The ladies really do good work. If you are looking for a place that knows how to do pedicures this is it. The owner is super friendly and alllll business. *they offer $10.00 off on your tenth visit with a stamp card. So ask for your card. The only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is because they are always going back and forth right in my face speaking what ever language they speak. It is rude. The owner acts like she doesn't speak good English she does. I took my friend who is 1/2 Asian and she said they speak about customers. And the weather. They complained about time and demanding customers who do not tip well or at all. read more

I went in to get my nails done. They seem to do a good job but the three employees spent a lot of time talking to each other and laughing. I called a friend and asked her to listen. Sure enough, they were talking about my weight and wondering if I was transgender or not. They also said they didn't believe in abortion but I should have been aborted. I was so upset when I left. I've been coming to Jenny's nails for years ! I come all the way from glendale just for them to do my nails .. they all are trained to do such a great job. They make sure to scrub the dead skin on the bottom of your feet and get all hang nails and gunk out. When I get acrylics Hanna is my girl .. anything you want she can do just an amazing job and I'm SUPER picky I'd rather travel an hour in traffic than have anyone else do my nails because they don't compare to Jenny's nails! read more

Have been going there since pandemic started since was only salon open. They're very rude. Kept going because I'd say to myself maybe just having a bad day. They usually are in a rush and charge so much. They can never do designs I want or talk me out of doing anything different to MY nails. I went in once and they charged me $90 they were startled because I was more than ok paying and leaving a tip. They'd yell at you if you moved or positioned the wrong way. My wrist hurts from her forcing my Hand in a weird and uncomfortable position. They don't even disinfect work areas. read more

What girl doesn't like to have a mani/pedi when she's feeling down? Of course the pedicure is a must at the onset of spring. I had to drop by Jenny's before I continue wearing another pair of my open-toe shoes. Yes ladies, don't make the mistake I made by going out today with icky looking toes while wearing flip-flops....that's a big no-no!! I tried a few nail places in my neighborhood, they were ok but then this one place (who I will not mention) totally jacked up my toe when she cut my toenails and I got this gross infection that had to be lanced and treated with antibiotics. Ew. Now I only come to Jenny when I need my toes done. She's right near my mom's house so its a convenient stop for me. This is just nail shop like the thousands of other nail places all across the LA area. But there are a few things that make it a bit special. 1 - They'll never cause your toe to swell and ooze puss. 2 - The place is carpeted and you won't have to hobble around barefoot on tile floors as your toes dry 3 - There's a comfortable waiting area with sofas and magazines for the kids, spouses, boyfriends and waiting customers. (Really, what kind of bf waits for his lady to get her nails done?? Go watch a football game or something!!) 4- Jenny's also does waxing and facials. My mom doesn't like getting her nails done but sometimes I can lure her in when I pay for her lip to get waxed. 5 - They have a TV mounted on the wall with a DVD player that plays CHICK FLICKS all day long!!!! I'm not saying go every two weeks or anything like that but once a month sounds pretty reasonable and it will be good to get them cleaned once in a while. I also moved recently to around this area in La Mirada...yea I know what your thinking, your probably wondering where is La Mirada?? Well it is a cute little small city with a lot of different nail places. I would say I like this place the most because it isn't a big commercialized one and you get to be comfortable and feel a little bit like home. For some reason this place does this for me and I like it. I would have to say that these ladies are the most nicest and friendliest people with lots of spunk. I have to say that the reason why I don't give them one star is because they charge you a dollar to use your credit card. But beware of that and well I'm glad that they at least do accept credit cards. Some places are a cash only business and that is pretty much not a great thing for me. Came here today with my lil sis and mom to get a spa pedi. Spa Pedi $16 + french tips $4=$20 (good deal I thought) I'm not sure how good they are with their mani/pedi's b/c we ended up leaving before me and my mom got sat. All the employees use Latex gloves here and I asked them not to for all 3 of us. The feeling of latex on skin is not a good feeling and yes, there are ppl who are allergic to these. Either way this one lady got really defensive about it and gave us such a attitude. To what I remembered, I was the customer who walked in here to pay for a service. I didn't feel like getting my nails done here anymore...so I told my family that I would sit out on this one... But they followed me out the door. Today I got a gel pedicure here and it came out great. The only complaint I would have is that she over scrubbed my feet when doing the callous remover. The balls of my feet are rougher than when I came in. I did not have an appointment and when I got there they say me in a chair right away. The woman who did my pedicure was very detailed and the pedicure was not rushed. I'm not from this area so I probably won't be back but I would recommend it to others :) read more

I have been coming here since I was in high school & even after going other places always compare them to Jenny's. I've taken my mom here several times. It had been so long that she had a mani/pedi. She picked her color. Got the gel for her fingers. The color she picked was reddish and her nails were a light orange. Toes were mauve color. When finished I heard my mom saying the colors didn't match the toes. It didn't match. They said it was because the gel changes the color but they were from the same nail polish bottle. They were going to charge mom $10.00 more to gel her toenails so they would match fingernails. Arrrgg. We were already there one hour. I took a good look at the manicure and and the girl didn't put color all the way to the cuticle so it looked like her nails had grown out. They did them over. Another 1/2 hour. With tip we paid $67.00. Won't ever go to them again. They didn't care. Poor mom. read more

