DO NOT COME HERE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. The cashier didn't want to give us a new drink because we didn't like one of them. It tasted overly sweet and somewhat off (expired milk maybe idk?) SO IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR DRINK THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT BUT GIVE YOU A WEIRD LOOK. Seems like the owners don't know how to manage their food costs which is why im guessing they cant give refunds because they are low on money. Stay away, there's not quality or either costumer service here, if your drink is expired, taste bad, too sweet or anything wrong with it they will just tell you they won't refunded and if you don't like it you can buy another drink. Worth the read, I really hate leaving a negative review. But sometimes you have to in order to warn others. My wife ordered a plain yogurt with three toppings, and the minute she took a bite she spat it out, she said it was expired. We went back inside to let the cashier know (who was very understanding) and she called another older woman who rolled her eyes and went on to grab a bowl and try it herself. (Which she then washed out and added with the new batch) She tried it and said it wasn't and even insisted I myself try it. I explained I was okay that all I wanted was a refund or if that was not an option something else to compensate my expense, I even gladly said I'd pay the difference if necessary. The older woman made the cashier lady call someone who was the, "owner" but ended up being the manager. That woman was very rude, asked me to wait two hours so she can show up and try it herself. (astonishing) Then said if not come back in the morning. Now, I understand it is only a yogurt but as a customer and spending $10 for something expired, that just doesn't seem right. Customer service was very unprofessional. We felt even worse because the woman was angry towards the nice cashier lady as if it was her fault. 1 star for the business, unfortunately. It's been years since I last paid this place a visit. Nothing has changed except for the way you place orders. My friend and I each ordered a drink: gen mai milk tea with boba and champagne grape tea with boba. My friend didn't like her drink, which was the gen mai milk tea. The champagne grape tea was not bad, but it was too sweet and had chunks of what tasted like grape jam. The quality of the drinks were disappointing and both drinks came out to be $10. I personally felt that the quality of the drinks did not justify the cost. I probably won't be coming here again, unless it is for the frozen yogurt, which I enjoyed from the last time I was here. Maybe it was the drinks we ordered that wasn't as good. They have a large menu of drinks so definitely give this place a try. This place is racist. This review is long overdue. I went in and looked at the menu, looked into the fridge with drinks. There was a foul rotten milk smell that hit me and I couldnt bring myself to get anything so I walked out to leave and get fresh air. The smell was nauseating. This is a nice little spot to go order from when you want something cool and refreshing! We got boba, a thai boba tea and a matcha boba slushie. Really no wait at all, line moved fast and you just wait outside for your number to be called. Very socially distanced and staff was masked up with gloves. Seems like it changed ownership. The yogurt machines access are blocked to the customers with tables & chairs so you don't serve yourself anymore. I went here every week with my mom but i will no longer be returning. I always get avocado smoothie for my mom and today we got it, it was rotten avocado. Honestly took forever to get a replacement, the employee handling my drink told me that they usually don't do exchanges even though I barely drank it. The color was even off. She repeatedly said that all there avocados are fresh yet mine was clearly rotten. This is not the first time I got a drink with something totally expired in it. When i would try their aloe vera, it would be extremely sour because it was EXPIRED. She finally gave me a new drink but it took so much arguing and explaining to do. I've been to Limon several times over the years - service is always lackluster. My last time here guaranteed I won't be back. I place an order for a slushie. After some time, Im told the order is ready. It's a completely different flavor. I politely mentioned that this order is incorrect. The staff member decides to argue, saying "no you didn't order that. This is your order!" loudly. No option to remake or anything. ***update*** Had to give it another star since my last visit I tried the lobster skewer and it was so yummy it came with 4 deep friend tasty balls on a stick with a side of plum sauce and spicy sauce. Yogurt had a good creamy consistency they have lots of good toppings and a good selection of jellies and pearls. As we sat down and had our yogurt and lobster balls many people came in especially for their pearl drinks. Next time I will try it! read more

This used to be the spot back when I was in high school, and when it was the only boba shop in the area, everyone loved it. As time passed by, I realized the business could improve on the quality of its products (not to mention the price of the froyo), but I understand that small businesses hustle hard and are tied to community, which is why I appreciate this place so much. The thing I love the most about Limon is that it is the only place I know that sells a red velvet drink with boba, and it is absolutely delicious! I have to say it's my all time favorite item. The venue is conveniently located by Contra Costa College and Helms Middle School, so I can see how business continues to thrive despite the T4 having opened up in the area. Honestly, I'd recommend coming here for smoothies/icy drinks and going to T4 for milk tea. read more

Came for lunch/a snack during a weekday holiday. Unsure if it was because it was a holiday or weekday, but service was beyond super slow. There was one person taking orders and one person making orders. You can always tell here what the wait will be like as soon as you walk in (check out the line). If the tables are all taken (another clue that the wait will be a while) it can be an awkward space to wait for your orders. Also it can be kind of warm and though the doors are usually propped open that means that flies come and go. Anyway, the boba or bubble drinks are super sweet (good if you're not pre-diabetic). I don't know if that can be changed, but I wished they asked (like some other places do) how sweet you want it. The Vietnamese sandwiches, the whole reason I even came here in the first place took even longer than the drink. I was told it would be 10 maybe 15 minutes, it ended up being closer to 30. I got my order before someone that was waiting before me. This place really needs to reconsider their operations. The food was ok, but not worth the wait. Next time if I want a sandwich I'll go to an actual restaurant. 3 stars for the drinks, 2 for the food/service. read more

(Old review); Used to come here more often in the past for boba and frozen yogurt, before T4 opened in the area. Conveniently located near my house, it was a great addition to the plaza. The place is small and has a fly or two from time to time, but it works. There isn't a big variety of frozen yogurt flavors, but it does have the staple fruity ones; which works for me. Can't say much about the service, but I never really had any issues with the owners or the cashier. In fact, I recall it used to be the same girl that worked there for quite some time. The only reason(s) for my 3 stars rating is that I personally found the drinks to be too sweet and the prices are slightly higher than other boba spots. I also love that they have mango stars as toppings since other places don't seem to have them & the cute cup lids with Chinese riddles and jokes. Overall, a good place to stop by to get a drink or a snack after grocery shopping in the area. It's quite sad to see that a lot of past customers (like myself) have switched over to T4 for boba, but I hope to stop by next time & support our local small businesses. read more

This place uses low grade and low quality products and ingredients to make their stuff. Each and every time I go here, the frozen yogurt is very runny and you could taste the stainless in it. Milk teas taste like they use nothing but sugar and water, very low quality. There's way more places in the area that you can go to and get something better for your money.
