Had an excellent experience here searching for my mom's mother of the bride dress for my big day! Though the store didn't have the dresses my mom had found online which was disappointing, there was a large selection of formal dresses to choose from, and the staff was so on top of it with finding dresses that were similar to what she was looking for. They were extremely knowledgeable about the inventory and brands and did all the hard work for us. The staff helped my mom change, they gave her honest feedback and hyped her up when the dress looked good on her. They set the scene and helped her envision herself in the dress on wedding day by playing with different lighting options. We found a stunning dress for about $500. I saw dresses ranging from $250-$900. I think that some of the dresses there were worth the price, but others look super cheap and are falling apart. But the staff is honest enough to tell you which dresses those are. I will consider this location for my formal wear needs going forward! The only feedback I have is that when it comes to dresses that they have online or in their catalog. Let's say you want to order a dress in a color or size they don't have in the store. Once you order it, you can't return or exchange the dress. That's unsettling to me because depending on the color or the stretch of a dress, it may look completely different in person. Best customer service, large variety and are size inclusive (including size 22)! They don't have a max number of dresses you can try on, but pls be mindful! My sister and I were looking for a prom dress 3 days before prom. The employees gave us room to breathe while remaining attentive when we needed help. My sister would try on the dress in the fitting room and the employees would come help when she needed it. We finally found one that was drop dead gorgeous, but they didn't have the size she needed in-store. They offered to order it, but it would arrive a couple days to a week. Hands down the best dress shop on Harwin! They actually greeted us when walking in, asked what my daughter was wanting (she had no idea), brought out 1 dress of each style to get a feel for what she wanted, I gave him our budget and then they worked with us. This was our first stop and he actually encouraged my daughter try other shops to make sure she found exactly what she wanted. The pink dress was one of the first she tried on. We went to probably 10 stores that day (horrible customer service) and ended back at L|V and she chose the pink dress. I'm glad I found them since I have another 3 years of dress shopping and 2 other daughters that will be bridal shopping in the future. read more

I came here looking for hair accessories. I tried on some tiaras and was given an "unopened" one from what I had chosen. I came back to get the right one once I realized I had the wrong tiara. Ultimately I wanted to return it but they said all sales are final. I was never told about this when I first bought it and there are no signs that say all sales are final in the store. Furthermore, I think the price is ridiculous considering they get the accessories from Amazon. The store that they get tiaras from is Fasnahok on Amazon. Keep in mind that the crown I purchased was $125 but cost $35 on amazon. read more

After going to multiple dress shops to look for my wedding gown they made it their goal to find THE dress to make me feel like every bride should. I told them what I wanted and they worked with it but with a twist, they picked out 4 dresses out of my style and we worked from there and ended up leaving with a completely different style and I love my dress. If I could give half of one star I would. That is how upset, angry, & in disbelief at the level of service my bride & I were given working with Lina V. Formals. I contacted Lina via email in March 2021, to which I never received a reply back. I then PHYSICALLY visited the store in May 2021 with my bride & showed Lina the emails that were sent to which I never received a reply. While in the store with my bride, we selected the dresses which needed to be ordered for 10, yes TEN bridesmaids. I paid an additional $20, to have a specific size sent to the store so that my bridesmaids could try on. We were told that the dress would arrive in store mid June. My bride & I called the store once closer to the estimated time we were given & was told the dress was back ordered. At this point, I'd asked if the dress we'd ordered was available in store just to try on to give us an idea of the fit, material, etc... I was told YES as well as provided various sizes that were available IN THE STORE!!! With that in mind, my bride, along with her bridesmaids scheduled time to visit the store to try on the dresses. Once there, the similar dress which the staff at Lina V. Formals CONFIRMED was available IN THEIR STORE & in the SIZE we NEEDED was NOT THERE AFTER ALL!!! My bride & I were/are LIVID at this point! THEN we're told that the dress we ordered is now on back order until SEPTEMBER!!!!! The wedding is in DECEMBER!!!!! There are far too many variables & possibilities that could go WRONG for us to continue with the order. Therefore, we're making the decision to CANCEL the order & seek dresses elsewhere. I would NOT recommend Lina V. Formals at ALL due to lack of communication, extremely poor customer service & the lack of a sense of URGENCY when dealing with brides & the details of their special day.