This definitely is a great nail place. I had coffin nails done and I went almost a month without fills and not once did the nails lift!! They are not pushy at all and keep this place very clean. They are fast and take pride in the nails they do. My nail had messed up a little and right away she went to fix it where other nail places I have been to will just brush it off. I just recently had my nails taken off because of work but if I ever decided to get them done again I will definitely come here. I have been coming here on and off for over two years because I don't live in the area, but it was always my favorite salon. I always ask for Hana to do my nails because I thought she was the best, until today. Two of my nails had slightly torn this week, so I glued them on my own to hold me over until I could get a new gel manicure. I don't like to get acrylics, so whenever this happens I usually just ask for nail glue and a little powder because I like them to look thin and natural. When I went in today, Hana didn't even try to repair them. She just cut them and put tips on those two nails without even asking me. When she finished painting ALL of my nails were different shapes and the two with powder were so obviously thicker and wider than all the others. Even after I asked her to make them all the same shape, they all still look different and some are longer than others. She over charged me without telling me and I'm so upset. It's safe to say I will never be coming here again. read more

Rude stylists....I was very specific in the type of nail look I wanted which were velvet nails and I was told that that was possible. After my stylist did a cat eye look on my nail, I tried explaining to her what I wanted instead and even the process of hovering the magnet all over the nail to achieve the velvet nail look and she began to get upset with me, rudely stating that she could not do another coat (which was not at all what I had explained to her), and getting mad at me for going to grab my phone to show her a picture of what I wanted. First, around the 3rd week of May, I came in for a pedicure before I went on vacation. The worst experience I have ever had. The lady who worked on me cut into my big toe, of which I initially felt a pinch, but didn't really feel what had happened until the evening. I realized she had covered the cut with nail polish as if to hide what she had done. Well, it turned into an infection with a lot of pain. I am doing this review much later because we are already at the end of July and it still has not healed properly. I still have pain and it got infected again. Never will I ever go to them again! I had to take antibiotics and now have to see a podiatrist because I truly do not know the extent of damage done. Second, my daughter went to them two days ago and they also cut into the sides of her finger nails as you see in the picture. Both hands have cuts on the fingers. I was not the one who took her there as I would never recommend this place to anyone. I hope no one has to experience the same thing. read more

I really wish i had a great experience here but unfortunately i did not. The lady doing my pedicure kept saying something in her language to her coworker and they would both stare at me and give me a dirty look. Mind you my entire time there i was watching videos on my phone minding my business. I ignored it and kept minding my business. Then when it was time to pay the lady charged me $39 for a gel pedicure french tip when on the phone they had told me $30. When asked why the extra 10 dollars they said that it was an extra fee to remove previous gel. I dont mind paying $39 dollars for a pedicure but i felt i was being finessed for the simple work they had done. First and last time here never again. Prices are high and job is shitty. I have been here 2 times for acrylics and both times less than a week one of my nails seems to brake. I could understand if the first time it broke but I went back for a fill and less than a week my nail broke again! Not only were they very quick, but they also provided quality service. The employees here are definitely experienced. I loved my gel mani/pedi! I've been coming to Jenny's Nails for awhile now. I get my acrylic sets/ fills done here & my pedicures. I've never had a bad experience up until today. I went in a showed the Woman who was doing my nails a picture of the color I wanted. (A previous set I've had before with same color at Jenny's nails) I've never seen this nail tech before but she agreed on the color I had picked. As she proceeded with my fill, she not once asked if I wanted them cut down, didn't ask what shape. I told her politely if I could have them square. She agrees and finishes my nails. Long story short, she didn't use the color I wanted (which was fine because I loved the color she went with). She finishes & I pay to leave. When I walk outside I can see my nails better in the sun. There was a hair from the brush stuck on my nail, there were lumps and very uneven shape. Some nails were square others were oval shaped. Majority of the nails were painted sloppy & parts of the nail didn't have evenly applied color. I had asked them to be fixed & she proceeded to have nasty attitude. Talking to me passive aggressively & throwing my hands when she was drilling off the gel she previously applied. She cut my skin & when I said "ouch" because my hand jerked back from my skin being drilled she continued on being rough with my hands. She kept saying "do you like the color now, you didn't like the color before" I repeatedly said the color was NOT an issue. The issue was the application. So once again I walked out with my nails looking horrible. She rushed and didn't even seem to have any interest on fixing my nails. Never have I ever had a bad experience at this salon nor any other salon. I was unhappy with the nails I got which I paid for and in result I got treated horribly. I will never come back after the way I was treated when I treated her with kindness. All I wanted was it to be fixed read more
