An easy in, easy out business for someone to grab a bite. My wife and I ate here for breakfast, and it was adequate. We were seated quickly, and menus given. The table was a bit tight, as I'm over 6' and we ordered soon after. I had an omelette as did my wife, which wasn't much. It looked to have a slice of processed cheese on top, but it wasn't even melted. The hash browns were more fried mashed potatoes than shredded. The food was warm, as we had several people in it group, but nothing stood out to say "this was great". It was ok. What I did learn is that I crossed this restaurant off my bucket list. read more

Phoned in an order to go. They said 20 minutes for the beef sane inch with fries. I thought that was a long time but I wanted to try it out. When I walked inside, indoor dining is allowed now, so it was odd to see people inside a restaurant after so long lol. Weird I know. The sandwich and south black flavor to me. The food is definitely authentic as the sign says. I stopped for a breakfast burrito specifically with potatoes eggs and beans but somehow they forgot to include the potatoes. That's why I only gave it 4 otherwise it would have been a 5 star. The service was friendly the Ambiance is a typical diner with signs you can read, positive outlook signs are always good. I will definitely have to come back and try other things in the menu and maybe next time get a breakfast burrito that includes potatoes. read more

Love this place. It's family owned, fresh homemade food. They make their own fried mushrooms and zucchinis that are delicious, not to mention the ranch dressing. The owners come and talk to you to see if everything is good. The ambience reminds me of eating in family enviroment I would recommend this restaurant. read more

This was our second time at this location. The staff was welcoming and warm. They came to take our order promptly. Today I ordered the fried zucchini. It was so fresh, crispy and the ranch was good. So this is my second visit here. Last time me and a buddy came for burgers. Really good! Tonight my wife and I came in, she had the homemade meatloaf and loved it. I had the Roast Beef club and it was huge and delicious. When Maria (owner) told me the cinnamon rolls were homemade by her, I ordered one for dessert. Dang that thing was gooooood. We devoured it. This place popped up as a suggestion here on yelp, so I put it on my "to try list". Our plans fell through and I had to hurry up and get the kids fed. Since we were nearby I decided to give it a try. I'm happy that we did! It gives you the feel like everyone who comes here is a regular. We got here at about 6:30p and it was not busy at all...I was very grateful for that! I had hungry kids who were on the verge of hangry...uh oh! We were greeted and told to sit anywhere. The waiter was very polite and made small talk with the kids (they loved the attention!). Drinks came out fast and the kids claim it was the best chocolate milk they have ever had! Lol! Orders were taken and I'm happy with the small amount of time that we waited. I got the French Dip with fried mushrooms and I was very happy with my decision. The bread was amazingly soft and fresh and the mushrooms were to die for! Some people think it's hard to mess up a French Dip, but it is very easy to actually! The meat was sliced and cooked perfectly. I think the next time I might add some cheese? I think a little melted provolone would have made it amazing! We also got a bacon cheeseburger that did not disappoint! I really like that they serve their burgers on a brioche bun...it takes the burger up a notch in my opinion. The bacon was cooked perfectly as well as the patty. It was a juicy and very filling burger! The kids meals are just the right size, and I was actually surprised at how good the pizza was! Not gonna lie, I was a little happy when my little one didn't finish it and I had to! Haha! This place is clean and very quaint. Stopped by this restaurant after trying one in Banning that was too crowded. I was a little skeptical, the decor was outdated and it was not fancy at all. I had a Ortega omelette and my husband scrambled eggs with country potatoes and topped with gravy (weird combination but it was delicious). I was pleasantly surprised, food was delicious and service was great. The server was super friendly and attentive. Upon finishing, she suggested the homemade cinnamon roll; that was delicious!
