She was really nice & when she thread my eyebrows she was really gentle & it didnt really hurt when it usual does when I get it done. This is one where I shouldn't have gone by the ratings. I went in and specifically told Lina I wanted my eyebrows thick. It felt like she was pulling a lot out but I trusted her since she had good ratings. She hands me the mirror and I couldn't believe it. My eyebrows are super thin and look like lines. I was so mad! Went here for eyebrow threading its really good the asian lady really know how to shape my eyebrow which cost for $7 only not bad! I tried the bikini wax its $35 pretty cheap but I won't recommend it since the lady did double dipping while doing the wax, which is not a good idea. So I suggest for bikini wax just go to a pricey but not that expensive so you will get a pretty neat wax under. Did not even get service so I can't rate the place according to the threading service. The wait service however was terrible. Went in on a saturday afternoon because I was looking for a good threading place in this area. I came in this kid on his phone asked if I was there for eyebrows I said yes. I marked on their roster that it was my first time. He didn't tell me where to go nor where to sit. I just assumed to sit in the waiting seats. About 3 minutes later another girl comes in for upper lip and he tells her to go to the other room. I was puzzled by this so I said "excuse me" about 5 times, each time with my tone escalating more and more. Until he took his face away from his phone and looked at me with the "who me?" face. I asked if I go to that same room for eyebrows and he said oh it will be just a couple of more minutes. I don't mind waiting for good eyebrows but just leaving me to figure out the place is not good customer service. I'm not expecting royalty service but please!! at least let me know what to expect!!! After having several horrible experiences at nearby salons I found this unassuming gem. There is never a wait and they take their time making sure they're doing exactly what you want and making you look your best. My eyebrows were totally screwed up from Kool Nails in Buena Park after she was lazy and took a razor to my brows and Lina has been helping me reshape my eyebrows, she doesn't overdo it and is a master at eyebrow shaping. She told me after one more visit my eyebrows will be perfect I still need to regrow a section from where they mangled me. Also it's only $6!! I first heard about Lina's Threading Salon when I was looking for a new salon to get my brows threaded. At first, my experience was very good and I was thrilled to have found a salon near my house that I can stop by quickly and have my brows done. My favorite person to thread my eyebrows would be the Indian lady (I'm not trying to be racist but I do not know her name) that works on the weekends. She is slower than Lina but I loved the end result. Her technique does hurt but it is very thorough so I imagine that is why she's slower than others. My least favorite person is actually Lina. she is really quick but when she does my brows, they grow back way faster than if I were to have them threaded by someone else. Also, the last time I went there, I asked for just a clean up on my brows... When she was done, she told me she shaped my brows for me.... Which I never asked for. Normally, I wouldn't get mad but I was bothered this time since I like my brows a little thicker (I have a rounder face so I prefer thicker brows) and she made them super thin without consulting with me! She ruined my shape that I LOVED (which was created by the Indian lady!) I haven't gone back since that time (which was more than 2 months ago) and now I do my own eyebrows. Probably the best threading salon ever! I went to Lina when she worked at Ziba and then she opened her own business in Buena Park, and I followed her there. I do not love close to Buena Park but I am definitely fine with making the trip one to two times a week. She's awesome. I was always picking with who did my brows, I always wanted Lina. She has two other employees, I go to whoever is open. Ever threader does an amazing job! I've never been to a threading salon where every employee does a perfect job on your brows. Lina is sweet and knows how to treat her customers. The price used to be $6 but they recently raised it to $7. Which is fine cause nowhere beats that price!
