got my husband's wedding ring resized at this horrid place. wasn't the right size the first time, I asked to clarify how it was sized nearly a full size larger than what is was supposed to be, and proceeded to be told off by ryan. i've never been treated so horribly by a random person, one who manages to own this place. ryan hates "my generation," is disrespectful to women, insists on getting the last word in, has literally 0 customer service skills, likes to make you feel like you're stupid, seems to get off on talking down to women, and tells you how "nice" of a person is when you're frustrated over the way you're being spoke to. truly baffled by the interaction i had with a grown man who likes to escalate situations for fun and hates millennial women. read more

I brought in my old wedding ring that had been bent out of shape when it snagged on some bedding. I tried to fix it but made it worse. I didn't think it was possible to ever fix it the way it was before. I decided to give Ryan Diamonds a try. I was very impressed on how he was able to put it back together. Believe me, it was a job! That said, they only offer in-store credit; there will be no refund on any purchase over $50. I don't get a birthday present this year, because this place won't give us our money back. So if you look on Google they have thousands of good reviews. I looked there to be sure before going to Ryan's. Yelp not showing accurate info. So for my review. Took ten minutes to drop my ring off to be resized. It was done with in two hours. Under $100 to resize. Ring looks gorgeous and actually fits my finger now. The service was fantastic and the guys in there were super nice. Will go back for other things jewelry related should anything come up. Would rather use a shop like this than a chain store. I stopped in to get a pin for a watch band (RoadID) A few minutes later they were done and told me it would be $12.50. I was expecting something around $2.50 max. I wish they would've told me how much it would've cost upfront. The RoadID cost about $30 new and I wasn't interested in spending this much to fix this. They always make sure I find what I'm looking for and I love that they dip my ring in less than 20 mins! I don't have to leave it over night or a few days like other jewelers do. Run far far away from Ryan's Diamonds..bought my ring here 5 years ago. My ring has had diamonds fall out over 10 times. I have always have Ryan's fix it, just for more to fall out. When speaking to Ryan this summer he suggested retipping my ring and doing some other small fixes, and renewing my warranty for my ring. I do so with a trusting heart. 2-3 months later 2 more diamonds fall out. Ryan fixes them and a week after getting my ring, another falls out. I have been trying to get ahold of Ryan for the last month to discuss why this has happened since paying so much to fix everything this summer. He won't return my calls. I have called every location and left my name and number for him to return my calls. It makes me wonder if he ever did what he said he fixed this summer. When speaking to his associates, they say that Ryan knows I want him to call me back, but he says to just mail my ring in (I live in Arizona). I refuse to do so. I have been nice, I have tried to give him a chance to make this right and now I'm just done with them. I want everyone who is looking for a long term jeweler, to not trust this place. I took in a ring asking for a quote to have it repaired. I also took in a necklace for repair. I received a voice massage from Ryan on Friday with a quote for the ring repair, asking me to let him know if I wanted it done. I went into the shop on Monday. The necklace was not repaired. Ryan asked me three times if I listened to the message. I told him yes each time. He seemed a little perturbed that I had come into the shop instead of calling. I went to my car and listened to his message again. I felt uncomfortable and belittled with his treatment. I called Ryan and politely explained how he made me feel. He replied that it was my fault in how I took the conversation and then told me that I was well versed in these situations. When I asked him what he meant, he said I was much older than him!! Never have I been so insulted by a business owner. And then he refused to repair my necklace. My response was, "Social Media will love this, no customer should be treated this way. " A simple apology would have be much better. Never have I been treated so poorly by a business owner. If there was zero in the ratings, Ryan would have gotten it. BE CAREFUL! They will keep your diamonds if you aren't careful. I was really excited to get my mom's engagement ring resized and made into a new ring for me. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with this place. They seem really nice when you walk in and help you out. When I went in to pick up my ring (it was supposed to be sized from an 8 to a 5 1/2) it was 1/2 a size too small. I had also noticed that I wasn't given back the diamonds that were removed to resize the ring!! I sent an email to the owner and had asked about my diamonds and it wasn't until i sent a second email (he responded to the first and said to bring the ring in to resize it) that he responded to my question about where my other diamonds were. When I took it back, an employee measured it and said it was a 5 instead even though it said 5 1/2 directly on the paper. Honestly, they would have kept my diamonds if I hadn't asked!!! Track every single diamond you have and make sure because you have to ask to get back YOUR property. read more

Not only was my ring repair extremely shoddy workmanship he was also extremely rude. I agree with another reviewer who said that she had never been treated so poorly. Do not recommend this place for anything. went in earlier for a watch adjustment which was fine however when we went back later in the day to purchase a ring i saw earlier that was decently priced that's when it went south fast. My husband is terminally ill and wanted to get this for me as one last gift from him before the time comes. the ring was priced on the Tag at $995 and my son offered to help with the purchase. when we went back they jacked the price up to almost $1500 and the clerk just kept saying they were old price tags their old price tags and at one point he just told us to leave "well bye you can leave then" this was supposed to be one last gift from my husband before he passes. if your going for simple things or willing to purchases the products their fine, but when you point out that they made a mistake and this is what the tag says or not what website says, then they will tell you to leave.
