This is the absolute worst company to deal with. They gave me a prescription for a CPAP machine six weeks ago . At the time I confirmed my correct shipping address with the woman on the phone however they still sent it to the wrong address. This company needs to be put out of business, literally. Their customer service is horrible, their corporate office is horrible. The staff at both are rude and ignorant. People are suffering without the proper equipment while the company goes about their day to day. Ignorance is bliss. Can you say class action lawsuit. I can! read more

I contacted Lincare in Rochester, NH back in May of this year asking when were they going to send my new CPAP machine. They told me that the 2nd prescription that was sent to them in January had expired. I thanked them for not even notifying me that it had expired. I could tell be the attitude of the woman that I talked to could have cared less about my situation. It is now 7/27/23 and no one from that office has reached out to me about my situation. I went to my local sleep center and told them about my problem. They told me that they don't use Lincare very much due to the poor service. I think I have my problem solved. I am dumping the Rochester Lincare and going with a new company for my new machine. I would give Rochester zero stars but I can't. read more

DME companies are generally crap to begin with but this company screams unprofessional. Staff talks down to you like you are ignorant when in fact it's them. I told the person I dealt with I was going to have issues with a certain CPAP mask and she told me there were no other options. I left there with a mask I knew I couldn't use only to find she was wrong. Called back to schedule an exchange, her words not mine, and told her what I needed. She never told me I had to bring the machine then berated me for not bringing it. I brought the mask because "exchange" but she then said she can't take it back. Then why call it exchange??! Not that it mattered, she didn't have the mask I told her I needed anyway. Went a second time and she still didn't have the mask so I had to wait while she called the warehouse. She eventually found one in a pile but it had been opened so I didn't want it. Left with it anyway because I had to have something. Just a horrible experience all around. Highly recommend you find any other DME supplier! read more

Where such a huge percentage of their sales are made to or through government (e.g., Medicare), one would think such agencies would do a better job of controlling their 'standards.' I am certain the only reason Lincare remains in the market is a lack of oversight and/or competition. Never have I seen such shockingly shoddy customer service. Because, to date, I have been unable to find an alternative supplier for my oxygen and associated supplies, I am contemplating seeking regulatory / legal relief. It's clear the ultimate cause of this company's abysmal treatment of their clients is rooted in their business model, institutional values and organizational norms. From observation and interaction with their drivers, it is glaringly apparent their compensation schedules are inadequate to retain quality employees in the long term. Additionally, these staff often work debilitating hours, partly by design, partly because of turnover. When managers must fill in for hourly personnel frequently (seemingly routinely ?), staffing is inadequate Among my grievances: (1) non-delivery - ** MANY ** times !! (on at least three occasions I had to drive to their local depot to secure oxygen); (2) failure to deliver requested supplies, i.e., the wrong items, shorted count, etc.; (3) I have experienced an error rate of 100% with their national answering service - messages lost, messages garbled ... not *ONE* time in eight years did an order placed through the answering service arrive as scheduled with the requested items (granted, this happens when ordered locally also, yet it is correct 70% to 95% of the time, depending on the driver); (4) frequently, the exact supplies needed are on back order - these are basic, elemental items, tubing and the like, not MRI machines, for pity's sake !!! (5) trying to call the local operation is frustration cubed, as most of the time one is shunted to the clueless incompetents at the answering service; (6) and as noted above, management is rarely on the premises because they are struggling to avoid an operational collapse. Seriously, if I were to write a text detailing deliberate mismanagement compounded by gross incompetence, Lincare would be a prominent case study in it. read more

I've never seen such horrible customer service. And to have an employee tell me that my son's nebulizer isn't important enough? That its not like it's a life saving machine? Absolutely not. Please do yourself a favor and contact your insurance company to go anywhere else but here. read more

this company sucks, my town gets delivered oxygen on Wednesdays and you literally have to sit around all day waiting and of coarse they don't show up until 5 pm, that's if they show up at all. If I need more tanks I will just go and picked them up read more

This place is terrible. Nothing but the run around. Every time my elderly mother tries to order Oxygen that she needs to survive, they never bring it. Everytime she has to order it, it takes days. The driver will always promise to be there at a certain time and doesn´t ever make it within a 2 hour window, sometimes showing up close to 9pm. The customer service is horrible. Whenever I call, I am told someone will get back to me and no one ever does. If you have the choice to use another company do it. These people are terrible! read more

Every time I call Lincare, I get a different response, you'd figure one of those would be accurate. You'd be figuring wrong. For several weeks now I've been trying to get this company to provide me with portable oxygen. I have oxygen when I sleep and was recently written a prescription for 24/7 oxygen use. This company repeatedly states that my doctors have not provided them with the correct information for them to bill Medicare. I have had testing done now with 3 different doctors, at 3 different locations. When I called them on 12/12/16 I was told to use the large tanks, and pull them around if I wanted to leave my house. I need a heart transplant, I'm not pulling or pushing anything. During that call I was also told that the delivery driver would drop off additional tanks for me on 12/14/16, since I only have one tank. It's now 5:16pm and I haven't heard from anyone regarding dropping off more tanks. Today I called again; a Lincare rep. told me that a Lincare nurse would come out to my home to do the last piece of testing that is needed...this is the first time I have been told this. A Lincare office is less then 15 minutes from my home, we are located in the same city. We've even had to go there to pick up needed supplies because they couldn't deliver them and they wanted to ship them to me (seriously?). Resolution: I would like to get the correct answer from the correct person, someone that has the power to make things happen. I'd like to hear from their "nurse" regarding this testing. Ultimately, I'd like portable oxygen so that I can do some Christmas things, outside of my home. 11 days till Christmas.. read more

I have been given nothing but the run around from every person I have talked to at the Lincare in Dover. We have been trying to get my Mother transferred as a patient from Tucson to Dover for over a year and a half!!! Every time I call there, they tell me they are working on it. In the meantime, she cannot get her CPAP supplies and she is in her eighties. Even the Manager of the place cannot get anything done. I have made at least two dozen phone calls with no results. We have been left with no choice but to go elsewhere. If you are thinking about using LinCare, I would say do yourself a favor and find another place. read more

when I call for supplies it takes a few days but I have not run out of oxygen as I plan ahead to request it before I run low.

Disappointed with Dover, NH office. Was not advised we should change cannula frequently nor were we offered extra supplies. Delivery of the concentrator did not happened when advised. Told delivery would be on evening of hospital discharge. Waited until 11:30 PM, no call, no show despite several calls to the 800 number provided. The young man who delivered the machine the next morning was very pleasant, but did not inform us about getting new supplies. At one point when I asked how to clean the nose piece I was told to use a cotton swab. Guess what swabs are too big. I have now called another New Hampshire office and was treated like they really care. Also we had an appointment for a nurse to visit back in December to discuss the portable device, waited, office called and cancelled. I asked if we could make another appointment and was told someone would call sometime. Still nothing, March 5, 2018. Would not call the Dover office again. read more
