Went to Lime this past Saturday around 1:30 PM and it was pretty busy, but the service was still quick. There's plenty of parking since it's in an outdoor shopping area with a lot of nearby businesses, so even if you don't park super close, it's not a far walk. They have $13 frozen margaritas, and I loved that the cashier let us sample them first. I ended up getting the coco colada margarita and it was SO GOOD. You can definitely taste the liquor (the way it should be ). My friend got the strawberry margarita, which she swears by since she's a regular. This was my first time visiting. You place your order, get a number, and they bring the food out to your table. I ordered the carne asada quesadilla which came with chips on the side, no complaints at all. It was well-seasoned, flavorful, and the steak actually had lots of flavor. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside since the weather was nice, and it was perfect for people watching. My only suggestion would be for staff to check and clean the outdoor tables and chairs a bit more often There was some bird poop, which wasn't a good look look. My mistake was coming on cinco de mayo to say they were extremely busy is an understatement. However, the line to order moved fast and they had seating outside that was available. The food took long, but that's understandable given the day that it was. I started with chips and queso. They have some of the best queso! This is a must when coming here. I shared the steak bowl and this was good! I also shared tacos and sadly they were soggy. There was a dj playing music and playing games in the patio seating area. I ordered the chicken quesadilla that came with chips. It came with sour cream and salsa. It was satisfying. The price was just right for the portion. Your order in the front and given a number to place your table and the staff will bring out the food once ready. In the meantime you can get prepped up with different dips they offer. I always get like a pinto beans. This location offers indoor and outdoor seating. The weather was nice so I took advantage to get a table outside to enjoy the breeze. The staff is friendly passing by to make sure you're good. Down fall ... some birds are waiting for you to leave to attack the table to get your left overs. FRESH TACOS ALERT... First time at this Lime fresh mexican grill restaurant in Pembroke Gardens. Its after 10pm on a Saturday night and the hunger pains were real and setting in. We walked back from the Pembroke Pub and observed the entire front patio of Lime was packed, so we had to try it. The front desk attendant provided us with a taco menu and we ordered 3 soft tacos for $12. Tijuana beef, bbq pork, classic beef. Holy moly, a fiesta burst of flavor in every bite. I drizzled a medium heat salsa Pico De Gallo onto each taco. For dessert, a full basket of cinnamon chips with a whip cream dip. Ate the whole basket within a few minutes, and now realize that Im in love with cinnamon and whip cream. The manager, Carlos, was very attentive while we dined and observed him helping in all sectors of the kitchen. The front of the shop and kitchen was clean and was managed very well, but unfortunately, the men's bathroom needed some TLC. Easy 4.5 star rating. read more

The Pembroke Gardens has many restaurants and bars but some stand out that I love. Lime is so good and the value is great. The food is healthy if you dont use all the sauces. Hadn't eaten here in a very long time, but fiancé and I needed to grab a quick bite before finishing up shopping. I ordered the Cantina Salad and he ordered a burrito. He said that his burrito was good and definitely enough for a mini-meal for him. Hungry and caught up in our convo, I was about to take a bite of my salad when I realized there was a massive chunk of the bowl missing. I transferred the salad to another container and did try to eat a few bites of it, but ultimately just threw it away. My husband and I were in Lime recently for lunch. I had a craving for Mexican food. We ordered the fajitas which I have never had there, and we decided to split it between us. William, the assistant manager was there helping us out, he brought us and extra bowl since we were sharing and made sure we had everything we needed. The salsa bar was clean and full, the restaurant in general looked to be clean and organized.. We did not have to wait long for our food and the fajitas were delicious and enough for us both. I placed an order and only received about a quarter of it, then I had to wait. When I went to inform them, the manager didn't even look at me or acknowledge the issue. The only person who helped me was one of the employees. The food was cold and the chips were clearly old. Overall, the service was very poor and the quality of the food was terrible and has definitely declined. Being located in such a popular place like The Shops at Pembroke Gardens, they should care much more about customer service, food quality, and overall attention to customers. Very poor experience. The portion size was big, a lot of dryness. Then I went inside to get some sauces (they do have several inside) and unfortunately they were not to my personal taste. We also got a taco salad and I was told it was ok. Not memorable but good... The location is Excelent, they offer a happy hour from 4-6 pm and I've seen this place fill up well, so it may be just a fluke, or I may be hard to please... so do come by to have some tacos! The staff was friendly as could be, explained how the numbering system and food-to-table delivery worked, etc. The menu has a mix of tacos, bowls, salads, etc.; something for everyone, even a small kids menu. I opted for the Porkito, which is a pork burrito, but since I didn't want the flour tortilla, I asked if I could have it as a bowl instead; it was great! The bowl had a smoky flavor, a little bit of sweet BBQ sauce drizzled on, small bits of bacon, and rice and beans. All entrees come with chips, and there's a small self-serve sauce station with lines and cilantro, too. For a fast casual spot, the quality and quantity are spot on. This location just isn't good. I remember eating Lime years ago in Miami and was excited when this location opened up near my house. After visiting a few times here, I am just not coming back. The food quality here is bad. Chips are stale. Queso is so watered down, almost impossible to "scoop" with chips. The proteins here are bland. The flour tortillas taste and have the texture of being left out for days; dry and broken. Tacos and burritos are just underwhelming in flavor. I need to douse them with salsa.
