Husband and I wanted Mexican to kick off our summer vacation dinner. Decided to go to Tijuana Taxi Co since it was the first time in a few years we've been there. To drink we had a margarita with Don Julio and the frozen sangria Rita. Both were delicious but sorry no photo. The waitress brought the house chips and salsa to the table which tasted wonderful. We ordered the carne asada tacos and the beef burrito. Let me tell you we were pleasantly surprised that how delicious the food was. We have since talked about how we would go back and try other things on the menu. The ambience was great. There was music playing. They had TVs all over the place with different sports. Definitely a nice spot for dinner.

Loved it! My friends (11) and I had a great time. The food was delicious and plentiful! We ordered multiple dishes and each one was great! The atmosphere was lively with upbeat music. Our server, Taina, was AWESOME. I'm sure I'm spelling her name wrong-sorry! The manager Kellie is absolutely WONDERFUL! Every establishment should have a manager like Kellie. Kellie was very accommodating, patient and kind!!!

Enjoyed this bowl of chicken enchilada soup after some holiday shopping. They also have it in cup version if you want less. Comes with crackers unless you refuse them. Nice to see Tina. Happy Festivus to the rest of us. This was at Tijuana Taxi Co. in Davie. If you passed Target and Publix, it's on your right. If you got to Walmart, you went too far.

Came in as a last-minute decision while we were in the area. Service was really nice. We were with my small poodle and the staff helped direct us to the back patio instead of the front patio since he's not a service dog. It was nice to have the space in the back to ourselves unintentionally. They were so kind and gave us a Styrofoam bowl for our pup to have a drink. Mia helped us and we tried her suggestion to be a little bit adventurous and tried the chicken Parm quesadilla. It came with a little bit of marinara sauce on the side dash a very nice delightful surprise. Good ambience good service happy with our visit.

We had a group lunch here with about 8 of us in all. We were greeted upon arrival and seated inside at a high top joined table. The place was packed due to the time I suppose but that didn't take away from the service. The server took our drink orders first. I wanted a sweet tea but they only had raspberry and unsweetened so I went with unsweetened. After we received our drinks, they brought chips and salsa for the table and we ordered our food. I had only been to another location once so I had to look over the extensive menu. They offered a little of something for everyone. This included burgers and ribs , which was surprising to me. Someone from the group ordered the ribs and seemed to like them well enough. I ordered the taco salad with steak. The food took a while but was expected because of the crowd. Everyone received their food about the same time. Everything was hot and I was ready to eat! My taco salad was as expected and the steak was nicely cooked. The portion seemed adequate and filling. Mostly everyone finished their meals with the exception of two. Overall, I would eat here again. They offer specials during the week except Friday and even the weekend. They have Happy Hour as well during the week.

Came here on a Friday around 6:00 PM and the inside of the restaurant looked pretty busy but the outside was not. We decided to sit inside because of the rain, and although they were busy we got seated pretty quickly. However, the service was pretty slow. We only saw our waitress when she was giving us our food. Even though the service was slow, the food came out pretty fast. I ordered the taco salad and I should have removed the lettuce because it got soggy because of all the stuff inside the taco shell and I didn't know it had a little spice to it until I took my first bite. It didn't taste bad though. I had been craving birria tacos and the taste was alright. Not great, but not bad either. My boyfriend ordered the Enchiladas Pueblo and it was delicious. I liked it better than my order. It was creamy and cheesy and full of flavor. The table comes with free chips and salsa (only for party's of no more than 4) and we also ordered the chips with queso dip. Both of these were delicious. The bowl with chips looks small, but it will definitely fill you up. I like salty chips and these chips met my expectations. I wasn't impressed by my order or the service. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because it was a busy Friday evening. Maybe I have to give it another try because I did like the enchiladas and the chips.

We loved the Rattlesnake tacos! We loved the big ass carnitas burrito! The complimentary chips and salsa is always hittin. We like sitting on the patio with beautiful views of the Marathon gas station. The daily specials are enticing, tried the Taco Tuesday once and the Wednesday rib night sounds good but haven't explored it yet. Service is kind and fast! Always a good time here.

This is our go to neighborhood restaurant. Food is always delicious, service is friendly and fast, and the setting is casual and fun. They have different specials for each day of the week, and they probably make the best salmon in town. Blackened or grilled, as part of a salad or as an entree with any sides you choose, it is always perfectly seasoned and cooked.

Went on cinco de mayo to enjoy the festivities in the afternoon. Steady busy as usual, but free sombrero to wear that add to the fun ambiance. They had a special margarita blend for cinco de mayo only which was excellent. The food was even better this time than before sample platters & enchiladas.

The food was delicious The strawberry margaritas are very sweet The quesadillas look good and the vegetable burrito had more broccoli than rice and beans Customer service and bartenders are okay The ambiance is fun

Does Tijuana Taxi in Davie still have a separate lunch menu? There isn't one on their website, and all of the menu pictures on Yelp are more than a year old.

Due to the pandemic they told me they don't have a lunch "menu" special.

It's nice that you got that all for free. We like to do that and then get enchiladas to go. Which we did(along with some tacos as well). It was a nice stop in, just wish we had one closer to home.

It had an average amount of people sitting around at the bar area eating and drinking. There was a man at the bar taking orders for take-out. I sat at the bar and he came over and took my order. I ordered Mahi tacos and a small order of the tuna dip for later. I was too hungry to drive home so as soon as I got in the car. He had placed all the food in a takeout bag and put a knot at the top. I untied the bag and reached in. They had given me a bag of tortilla chips for the tuna dip. Without removing the container from the bag (because I don't eat in my car honestly), I opened the styrofoam which held the tacos, grabbed one taco, took a bite and put it back in the container. I needed a taste before I headed home and it was good to be honest. Then I grabbed the tuna dip, placed it on my center console and reached into the takeout bag for the clear bag of tortilla chips. As soon as I lifted the bag, I saw that there was a cockroach holding on to the bag! I immediately panicked and tossed the bag across the car to the floorboard of the passenger side. I immediately regretted that though because my car is brand new and now there is a cockroach in it. Now I'm gagging because I just bit into the fish taco and swallowed!! I immediately went to the vacuum to vacuum every crevice of my car that the vacuum would fit into. Then I went and got Combat Baits and placed them under the seats. I'm pissed!!!!!! I don't even want to drive in my car right now. I didn't eat the food at all. Lost my appetite completely and threw it in the dumpster near the vacuum. Firstly, I have a severe phobia for cockroaches and what if it was pregnant?!! I will NEVER, EVER SET FOOT INSIDE OF THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!!! I am MORTIFIED!!!! I AM DISGUSTED
