They have a fear free approach with soft music, pheromone diffusers, treats, and a gentle touch. My fur babies have received the best of care. Clean and comfortable and in a beautiful building near a park. They even have separate entrances for dogs and cats to help ease any anxiety. They even have a great selection of prescription foods. I absolutely love these vets at LHV. I had questions about my bill and talked with Bill their billing man and he explained why the bills were different for the same thing, which basically boiled down to drawing blood. It depends on how many tests they use the blood for and that's the difference. I also appreciate him for taking time to explain it to me, what a kind man! Huge thank you to the amazing staff here! They have helped 2 of my cats with urinary issues and my guinea pig when she was having eye issues. I ended up deciding to euthanize my guinea pig because it was clear she was suffering. She passed before the appointment and the staff sent me a lovely card, which I still have. It meant so much to me. Recently, my cat Edea needed hospitalization and they were so kind and helpful. Their prices aren't outrageous and they've always made time for me when my animals were in a bind. I really have nothing but nice things to say and I highly recommend them. read more

I just heard the most horrifying story about this vet. That your office couldn't help the gravely injured dog and told the family to take it elsewhere, charged them $600 ANYWAY but then WOULDN'T RELEASE the pet until they paid up??????? Then raised the bill another $100 for the extra HOUR as they scrambled to get the money??? Are you freaking kidding me? And after all of that the poor thing died before they could get it proper help? This kind of report of your unethical pet/customer care will go far and wide, and affect your business for ever...as it should. Doesn't even sound legal. read more

Over the years with the different pets I've had I have visited this veterinary clinic due to its convent location and every time I say to myself I'm never coming back. Once again I made the error of going to this clinic and am very disappointed, after spending more then $700.00 following their directions and basically being blown off when I called back three days later with the dog sicker then when I brought her in , I am now waiting for the dog to be seen at the emergency clinic. Charged over triple the price compared to online for a lifelong prescription, administered anesthetic at an extreme cost without verifying with the owner first, charged hundreds in overtime because vets stayed extra 15 minutes, charged double the cost as other local vets for simple blood analysis, and after five years of being a patient made zero attempt to alleviate or compromise on a tough situation. Lincoln Heights Vet clinic, and their Clinic Manager, put money over the health of the animals. Take your animals elsewhere if you want good care at a fair price. read more

I began going when I got my puppy, they offered a package where I paid for the first check up and vaccines, then got a free check up with every vaccine appointment after. If $$ is not an object, this is the vet for you and here is why: Since I was there with my first dog I had asked about pet insurance. The doctor told me that I wouldn't need it until my girl was 2. This was not the case since she developed allergies and knee problems before her second birthday which I am now responsible for in full. Recently I took her in for an ear infection and left with allergy medication after paying over $100. I had to return the next week because her ear infection got worse. I was then charged over $400 because they wouldn't take payments. They were going to charge a full exam fee with my second visit but changed it to a re-exam fee after I told them that I was only returning because they didn't treat her ears as requested during our first visit one week earlier. Within a few weeks we haf another visit which was to check out a limp which resulted in another $400+. Before and during our visit I asked them to do me curtesy by flushing her ears with the medication that I bought from them during our last visit. They were more than happy to do it for another $24.50 even though I already paid them over $1,000 just this year. I have since found a new vet that flushed her ears for free. They care more for the pet and it's owner than profits. read more

What a great staff! We have moved our pup's care to LHVC after a 3-year run at another veterinarian's office. The other office was fine and well respected, but lacked friendliness and compassion (very serious and no pet-friendly mannerisms). The office was cramped making it extra stressful for our nervous boy. They took good care of our dog, but the experience was always stressful for him... and for me. The move to LHVC has been 100% positive: friendly and knowledgeable staff, roomy waiting room, excellent and compassionate care. It is very apparent that LHVC staff enjoy what they do and are doing it for the right reasons. And it is equally apparent our dog feels more at ease than he did at the last place. I did a lot of research before choosing a vet for our puppy. All my research led me to Lincoln Heights. The staff are amazing and so friendly. My puppy loves going to the vet. The front office staff is especially wonderful and love giving my pup treats. We've had experiences with three of the vets so far and they've been really good. I've brought my puppy in sick twice and they called to check on her days after to check in. I highly recommend. read more

