The refrigerator was housed inside a cabinet that looked like someone had tried to take it apart with a hammer. There were no towels, the room keys didn't work, the towel bar in the bathroom was ripped off the wall and the carpeting was stained and felt damp. When I spoke to the Asst. Manager, she showed me a room across the hall that was just as bad. There was trash overflowing from the trash cans outside, the security doors to the outside were broken and propped open with dirty towels. The real kicker was when we got up the next morning and found a large cockroach in the bathroom. We refused to stay a second night and had to fight to get our money refunded. Our bank was able to get our refund since the manager of this hovel refused to take my calls and discuss our issues. Also, there were signs posted that they don't let locals stay here so I guess someone brought their gas grill, their basketball hoop and all the kids bikes and toys on vacation! We no longer stay in any Choice Hotels since they refused to assist us with our complaints regarding this location.

It would have been nice to have electrical outlets on both sides of the bed but that didn't take away much from the experience. The gift shop was nicely stocked with plenty of fun items, Huckleberry's Tavern was a fine place for an alcoholic beverage and snack, and had one of the tastiest breakfasts ever at Huckleberry's Restaurant. The pond had lovely Every member of the staff that we interacted with were kind and pleasant. We weren't too far from all that we wanted to do and we knew that we'd be coming back to a very unique, fun, hotel room. Definitely a winner!

When looking for hotels in the area the Fulton Steamboat Inn came up. We were very intrigued from the moment we saw it online. Wow, we were not disappointed. We arrived at night and as soon as we rounded the corner and pulled in all three of us said "wow". It was that beautiful! A steamboat designed hotel inside and out! There's a small lake with ducks, a playground, a fire pit area, and a nice seating area. They have a restaurant on sight, but we did not eat there. They also have a small gift shop. They did a great job at keeping things looking clean. The free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies were a nice touch. They had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas. We plan to stay there the next we are in town. We have already recommended the place to several people!

The food was absolutely amazing, with so many delicious options to choose from. I even tried crème brûlée French toast for the first time, and it was so good! If you ever get the chance to eat there, I highly recommend it. The restaurant itself is beautiful. As soon as you walk in, it's bright, welcoming, and incredibly spacious. The atmosphere made the experience even better. From an unforgettable show to an amazing meal, it was a wonderful day filled with great food, great fellowship, and great memories. So we had all you could eat breakfast in the main hotel. It we as nice we did that twice. This time we were able to stay at the Carriage House on the platform it was so nice. I think that it was a new section. We normally stay in the carriage which is equally nice. We had breakfast in the new restaurant it was amazing it was all you can eat. The food was great the staff was friendly. There were stores in the foyer area outside the restaurant. If you go to Sight and Sound definitely give it a stay you can Literally walk to the theater from the hotel. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

We loved the wet bar that is included in the room as well and the large windows. They offer a free breakfast that includes several options including made to order eggs. When in the area we always go out of our way to stay here.
