We went to Las Cazuelas for Taco Tuesday. They had an array of tacos (except the seafood ones) available for a discounted price ($3, I think) all day. They also has a selection of margaritas and also offered Michelada and Cheladas (very refreshing). Unfortunately the happy hour ended at 6 and we missed it, but the prices were reasonable. Overall, Las Cazuelas is a cozy place with authentic food and drinks, and the servers really go out of their way to accommodate you. It is definitely a place I would go back to another Tuesday. read more

The food here is spectacular! The restaurant serves authentic Mexican food. I ordered the huarache de carnitas and it was so fresh and flavorful. Tucked away in west pines you'll find this traditional mexican spot. Lets get down to it, the food tastes good. The salsa verde was better than the salsa roja so def ask for more of that. I got the chicken fajitas as pictured and the chicken was a bit dry and lacked seasoning i had to spruce it up with lime and salsa verde to get the flavor. The birria taco was full of flavor so definitely get those. The bathroom specifically women's bathroom was disgusting and had a smell of sewage in there which anyone who walked in was hit with that smell, i hope they take care of that asap. read more

First time coming, nice setting costumer service excellent Jose was very helpful very friendly his excellent. We were five and he recommendations we're excellent, Food was Súper delicious, I ordered the enchiladas con salsa verde with beans and yellow rice my kids got a taco platter that comes with 10 tacos everything was on point and for sure we're going back again and with this place so close to home . Went again on a Saturday night. The food was amazing as always and we had the same amazing server. I didn't know this until we arrived, but on Saturday nights they have karaoke with a host and some speakers and lights. I had a great time listening to (some actually really great) people sing but it was LOUD, so if that's not your thing I'd say to come a different night. But, if you're looking to have fun, it was great! read more

So happy to have found a great casual Mexican joint near home. This place is tucked away in a strip mall in west Pembroke Pines. Small and quaint and oh such good food. Service was equally friendly and attentive. We were served by Jose and he was really great. Had the Michioacan chicken which was delicious and plentiful. Their refried beans and Mexican rice were on point as well. The complimentary salsa was also a winner. Take the time to visit Jose and the crew if you want to have a big plate of authentic Mexican deliciousness. read more

Second time here and it was again amazing. We were five and we were all enjoyed our food. So delicious. Great portions! Service was great. Coldest beer in town and the margaritas were just right. Nice ambiance. They were playing Mexican music loud enough to hear but low enough to enjoy a conversation without yelling over it. The place is super clean including the restrooms. My wife and I stopped at La Cazuelas to have dinner this afternoon and we do have to say it was great service and better yet great food. Very good service from the server , he suggested the Jamaica drink which was excellent, and my wife had the passionfruit which it tasted great. Both refreshing drinks. Previous reviewers are correct! Gustavo is attentive, takes the time to answer and explain all questions, and so gracious. I was so hungry I forgot to take pics to post! Next time. Freshly made chips and salsa were yum! Menudo was so good! Already need to come back for it! Margarita was likely the best I've had in years!!And California burrito delicious... not full of rice. So l decided to order from this establishment and.on the first order, it was just ok. Gave a second chance. Second order, the beef thripe soup was missing some thripe apparently and very small for price. Then the quesadillas had so much burn on the meat and seasoning, l had to be wiping them off with tissue paper. The burn was even on the pita and you could smell it. Left a message for manager. Ordered the mixed fajitas and chicken nachos. Both were delicious. Meat was super tender, and everything was very flavorful. Their house salsa verde is terrific and a little bit spicy, so great to pour over everything. Thrilled this place opened up in our neck of the woods! So this place is exactly what I've been waiting for, good priced Mexican food that tastes great! The service was speedy and my waitress was very welcoming and explained the specials for the day and helped me pick what I wanted. The inside is admittedly a little dated looking but this is where looks can be deceiving, don't judge the book by it's cover after all. Over all I'd def recommend and will be coming back read more

I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

Well, I enjoyed the one I ate up before this one can only be called outstanding. Nearly everything about it was perfect. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and well arranged. The food is fresh delicious creative and well priced. The service is generally pretty good although I did think it suffered a bit because I was seated in the bar area and it was understaffed for that particular area that day. This did not affect the overall experience. The all you can eat menu is good, missing only a few items like Uni. But for the price point is beyond adequate. The a la carte menu was also quite good and unlike their other restaurant, my wife who does not have nearly the appetite that I do was not forced to order all you could eat as well when sitting at the same table. This was a huge selling point for me. One of the best things about this particular restaurant is that they serve sashimi as well as sushi. As such without filling up on rice, I was able to sample a lot of different items and I have to say there were no disappointments. Things like scallops and sweet shrimp were a bit smaller than I am accustomed to, but were delicious. The rolls were beautifully done, including a wonderful rainbow Naruto roll which I would highly recommend. The sashimi was served in an absolutely beautiful tray which you can see in the attached video. Other all you can eat sushi restaurants simply do not do things like this. Total standout in presentation. Service is excellent in food. All came out relatively quickly considering it was quite crowded that day. There was nothing that I did not enjoy completely. In fact, in several instances, I ordered more of the same thing. I tried a couple of specialty rolls in a hand roll and each of them was expertly prepared and well beyond my expectations. The dessert choices are few, but they did have green tea ice cream, which is what I wanted so I cannot complain. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. When I say closer to my home, it is still almost an hour away, but as well worth the drive and I think I will be going often. I love sushi and to find a place that serves all you can eat at a reasonable price and delivers this high-quality great taste and good service deserves my frequent visits.

I don't often submit reviews , but I felt compelled to support this west pines gem. The service was warm, hospitable, and went above and beyond what you expect from a restaurant these days: I watched a waiter walk his guests out to the curb, that same waiter told me he hoped I enjoyed my takeout order. I did. We tried a burrito, tostadas, enchiladas, and flautas, and all were very good . We ordered tamarind and maracuya juice and enjoyed as well.
