Beautiful ambiance and a relaxing vibe--this place really has that dialed in. The Mediterranean-inspired appetizer board (hummus, pickled veggies, nuts, cheese) was a great choice and very well done. I stuck with a classic martini, but others in our party of five explored the cocktail menu and were impressed. The bartender was warm and welcoming and greeted us right away for our reservation. Unfortunately, the experience took an awkward turn at seating. We had requested a view and were about to be accommodated when another staff member (auburn hair) interrupted abruptly and loudly, insisting we not be seated up front due to other reservations. It was uncomfortable and felt unprofessional--especially in front of guests. As it turned out, she was our server. Throughout the evening, her demeanor didn't improve and felt out of step with the otherwise welcoming environment. Having spent over 25 years in the industry and as a restaurant owner, I know how important frontline staff are to the guest experience, and this simply didn't reflect the level this place is capable of. That said, this feels like the exception--not the norm. I've had pleasant experiences here before and will return, hopeful that this was just an off moment. read more

We dined here while staying at Hotel 1110 & had great meals and cocktails. The girlfriend said she booked this hotel on account that LindaRose is the only rooftop bar/restaurant in Monterey - like how cool is that, to have the only rooftop bar in town! We happen to love Mediterranean food so it is a perfect fit for us. They have local draft beer for me and the fancy cocktails for her to pair with kabob and lamb burgers. Mmm Mmmm read more

Amazing bar and food spot. Unique rooftop location with great views of the bay. They have nice little electric personal heaters which help with the mild weather. Well alcohol is well curated making for some fantastic cocktails. Excellent service. Showed up for this place for dinner. You might need reservations but if you happen to book at the hotel in the building reservations become quite easy. Staff was amazing, truffle Mac and cheese was good, Brie wheel was wonderful, hummus platter was great, and kebab was good!!!! The basque cheesecake was delicious. This quaint rooftop bar is situated above the quaint hotel1110 and has a lot of potential, but is already pretty dang sweet as is! We came up for the sweet view and to share a few celebratory drinks after getting engaged on the beach. Elevator was out of service so we took the stairs. Service was great once we arrived - the server recommended some great dishes (get the shrimp tacos! - we ordered it twice) and hooked us up with a free dessert (epic!). Once the Sun set a DJ started mixing and the vibe changed - but we had a few drinks (Tiki Bowl for the win) so the club mood was fun. This place is on the roof top of hotel 1110. I have to say the view is amazing if you go around 7 you can watch the sun go down over the bay as you have dinner with drinks. You don't have to worry about getting cold as they have heaters around most the tables. The food was a bit slow to come out and only one server while we were there but the chef is up there cooking to order and the server offers great service so be patient the food is well worth the wait. Over all great experience 8.5/10 would have rated it better but walking down 4 flights of stairs buzzed was fun. They do have an elevator 2 person capacity. read more

What a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant! I was in town for a seminar and they were within walking distance so I decided to check it out. The building is unassuming on the outside but once you head up to the roof you are greeted with a great space with amazing ocean views. I ordered a couple cocktails and both were very good. They didn't have any fancy drinks but what they did have they made well and they were reasonably priced. The food menu was pretty expansive. I had some hummus, the pita was really good, and the lamb burger. The flavor was good and the dipping sauce was great, but it was a bit over cooked. They had plenty of heat lamps so even with the evening breeze it was a great place to hang out. I would definitely return next time I am in town. read more

Honestly I was pretty underwhelmed with the food. Looking at the menu and the prices I assumed the food would be very good. I have a theory that places with a good view can charge a lot for food and be mediocre, and that's what this place is was. It did have a great view but the food was just okay. It wasn't bad! It just wasn't quite worth what they charged. They also recommended reservations, which we made... but there was only one other couple there when we got there. They also had a dress code, which I didn't mind, I love dressing up. But the people in the pictures online looked incredibly casual as did the other couple that came. read more

Sadly we wanted to love this place because we've heard about it a few times but the service was not great. The employees were nice but our server came to our table only a few times and we needed to leave the table and order on many occasions. The bartender was more attentive. I asked for some coffee, but they said they did not have a coffee pot up there and they mentioned that I asked the management several times And they believe there's a coffee pot in every room. A coffee pot has a very small footprint, I don't understand what the problem is with that? The Ambiance was good but they really need some higher plexiglass around the perimeter. Monterey gets pretty cold and windy. The food was a mix between fair and good depending on what you ordered but VERY overpriced. A plate of mushy fries with about 5 small pieces of steak was $22. The lamb burger was not bad and you got the same amount of French fries. Don't do food, just have drinks. read more

My drink was good, muddled blackberries and simple syrup and mint. Shrimp Tacos were small and spicey, but tasty. I liked the greek salad and mom's chicken kabab was very well prepared, juicy and tasty. Waiter was nice and great view at the restaurant. Hint: try and get there before dark so you can watch the sunset. The night we were there the elevator was broken so we had to hike up 4 flights of stairs, but it made us extra hungry and appeciative of the food. The Panna cotta was really good! Absolutely ridiculous service!! My girlfriend and I arrived for dinner and some drinks as we are local and have always wondered about the place. We were sat right away as there were was only one other table with customers.It took well over 15 minutes to be served. There wasn't any silverware or linens on the table or brought out before I had gone and asked for some. The drinks were inconsistent between crazy strong and no alcohol taste at all. We ordered two kamikaze shots that were very heavily poured and two Martinis (lemon drop martini and there berrytini) the lemon drop martini was very strong and the berrytini tastes just like a smoothie. As we were waiting for our server we see two of the bartenders smoking vape pens behind the bar and taking multiple shots. Absolutely not worth the visit. Being locals here there is better customer service at Dennys. We have been born and raised here in Monterey and this has been the worst service we have ever experienced in this beautiful town. read more
