I am not one to try to hurt someone's business or livelihood, but the staff hear needs immediate training on how to communicate with patients. My 5 year old knows how to speak more respectfully than the ladies at the front desk. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Linda aside from maybe hiring better qualified employees. If you are working in the medical field (even as just a receptionist), maybe you should be more willing to help people who are ill. This is offensively the worst medical office I've ever stepped foot into. First off, this dr. barely offers the full service that General Medical doctors are supposed to provide. She outsources everything! If you needed a culture test, she'll send you off somewhere else to get that done which now will require more time to go by before you are treated. I know at my former doctors office, this specific concern was handled at the office just by taking a culture test that Dr. Rouel is trained to do but never does it. So, on top of already waiting for your appointment for a week to be seen in hope you'll get treated only to find out that she's not there to treat you, but rather sends you off like a "human broker" No, this doctor doesn't operate like most do. Seeing her will extend the waiting period for proper care which runs the risk of your own well-being. She's a middle- man! She does more phone calls rather than office visits, and orders lab tests and this was shocking that she even missed our appointment last week without anybody from her office calling me to reschedule after I waited a week and half for this appointment. Her excuse was "my husband is in the hospital and it's serious...." this was her reason for missing our appointment. She shouldn't be telling me about her personal matter, in fact, what she should be apologizing for is why her staff was not professional and failed to contact me. A real doctor's office has protocols in place when emergency matters arise to avoid neglecting the quality of patient care. Not even a courtesy call to reschedule happened. They rarely respond to emails too. Furthermore, this place fails to even give a call to discuss your test results. It's like they'll get to it when they want to and that could be never unless you become proactive and call them all the time just to know the results. Beware, when you do become proactive and call out their mistakes, they bring their hot-blooded attitude out and speak to you unprofessionally which results with never wanting to return. This place lacks bedside manners, etiquette, and professionalism. While i've already got a sour taste about the doctor who missed our appointment, I also experienced a rude receptionist who claimed that they sent me the lab order form and I saw nothing in my inbox or in my junk mail either. Regardless of what she thinks she sent me, there is no excuse for her attitude. This receptionist could not for the sake of God be even 15% professional knowing that I'm the patient and have every right to be upset with the way they operate as medical professions. She needs to take some client service courses and practice being a better human while Dr. Rouel's needs an intervention for her entire clinic including herself. I wouldn't be surprised if there is already a lot of complaints to the medical board after reading all these negative reviews inside yelp. Oh, and here is the funniest part! They sent me a "discharge" letter in the mail after my confrontation over the phone with the receptionist...I wonder how many times they've done that with other people who are rightfully disturbed by this clinic. STAY CLEAR AND AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR....YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE AT MINIMUM, QUALITY CARE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

Do not waste your time here. The front office is very unprofessional and impatient. My mother had a telemedicine appointment with Dr. Rouel at noon and we did not get a call until 12:38... and it was the front office not the doctor. The front office did not know how to open .pdf files when sending over registration paperwork. Different team members repeatedly asked for the same documents for registration and had us walk through sending all 15 pages in different formats until they got one they could open, which took another 45 minutes. I'm very tech savvy so there is no way an elderly person would have been able to pass that test. They let us know that they would call back sometime later today and did not specify when. I kept my cool and just trusted that the next call would be from the doctor and we would be closer to getting a referral so my mom could get a mammogram. Fast forward 2 hours and they call me back to let me know that my moms insurance was assigned to her Husband (a different Dr. Rouel) and that we essentially had been referred to the wrong doctor. This would have been great to understand before we spent all the time on the phone with the rude front office team or, even better, before we made arrangements to be available for the appointment. If I could give zero stars, I would. Shame on this team for disrespecting other people's time in such a way. read more

I've never been so disrespected and disgusted by a front desk worker than I have here.The front desk didn't greet me when I walked in, in fact they looked at me and then proceeded to ignore me until I stepped up to them and said "hello?". Rude. She then proceeded to judgmentally ask me VERY INCREDIBLY personal questions which made me feel extremely unsafe and unwelcome. Just had my first visit with Dr. Rouel. She took time to discuss everything with me. I absolutely would recommend her to anyone. She is informative and willing to take the extra time with you regarding your concerns. I will be keeping her as my primary. read more

Worst quack of a doctor ever who clearly has racial issues with Kurds. My original appt was at 2 she called me 4:30! I made a new one she called me 15 minutes early and answered with a hello not even introducing herself. I asked for 2 things: medication refill and a new referral for a specialist. This was back in August. It is now September 8 and I call to find out neither thing was even in my file so every time I have called since then I have been lied to about the processing of my requests. Ridiculous that doctors like her can put patients lives in jeopardy and get to keep their license!! read more

Dr. Linda Rouel is very amazing my family has been her patients Since she moved down to San Diego. She is very professional caring and compassionate about her patients. Many times she has given me her personal number to get urgent help for my sick dad. Thank you Linda and her office staff is amazing, many times the pharmacy says they're not replying to refilling however, when I call the office they haven't received them.. they take care of it right after that. read more

Dr. Linda is a wonderful doctor, compassionate and caring, she's a 5 star in my book. The one star is for her condescending, snotty, cold blooded, discriminatory receptionist. This woman not only once but multiple times let us down in time of need. The last three times I called to speak with Dr. Linda because my wife was in such distress from the flu, both of us being in dr.linda's care just a few days ago and just needed medical advise from the dr. But this receptionist from hell made it a point to harass us with "she's not available to talk with you, even for 5 minutes" every time we called. This type of person tend to damage your faith in this care facility, 360 degrees different from her employer, like a bad seed planted in an otherwise healthy care environment. I called the main number, mind you I've had the doctors office assigned to me two Plus years ago, have not called me back after I left a voicemail week or two ago, woman by the name of Rasha, very rude And hung up on me, they are not accepting new patients although they are my assigned health care office for well over two years ( they see my family / not anymore.
