My boyfriend loved the salad and loved the pairing of the greens, goat cheese, and walnuts together. He got the lasagna for the main and noted that there were about 12 layers beautifully stacked upon one another. My linguine was delicious and packed with seafood which was cooked perfectly. The texture of the linguine was delicious and seemed home made. Overall the food and service were excellent. I'm so glad I found a gem near my home and will be back to try more of the menu.

We had two families at the table with three little kids, ages one, two, and four, and she was so patient, funny, and genuinely wonderful with them. As parents, we rarely get the chance to go out together, and she made the night feel so easy and enjoyable. It was one of those evenings that made us wonder why we don't do this more often. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was incredibly family-friendly, and the service was exceptional. We highly recommend Antica Trattoria, and we'll definitely be back.

I asked for a to-go box, packed up our pizza, paid, and left. The pizza itself wasn't anything memorable, and combined with the rushed and inattentive service, this visit was a disappointment.

Initially, the server seemed dismissive and had a condescending tone, interrupting us frequently without letting us complete our sentences. After addressing this behavior with him, he slightly improved but still didn't fully engage with us, choosing instead to converse with his coworkers mid-order multiple times. The meal for two totaled $160, which felt steep considering the food's basic and bland nature. The seafood, in particular, did not meet our expectations for restaurant quality. Given it was restaurant week, this might explain the dip in service and food quality, but it doesn't justify a return visit from us. There are numerous Italian restaurants out there delivering exceptional service and culinary delights. Perhaps the initial service issues severely tainted my overall perception, leading to disappointment in both the dining experience and the cuisine offered. I had high hopes based on the rave reviews and their vibrant social media presence, but unfortunately, I can't recommend this place or see myself returning. read more

I chose the mushroom sauce, and it was hands down one of the best pasta dishes I've had--rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The tropical sangria was fire! We visited this quaint Italian spot for a girlfriend's birthday on a Tuesday night. The decor is charming and cozy, perfect for a casual but cute dinner out. Parking wasn't bad at all, which was a nice surprise. The food was genuinely delicious--everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared, and the drinks were just as impressive. Definitely a highlight of the night! Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The wait staff was very slow and not very attentive. We had stopped eating, ran out of drinks, and still couldn't flag anyone down to get our bill. It was frustrating and definitely affected the overall experience. Horrible. This place was not the brightest, and please read the reviews before making the mistake we did. The carbonara was so salty, yet atleast he was honest with telling us AFTER we ordered it. Do not fall for all of the hype around this place! We then tried the fettuccine thinking it would be great, yet it was a fail too just being plain and tasting like tomato sauce. Then, we thought the lasagna was gonna taste good, yet just like the restaurants name it is sour! We then got sprites, and 4$ for each which wasn't even used with a refill, and it was so flat! And the waiter even persuaded us with bread, but it was 5$ for cold bread and non-melting butter. I was exited to try this new place at la Mesa a couple of weeks ago and I did love it, but I was there yesterday and the food wasn't as good as the first time that I was there. It's been just two weeks and now something is off about it, I didn't like the way that my pasta was cooked and I do love hand made pastas, but this one was hard to chew on (not even all dente, in case you're wondering) and wasn't as flavorful as before. I'm kind of disappointed about this place now. Service was okay, and for my taste the ambience was kind of loud, I know it's a new restaurant and maybe the cooks were having a bad day at work but when you go to a restaurant that you like and you are expecting to have something that you already tried before and you get something totally different that.... The atmosphere was warm, lively, and beautifully done, and every cocktail we tried was fantastic. I ordered the slow-braised short rib and it was a 10/10, perfectly cooked and flavorful. What really made the place special, though, was our server Miguel!! The pappardelle I ordered was truly outstanding--seriously one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. But honestly, the entire evening was elevated by our server, Mateo. He was so attentive and personable, making sure we had everything we needed without ever interrupting the flow of conversation. We had a fantastic meal at Limoncello Italian Restaurant! I ordered the pulpo (octopus) and the Limoncello salad--both were absolutely delicious. The pulpo was perfectly tender with a great char, and the salad was bright, fresh, and full of flavor. Service was warm and attentive from start to finish. However, when I reached my hand out, he hesitated. I told him we don't live together (speaking of my son who was sitting next to me) and he started to hand it to me, but then pulled it back. He informed me it's in case we come back... funny, our topic of conversation that day was how hard it was for women growing up in my era and working their way up the ladder... how times have changed. Upon leaving, my guest laughed and said his wife would've gone ballistic at how the only woman at the table was treated. The GM appeared to look like we were the same age. I was quite insulted by his behavior. I hope something can be learned for my honest review. I did get a card, but I don't think I'll be back.
