking "did you combine these two meals?" He simply hung up the phone. We just wanted to know what was going on. We called again to confirm and he was a complete asshole and he hung up again, end of the story. The problem was easy to solve. He misunderstood the order and combined my meal with someone else. He charged for 4 meals, not 5 so he could own up to his mistake, apologize for the confusion, and politely offer to place another order. He took the nasty and easiest way out: just ignore and hang up the phone. Ordering food should be a pleasant experience when we are out of town and want convenience. He made my night worse and I don't recommend any customer to EVER order food in this place. Because I didn't have enough service, I couldn't check the reviews at first but after realizing how we were treated plus reading the past reviews I got to only one conclusion: The customer service really SUCKS and it's the backbone and the business reputation. If possible could give negative stars for this experience. read more

I've been eating here since 2006. Chow Mein, Teriyaki, Beef Broccoli, and Springs rolls are my go to and the combo can serve 2 easily. The staff is great, they offer a punch card if you know you're coming back for free drinks and a free combo. read more

Food is good but the customer service seems to be horrible. Ordered through Grubhub and the restaurant missed one whole order and sweet and sour sauce. I called to let them know and was given immediate attitude and told that it's Grubhub's fault and I need to call them. I don't know about most people, but I don't have a direct line to Grubhub. I did go through the Grubhub app to claim I didn't receive one of the items and they will process a refund, but that doesn't solve the problem of a missing dinner. Businesses should be customer focused, especially when they make a mistake. There are other choices for Chinese restaurants in the area, so I won't be going there again and will recommend to everyone I know in the area not to go there. read more

We went for some good ans old chinese lunch on a sunday afternoon. This spot seems a little unpopular, can be a good thing for a subday since theres no waiting for tables. Seems like they have a all you can eat bufget during the week and some great prices for their lunch speciasl (which are not available on sundays) on sundays you will be only going to be getting full menu prices. I got a crab fried rice and it was pretty ok but keep in mind it calls for a little extra salt and the crab is actually kani not real crab, but the price was ok, also they only have fountain drinks, so forget about the soda cans when you come over. Overall i think that it was a ok lunch, the service was nothing special, the price was pretty ok even thought it was full price menu, so if you are looking for cheap eats, this is fine and you will get the ok quality meal you paid for. read more

I'm so ashamed! I'm embarrassed. Embarrassed that I came here. I should've known to leave when the place was empty (1pm on Friday afternoon for the buffet). I came here with 2 of my young boys. The total came to $23. Don't know how because when I asked all she showed me was 1 adult +2 kids total $23.40. The girl still didn't understand what I was asking. I just took it as a lost cause. I asked for a booster seat for my child, no one in the restaurant (out of 4 grown men and a woman prob in their late 20s /30s) did not understand what I was asking for!! Nevertheless, they didn't have any - only 2 high chairs. My son even mentioned at one point that no one was in there...he counted the people sitting at the tables (5 total; 3 of which were the grown men sitting by themselves at 3 separate tables eating their lunch...nothing that was offered from the buffet ha!) The food. Japanese-SAD. Nothing like what the ad says. There were a few sushi choices; California roll, a roll with seaweed+cucumber, salmon+avocado, and a couple more...nothing to rave about. Chinese-SAD. The "lo mien" is what my kids ate. It was pretty much empty. They never refilled anything. There were maybe 10 different variety of dishes. Seriously?? And, it has most likely been sitting there since..wait for it...last night!! Do yourself a favor, DO NOT EAT HERE! You've been warned!! Hell, even Taco Bell directly across the street is more appetizing! Go to Afghan Kabob next door, the food there is amazing and worth the few extra bucks! I had take out from there the other night. The chick pea is a must! If you do decide to eat here to try for yourself, lucky for you there's a Sam's liquor store right next to this establishment where you can drink your sorrows away..you're welcome! The delivery compared to dining in is way better to me. I didn't like the buffet selection. After reviewing the menu I decided to try them again. Ordered the hibachi shrimp with fried rice. Came with a salad. The wait was only 30 minutes. The best hibachi shrimp, vegetables, & rice I've had since I've been here in Jersey. Well worth the money. read more

Got take out from here and it was a disappointment. The chow fun was jello-ey and didn't taste fresh at all and the crab rangoons weren't really crispy. We showed up around 2pm. Things looked run down and dirty. The sushi seemed like it had been there all day out on a plate. The buffet looked dry and the chicken was rock solid. I've ordered delivery from here a few times and they almost always mess up my order. The food is decent but there are usually things missing and other items added that I didn't want.
