    Drunken Noodle
    Gabrielle E.

Service was very friendly & food was amazing. I opted for the Wonton Soup since it was cold outside and it was very fresh. I went with the shrimp drunken noodles for my main dish which was enough for two meals. I also tried the Thai version of an espresso martini and I think I prefer that version from now on

Such a cute place. Sushi roll and milk tea was delicious start to lunch. Would totally go back, prices perfect, love Decatur.

The cheese rolls here are some of the best ever but you should also try their appetizer sampler because they're all so good. The pad see ew never disappoints. Service here is also quick and friendly. Great place to check out for an affordable sit down meal in downtown Decatur.

Vegetable Spring Rolls Dinner- we weren't crazy about them but I just don't think they're our thing.

Solid Thai option in the Decatur square. The place it decorated cute, is relatively small, and plays great r&b jams on low (at least they were when I went on a Friday night). It would be great for a casual girls night out or lowkey date. I had the drunken noodles with chicken and enjoyed it. Got spice level 2 which says "little to medium" but it felt more like medium. Hubby got pad see ew with shrimp and liked it but said they only gave him 6-7 small shrimp. We both brought leftovers home- good portions! Parking: street parking around downtown Decatur, free after 6pm.

The service was speedy and friendly, the food and drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was very cozy. I had the pineapple curry with shrimp, which was flavorful and a a nice kick to it. The lychee martini was potent and paired perfectly with the lowlights and ambiance. This was my first visit but I will definitely be bs me to try more menu items.

[Uber eats order] Second time ordering here and I got the green curry. I paid a little extra to have tofu and veggies and I think the servings were fair. I asked for some additional spice (+2 I believe) and it was the perfect level for me. The broth was a good consistency and had the herb-forward flavor that I expect out of a green curry. It's comparable to many places I've tried around town. A good choice when in the area.

Tried Siam Thai for the first time and ordered the Pad See Ew to go. The noodles were pretty good--nice flavor, not too greasy. Good first impression, and I'd definitely be interested in trying more from the menu next time!

I came here for the first time and was so excited to see I could order Pad Thai made gluten free. It was delicious and came out pretty fast after I ordered. The staff was great, prices are reasonable, there is lots of seating inside and it is in a good location in Decatur. Definitely recommend a visit if you like Thai food!

I've never had a bad meal here. When we can't decide what to eat, it always ends up being Siam Thai. We normally split an order of coconut shrimp and steamed dumplings. I always order either pad Thai, pad woon sen, or pad se ew. He always orders the Uncle Bob (lightly battered chicken glazed with savory honey garlic on vegetables. Served with steamed white rice) with every part of the dish separate. It's always delicious and we always end up ordering more dumplings to go. The drinks are also very good. They have a fully stocked bar and do a good pour. The service is great. They really believe in teamwork, and it's obvious that everyone gets along pretty well. They help to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I love that this is my go to Thai spot and look forward to frequenting it again this year.

    Lychee martini & old fashion

The food was decent. I enjoyed the chili ginger sauce but the chicken was way too rough and hard to chew. My partner had fried rice with steak but we're not use to steak looking so lightskinned. For an item with such high reviews, I expected for it to be packed with flavor... it was blan. We added the sauce from my dish to his and it made a huge difference. The customer service was good and it's a cute spot in the downtown Decatur area. I read good things about this spot so I would actually give it another try and order different dishes. They also have really good strong drinks. We had the lychee martini & old fashion. Next time I'll try the Thai tea.

Siam has been a favorite for years. The location is perfect to meet a friend, window shop then enjoy a light but hardy lunch. The food is fresh, and service is quick- very attentive staff and the menu has many sharable options. Order a pot of jasmine tea to easy any anxiety.

Drunken Noodles with Chicken (Lunch Menu)

Stopped in today as we were looking for lunch. We were greeted promptly and seated. They bought us the menus and waters. Nice environment, staff is friendly. We ordered steamed chicken dumplings with a chili sauce. I asked the waiter what he preferred between the Drunken Noodles or Pad See Ew Noodles, he recommended the Drunken Noodles. My friend ordered the house soup and loved it. The Chicken dumplings with there sauce was tasty. My drunken noodles were good but definitely sweet, overly sweet. A lot of chicken. Even though it was sweet still tasted good.

I was seriously impressed with this place. Especially the basil fried rice with chicken. The portion was HUGE! Definitely enough to share between two people. My friend and I sat at the bar and the waiter was very kind and attentive. We ordered two espresso martinis that were strong and delicious. Definitely coming back here when I'm in town.

Decent food for the price point but stay away from the shrimp. It was not fresh. I ended up picking it out and just eating the pad thai.

