The food here is spectacular! The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food. I ordered the huarache de carnitas and it was so fresh and flavorful. The service here was amazing our server was very kind and attentive. He made sure we had water and our chips were refilled. Finally the restaurant itself was very authentic. Definitely had a Mexican feel to it

As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by our server, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food, and it was absolutely delicious. The Mexican artwork and the music playing in the background made it feel like you were dining at a restaurant in Mexico.

Tucked away in west pines you'll find this traditional mexican spot. Lets get down to it, the food tastes good. The salsa verde was better than the salsa roja so def ask for more of that. I got the chicken fajitas as pictured and the chicken was a bit dry and lacked seasoning i had to spruce it up with lime and salsa verde to get the flavor. The birria taco was full of flavor so definitely get those. The bathroom specifically women's bathroom was disgusting and had a smell of sewage in there which anyone who walked in was hit with that smell, i hope they take care of that asap.

First time coming, nice setting costumer service excellent Jose was very helpful very friendly his excellent. We were five and he recommendations we're excellent, Food was Súper delicious, I ordered the enchiladas con salsa verde with beans and yellow rice my kids got a taco platter that comes with 10 tacos everything was on point and for sure we're going back again and with this place so close to home . We don't have to go far to get great Mexican food. I Fully recommend it to those who know about Mexican cuisine. Great food, Great ambience , Great costumer Service and the most Great food!

So must say the service here is spectacular , they treat you excellent here and really try their best to take care of you . I came here based on the yelp reviews , clean restaurant , with plenty of seating . Must say I was disappointed with the food . My flautas were very dry , and the birria tacos were just ok . I wish I could do 3.5 stars but I can't so I must give it a 3 .

Great tasting food, family atmosphere...Service is a little slow so be patient. Portions are very nice. I ordered the birria tacos and was surprised to get 4 instead of the usual 3. The Birria consomé was very tasty

Went again on a Saturday night. The food was amazing as always and we had the same amazing server. I didn't know this until we arrived, but on Saturday nights they have karaoke with a host and some speakers and lights. I had a great time listening to (some actually really great) people sing but it was LOUD, so if that's not your thing I'd say to come a different night. But, if you're looking to have fun, it was great!

The food is great, finally a very good Mexican style restaurant in West Pembroke Pines! Pork Pozole Burritos great flavor and size. Salsas all delicious, including guacamole.

There were seven of us for Taco Tuesday, and from the moment we sat down, our waitress seemed irritated that she had to serve our table. We ordered quickly because we already knew what we wanted. I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. As the banner on the app says, MEXICAN FOOD MADE WITH LOVE, and our visit proved it.

When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.
