We saw no mention anywhere that an additional 4% transparency fund fee would be added to our bill, which in hindsight, I should have demanded it be removed. Their use of the term 'transparency fund' is an oxymoron, because you don't see it coming. In a response to another review I left, the owner claims there are notices posted in multiple places, however, we never saw any of them. Besides, how many people search for notices of hidden fees when going out for a relaxing, late lunch? Shame on the owners for squeezing every penny they can get out of their customers. We almost deducted the fee from our servers tip, but recognized that would not have been fair to him. By the way, Sean, our server, is an asset to this business.
