I notice my eyebrows were uneven but I almost didn't say anything just because I didn't want her to continue hurting me, anyway I did tell her because again my brows were completely off, I said but please be gentle, which she wasn't! Her salon is clean and always accommodates you as quickly as possible. Lina is the best! I discovered her when she was still at Ziba in the LB Town Center and have been going to her ever since. When she was there, I refused to get my bikini wax by anyone else and if she went on vacation, I would go to her before or wait for her to get back. I followed her to her own salon she opened up in BP and will continue to be a faithful customer. She does a great job, is really fast and such a nice lady. I would recommend her to anyone. Lina is the BEST!! I've been coming to her for years, even before she had her own salon. I now commute from Long Beach to get my eyebrows threaded and Brazilian wax but its definitely worth it. I've gone to other salons much closer to home when I was pressed for time and ended up with jacked up eyebrows and the worst waxing. No one compares to her. She is fast, gentle and professional. Lina is AMAZING and by far the best eyebrow lady I've ever had. She used to work at the Ziba in Long Beach and now has her very own shop in Buena Park. She is a true professional and will do your eyebrows exactly the way you want. She's patient, kind, and not pushy... She doesn't try to sell you anything that you don't want. She treats each customer as if they're her last. When she was at Ziba, the wait for her was always 20-30 mins. cuz everyone wanted her. This morning I woke up grumpy due to the fact that my brows were out of control, so I had to get my brows done immediately! I searched nearby salons and came across Lina's. Truth is, I couldn't be happier! Lina had her work cut out for her with my brows but they were no match for her. She reshaped them beautifully and cleaned them up to perfection. Just came from here. Found this place on Yelp after having some extra time and being in the area. Based on the reviews, I purposely asked for Lina. She was very sweet and friendly. I went in for waxing (under arm & bikini) & threading (eyebrows & lip). I called while on my way and she said she could take me soon. I only had to wait a few minutes. I don't get waxed often so it's always going to hurt, but it was definitely bearable with Lina. I was pleasantly surprised that it all came out to $40! ($10 threading, $10 under arm, $20 bikini). My eyebrows were a mess because my usual person went to town on them and thinned them out. Lina walked me through what she did with my eyebrows to help me out. I would definitely go back! read more

At first Lina did a good job but then she started doing very poorly in shaping leaving them uneven, just sloppy. I tried going there several times hoping she just had a bad day but no and her other ladies are not careful. One of them left me with irritated red blotchy skin bc she was so rough and careless. Glad I went here. I tried checking out another place closer to home, but the wait was too much and happened to come across Lina through yelp. I'm glad there were signs telling me where to go since it would be a bit confusing driving around the small shopping area for a new-timer. First impression: pretty clean, I loved that the space had big open glass walls. Once I came in she was very friendly, which was great. I explained that I needed my brows and upper lip done, taking care to assert I needed more shape in my brows. While working, she took care to ask me how I'm doing, exemplifying her good service. She tacked on a chin service as well, which I complied (why not? :) It was my birthday time and I wanted to feel pretty!) Once done, I was happy to see that my brows looked better :). She invited me to come back in two weeks to keep the shape (that's how you keep your customers!), but unfortunately i was only visiting. I have never written a review before, but I had such a terrible experience here I felt the need to. I don't know who did my eyebrows but she was a middle age asian woman and was the only lady working in the shop. As soon as I sat in the chair I told her that I had been growing my eyebrows out for a long time and wanted to keep them thick, she said okay and that she would give them a small arch... Half of my eyebrow is literally gone. It has no arch and is so short ... Worst decision coming to get my eyebrows threaded at this business. read more

Bad business practices, and lack of respect for the consumer. She did a good job, but charged me $6.99 when the storefront sign was advertising "eyebrow specials" for $6.00. It's only a dollar, and still inexpensive, but it's shady and bad business practices. I just paid and reduced the tip.