Items requested wasnt brought out. Had to chase het down for refills. Had a slight attitude because I informed her the water glasses that were sitting in the table were visibly dirty and thats the reason I turned the empty glasses upside down. She had to wander all over the restaurant to look for clean glasses that she removed for unoccupied tables. I watched her later collect 8 tables worth of dirty glasses lol but she gave me the attitude like I was nit picky person lol its all good I chuckled myself and didnt hold it against her. I was vindicated when I watched her scurrying around and couldn't immediately find clean glasses. The restaurant had 2 parties finishing up. Not busy at all. Food: 3 stars; we only came here because THAICOON (around the corner) was closing. I highly recommend thaicoon, ive been going since 2008. The California roll was decent, the shrimp spicy basil fried rice was good and i was impressed they didnt skimp on the shrimp, the coconut chicken soup was good. The star of the show for me was the sweet tea. The food wasnt bad but it didnt knock our socks off either, it could've used more seasoning. It's more like commercial Thai vs authentic Thai. Price point: 2 stars: the items I described above came to roughly $53, totally not worth it! Lol the portion size didnt match the price point. At thaicoon i wouldve paid $46 for the same items. Maybe $7 isn't a big difference to alot of you but that extra $7 there wouldve gotten me an appetizer at thaicoon or i could've put another $10 with it and got another dish. Cleanliness: 3 stars: 3 tables needed bussing, dirty water glasses ob several tables lol, they was having a rough night. Overall; I wouldnt come back if thaicoon is open. If thaicoon was closed and i really wanted thai food i would maybe give them another try. I wasnt bad and im not trying to slam them, my dinning experience couldve been better. Plus side is they do validate your parking ticket if you park in the garage. I would give them a solid 3 stars, had the portion sizes been a tad bigger or cheaper, or had the service been better i wouldve given them 4 stars.

We stopped in as a group of three. All of us tried variants of Pho --- all excellent. We also tried fresh Spring and Fried rolls --- very tasty. This is first Vietnamese restaurant I've ever visited that does not skimp on the slices of fresh beef in Pho. All the ingredients are remarkably fresh and tasty. If you visit in the winter months and get cold easily, sit in the booths. During our visit, overhead air ducts were pushing out cold air on the chairs and tables situated in the center of the restaurant and it became uncomfortable for us after sitting for more than 30 minutes. Go and enjoy. You won't be disappointed. The food here is excellent. I wish this place was near our home!

I got the nem nuong rolls and a small pho. The food came out fairly quickly. The rolls were really thick but honestly a little too much vermicelli and the pork wasn't very flavorful. The pho was decent but definitely not a lot of beef balls in it and the broth was on the sweeter side. We were never checked up on during our whole dining experience. So the service was lacking in my opinion. Thought the pho was decent but definitely better options out there.

I have never in my life had Americanized Thai food (or at least been conscience of it) but this tasted every bit of that. Not a single Thai national or descendant cooking or dining in here... I should have slid out the door upon noticing this but we were HONGRY and this place was walking distance. I appreciate the big portions to help alleviate the hunger, but the food going down wasn't even close to a real Thai experience. And the general ambience was definitely off. It's unclear whether this is a casual to-go spot or a sit-down spot or a bar. The service here was confusing. You have to order drinks separately from your food, for one. Secondly, it took a solid 10 minutes for a bartender to walk behind the bar and begrudgingly explain to me what they have available. I would have ordered more but her attitude made me close the tab after one beer. We didn't get served water until after we received our food, a solid 15-20 min after being in the restaurant. It generally felt like no one wanted to be there, and the staff were just moving independently to complete tasks instead of creating a dining experience *together*. There was not a smile from a single person I interacted with. I'd most likely not return purely because the dining experience is just plain out uncomfortable. On to the food. Mostly oil and noodles except for the papaya salad, which was... okay. Again, big portions. Nice heat. But just okay. The whole cherry tomatoes on top were a little weird and screamed laziness. The tofu kee mao was... okay. Same for the chicken pad thai. Lots of oil. This food made us feel pretty tired after eating it, which I've rarely experienced eating Thai cuisine. And they were very, very stingy with the protein. My husband counted 4-5 little slivers of chicken and hella noodles. The same was true for my tofu dish. I mean... it's tofu y'all. Cheap. But I can imagine they have to cut these corners because there were about 8 staff members running around in a small space with only a few customers in for happy hour. They do have HH deals on drinks depending on the day, but I found the drinks to be overpriced and not worth it. Especially the beer. And a $10 non-alcoholic cocktail is wild imo, especially for the scanty area this area is in. They are certainly milking the fact that they are in eyeshot of the Mercedes Benz stadium. The inside is beautiful and very ~trendy~ and honestly that tells me exactly where the focus is. I'd rate this a 2, but I'm adding a star for the spotless restrooms.