Moving from another state has so many things that make you crazy and finding a vet in Spokane I could trust was among the top 5. I had had the same vet for over 20 years and was pretty apprehensive about finding a new one. From the first annual exam visit to an emergency visit yesterday, this office has provided exceptional, appropriate care but more than that, the vets and vet techs are calm, patient and kind with my dog (who is fearful of his own shadow). From annual exams to funky skin rashes, a torn off due claw or simple, routine nail trims, I was comfortable throughout every exam. They don't try to push services so they can profit. And they call you the next day to see how your pet is doing. The place is convenient, immaculate and everyone who works there deserves gold stars for the great services they provide. Last summer I lost my flea and tic meds and had to scramble to get them the day before going on vacation. They did not have what I lost but they went out the their way to provide an suitable alternative the same morning I called and I went on vacation with a happy dog. Getting an appointment that suits my schedule is always possible, too. I would recommend this practice to a friend. read more

At first everything seemed very nice there. They did indeed treat my dog well; however, they treated both me and my daughter very poorly and continue to do so. We took my dog in for x-rays as a precursor for a surgery he needed. When we got an estimate for the cost of the procedure it was several times higher than other vets we spoke to and included procedures he did not need nor received. We are talking north of $8,000. Fine whatever, we'll be taking him into our normal vet who lives several hours drive away. On request of the x-rays they refused to send them to us. It took several requests and they finally sent an unusable file that had nothing on it (it was 6.6KBs, normally it should be dozens of MBs). When told of this they insisted the file was fine, I assure you it was not as this is what I do for a living. Our vet agreed the file was no good and more x-rays had to be taken and paid for ($480 down the drain) before the surgery could be done. Oh, almost forgot. When we got the bill we noticed the 3 shots we WATCHED him receive were part of the cost ($480 is a lot for an x-ray) but didn't see them on the bill. When we inquired about why they weren't included on the bill (would we be receiving another bill?) they told us they didn't give him the shots that WE WERE IN THE ROOM FOR. They basically told us we imagined the entire thing. Unbelievable! The surgery was a success and the dog is doing well, no thanks to Lincoln Heights Veterinary. So, while they may arguably treat your pet well while they are there. They had no problem treating me and my family poorly the moment they weren't being payed for additional services. We paid $480 for x-rays we never received so the poor thing had to be anesthetized again (which brings with it risk) and more x-rays ordered. This put our dog at unneeded risk and delayed the procedure. Clearly they care about your animal when being paid to, that stops the second they walk out the door. Never again. read more

From the moment we walked in the door, I knew this was the place for us. The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. Dr. Gentteman is amazing. He got on the floor and played with our puppy. He spent plenty of time giving us information and letting us ask questions. He is clearly well educated and keeps up on current literature regarding animals. I so appreciate him. We have a new 8 week old puppy who got a speaking to by his older lab brother. Turns out the day after the nip, our little guy was having problems staying awake, was shivering, was rolling his eyes back into his head. Without much thought, we jumped into the car knowing that our vet was open on Saturdays. They were literally closing up as we walked in the door and said they would at least give him a once over before likely sending us along to the Pet Emergency. Christy Siems, our vet, was on staff and agreed to see this last 'patient' and we were so very relieved that it was just a little nip, appreciative that they felt our worries and agreed to see him and of course, as always - the treatment is top notch! We were spared a trip to the Pet Emergency and the little guy, after two shots, is back to normal two days later! I know that this would not always happen (seeing us on a Saturday, as they are closing and without an appointment), but the fact that it could even happen once is above and beyond and worthy of note and thanks! read more

Appointments were always easy and with some extended hours available. Ashley at the front desk always prompt, thoughtful and considerate.
