I have to give one star... because that's my only choice. This was a take out order, or I would have sent it back to the kitchen. We tried to eat it, the bag was as heavy when we put the food back in as when I left the store. Tempted to take it back, but I don't have time. I ordered Orange Chicken. Long story short: for an Asian restaurant located in Wyoming, it's bearable. My family and I stopped by this place for dinner on our drive back to California from Mt. Rushmore. We ordered the roasted duck and beef pho. The duck was cooked quite well, but we were pretty disappointed that 3/4 of it was bones. I'm used to eating ducks with lots of flesh, but I had barely anything to bite off of. The only things I could swallow down were minimal flesh and the crispy skin. $13.95 wasn't really worth what you get. As for the pho, the noodle was quite tasty, the broth was quite nice as well. What we were bit sad about was how the bean sprouts weren't fresh. They looked at least a week old, and the servers didn't provide a lot of it either. I honestly think when it comes to pho, mung bean sprouts should be generously provided. But then again, our expectations were a bit low, since this is Wyoming where Asian population is quite low. It's a decent place to eat, but I wouldn't eat there every time if it was in a place like California or New York. read more

Pretty good place if you're hankering for Asian foods in eastern Wyoming. My dad and I were passing by Casper on our way from Devil's Tower to Rock Springs and we found this place on yelp. There was a big selection of many dishes including pho. We ordered egg drop soup (came out a bit salty), General Tao's Chicken (quite saucy), and Snow Peas with Prawns (tasty vegetables). They gave us extra rice when we asked. Servings were a tad too big for us, but not heaping. Service was very welcoming. A waitress forgot our soup but they immediately brought it out with any fuss. Ordering takeout was the worst decision I've made involving Lime Leaf. Sitting in is great for most things. Excellent service. But there are no vegetables. Not in the egg rolls, dumplings, or fried rice. The fried rice barely had egg; it was as if they threw soy sauce on overcooked, mushy rice. Speaking of overcooked, they somehow managed to overcook everything, even though it felt rushed. Not enough shrimp in the shrimp dishes, weird sesame chicken, and terribly bland curry. This place is only getting two stars because my husbands meal was half way decent. He had Kung pao chicken. I had what they called orange chicken as I had been craving it for weeks. Great service and delicious Chinese food! The servers are super friendly. Their food comes out hot and always has a lot of flavor and texture. It's not horribly priced and delivery doesn't take too long. Parking can be a pain sometimes but inside their restaurant is nice and peaceful. This is my go to Chinese food restaurant. read more

They use a vinaigrette dressing instead of fish sauce which was different. My sis wasn't crazy about her orange chicken, she said it was not flavorful and dry. My mom enjoyed her shrimp delight though. Overall, it was good. Didn't appreciate that the Waiter kept rushing us to order though. Um. Some of the best Asian food in Casper, WY!? Uh, yes, actually! Yum. I had a garlic shrimp dish that was fabulous. Shrimp was perfect, sauce was light and fresh tasting, veggies were wonderful. Boyfriend had the Bún with wonderful grilled pork, so fresh and amazing. Wow, just really reallly good. The pork and the noodles were outstanding. Service was sweet and quick. Still loving the Lime Leaf! Our local Casper Cash Mob group "mobs" a restaurant in town every week on Wednesday and this week it was Lime Leaf. My husband and I went there for dinner. We had wonton soup with meat (wor wonton) and I had the Salt and Pepper calamari appetizer as my dinner plate. My husband ordered the sweet and sour shrimp with a side of steamed rice. There was so much left over we took it home and shared our leftovers with the step son. He said it was the best Oriental food he's ever eaten! *** The people that own Lime Leaf also own House of Sushi downtown and Lai Tai restaurant (also downtown Casper) All three eateries are fabulously consistent serving up great food and wonderful service. read more

We often choose Lime Leaf for take out when we are in an Asian mood. I usually order the Seseme Chicken which is fantastic but last week I tried the Szchewan Chicken extra spicy & I was very pleased. The food has always been great and I don't mind paying a few extra dollars here compared to other local Asian eats because it is worth it in taste. Lime Leaf has the BEST Hot & Sour soup in Casper I think! Fresh tasting with tiny minced chives- absolutely the best cure for a cold! Love it! read more

You would hope that with four stars and almost 100 reviews that the food would be decent. It was anything but. The Pad Thai tasted like sweet and sour ketchup. The coconut curry smelled so foul I almost puked. The broccoli beef was just so so...edible enough for hungry children. Boy, did we laugh about that, later. We asked around, and heard from the locals that one of the best places for meat in town was Outback. No thanks. This place was good for the first year or two it was open... The last 3 or 4 times I've been here, the food has become terrible. The broth in my Pho has been flavorless, just... Salty water... The accompaniments have been half rotten and the meat in the Pho tasted freezer-burnt. I would give a zero. I ordered delivery of the grilled chicken shrimp with a side of hot and sour soup last Thursday January 23rd. My family has been patronizing this restaurant for years and years. On Friday morning I woke up feeling nauseous and through out the day became more ill. Well into Saturday I was vomiting cramping and locked in the bathroom for the next 14 hours. Yep, food poisoning. I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager and her reply was flu is going around. I told her I knew the difference and it was not flu but either Samonila or Ecoli poisoning. I was VERY disappointed by my visit here. I was on vacation and I saw all the good reviews on here and thought I couldn't miss it. Boy I wish I did. In my hometown there are many authentic Asian restaurants. This looked that way and it was far from. The Pho selection was very basic. They had none of the good things I like about like tendon, tripe etc...just slices of meat. My wife ordered her dish as spicy as they had and it was so mild my 10 year old didn't even notice it was spicy. The service was slow and attentive. Okay, I know I am in Casper, Wy, so I should not expect much from Asian cuisine like we get in the S.F. bay area. I was surprise that the food was better than I expected. But the bottom line is the food was not worth the money, IMHO. The portions did not match the price and the food was certainly nothing special to warrant the cost. I had the vermicelli bowl with shrimp, pork and egg rolls. There was lots of lettuce and noodles but slim on the "good stuff". The shrimp was small, over cooked and did not stand out in flavor. It was the same with the egg rolls, small and not very flavorful. The pork was tender but nothing special. The bowl cost $12. I have had this same dish at other Vietnamese restaurants and they had much more flavor for around $8. If you are ever in Brentwood, CA, try Pho Vietnam, 622 1st Street, then you will understand what I am talking about. My wife had the Szechuan chicken which comes with a small bowl of rice. It had fresh tasty ingredients but the portions were small compared to the $12 cost. She was able to eat the whole thing and she usually cannot finish dishes like this. The good thing was the dishes used fresh ingredients and the seasoning was good. I'm just used to getting better food at a three quarters the price. But for Casper this was probably great. I am very disappointed with my experience with the food here. First off their food is way over priced for the quality they are providing. I choose to try this place out anyways because they had decent reviews. I got my food delivered to my house and everything looked in order. I then open my fried rice and I'm immediately hit with a smell similar to vomit. My stomach turned, I forced myself to even try the other food. The Mongolia beef was not impressive and the lo mein was alright. To say I'm very frustrated is an understatement. I've wasted almost $40 on something that wasn't worth more than $25.
