The mains on the second page of the menu were VERY expensive and we didn't think would be worth it, so we just ordered a bunch of items off the first page of the menu (starters & street bites) which were more the type of food that we were looking for anyways. The tacos and empanadas were actually quite good, better than we were expecting for somewhere touristy. We ordered one of each and all were good. No standout, but everything was solid.

It's adjacent to Hyatt Place hotel where we stayed. Near the dolphin encounter and a block from the beach. The ambiance is warm, luscious and homey. You feel like you are in a magazine photo shoot. The service is wonderful and friendly. We went twice. The first time we were the only ones, the second time there were three parties. The food is fresh and amazing. We had their version of ceviche (so good, we ordered three times). Tacos were yummy. The cactus ice cream was an incredible culinary experience. Outstanding all around. After seating at 8:30, we did not get any food until 9 pm, one hour after our reservation, even though everything was pre-ordered. There is no reason to pre-order if you can't get the food out in a reasonable timeframe. On top of that, we had to ask multiple times for blankets, water glasses weren't refilled, and things were forgotten. By this point, our celebrant had gotten very tired and was falling asleep waiting for all of our food. Our entrees came, and it was an extreme amount of food for 6 people. They gave us an extra entree that we did not order and they were insistent that we did. After checking our pre-order email, we did in fact only order one. The shrimp actually came with 4-5 pieces, so we didn't need two orders. While the food was great, the lack of service, bad time management, and inattentiveness to the whole meal was not appreciated. Once you get to the front door you are greeted by the hostess where you walk through a short hallway to the main bar area that is surrounded by shelves filled with pottery. This area has a cozy fire pit area for lounging and hanging out with friends and is surrounded by small tables for romantic dinners or larger tables for groups. Either way it is romantic and the backdrop is a spectacular fountain with 3 whale tails as sculptures! The music is clubby and fun! Tonight our sever was Thomas and he was so good! He greeted us shortly after we sat down and got our drink orders. . He also told us at this point all the specials for the night. We started with tonights special of Toro and added Hamachi off the menu. Those were spectacular not only in presentation but taste! and the fish extremely fresh! I sipped on one of their signature cocktails, the Applebum, made with tequila and sake infused with green apple and citrus. It was just as refreshing as it sounds. Standouts were the fried yuca stained black with squid ink to mimic charred wood and the grilled camarones in a rich red adobo sauce. The chocolate cake that mimicked ashes was art on a plate with special kudos to the pastry chef for that greek yogurt gelato. Perfect for a date night or special occasion which in my group's case was celebrating that we're alive and able to enjoy Los Cabos. Salud!

She said it was like bbq but better. I preferred my garlicy chili beef while she preferred her enchiladas so both of us couldn't have left more satisfied. A jicama rosemary juice was also on special that day and also was very good! The seating area is outside under a white canopy to allow for enjoying the gorgeous weather you came to Cabo for. Every detail is pulled together well here with the blues, whites and splash of color using fresh flowers on the tables. The server was also very attentive but not hovering.
