Really good food. It's nice being able to enjoy the lake with a nice burger and fries. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

So almost 3 years ago rave reviews from YELP forced me to try this joint out. The first bite of…read moretheir Smash Burger was a revelation, the second bite an addiction. If I were younger I'd be here weekly. Since I now eyeball my cholesterol it's more a once a monther -- and it never disappoints. The menu has grown significantly since 3 years ago. I've enjoyed their burritos, haven't tried the chicken sandwich yet, but it's that crazy burger that calls to me. "Lenore... Lenore... come back baby!" I've told anyone about this place that will listen. Not because I'm obsessed but because if BB's hidden location closed... I would be sad. Yes, they're hiding behind the Circle K gas station at the corner of Orange and San Bernardino. You'd have to be crazy to get gas there and not give it a try. It's so close! I've been told it was a Dairy Queen many moons ago. And you think it's just me? Apart from their high YELP ratings, the readers of the Redlands Community News weekly (that free paper a lot of us get) rated BURGER BVLD as the Best Burgers in town. It's hot as blazes as I write this and so you might want to pick up or have Doordash drop it off to you. They have an indoor/outdoor situation. But don't let that dissuade you. The Mom and Pop owners are top notch people and insist on pleasing you. My only knocks here is that I wish they offered a vegetarian burger and a turkey burger. They'd see a lot more of me and my partner in crime if they did.

We had an IPA that was ok, but not really what we wanted. Food was good, but we ordered an appetizer but came out with our sandwich as extra, so no fries and a full appetizer. The bartender was nice, as that is where we sat. She was the only one behind the bar and when the restaurant filled up she was more focused on getting drinks for them instead of the people sitting at the bar top. Also, the 4 TV's they have we think should be on different channels. Just a suggestion. One more thing your parking lot is awful for the size of your place, especially handicap. I will let everyone I know food was good and hopefully we will come back.

As soon as I sat at the bar, I was immediately greeted with a smile and offered a couple of their specialty drinks. I decided to go with one of their seasonal beers on draft. The manger, Sandra, was walking the floor and making sure everyone was enjoying their time. We talked a little about the transition from the old location to the new one, and it seems like a flawless move from old to new. Thank you for the fantastic afternoon! I will be returning soon!

Had a chance to visit both the State in Rancho and Redlands. This review will be for Redlands…read more To put it simply- Amazing spot in the heart of Redlands. The quality of food was fresh, prepared just right, and the service was fast and welcoming. It's in the nice down town Redlands area so never too busy or loud, in the small city. Our server, Aubrey, was also AWESOME so definitly give her a raise lol. My buddies and I were wanting some steaks and drinks after work, and we were not disappointed. 100% will be back. The only thing to be weary of is if you get outdoor seating. Many folks downtown tend to smoke marijuana so sometimes the smell will make its way into the patio area.

Definitely a fun spot for a fancy cocktail--or, in my case, a mocktail. I ordered the Hibiscus Cooler and LOVED it. The food was more of a mixed bag. I ordered the Poblano Burger, and the deep-fried poblano was SO good. Unfortunately, I ordered the patty medium and it came out overcooked. The fries were also a little undercooked, and the burger could have used more sauce. Tasty overall, just not quite hitting the mark. Then came dessert... and this is where the experience really went downhill. I ordered the crème brûlée because I've had it elsewhere and had been craving it. While waiting, I stepped away to use the restroom. When I came back, my entire table--including my drinks--had been cleared. I had literally just ordered dessert and never indicated I was finished. The server seemed confused when I questioned it, which made the whole thing even more awkward. And unfortunately, the crème brûlée itself was also a miss. The sugar topping was torched too long and had a noticeably bitter, burnt flavor. The server (and possibly a manager) apologized, and I was given $2 off the drink, which I appreciated. Between the okay food and the especially strange service and lack of communication the experience left me disappointed. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight, but for me, the service experience was enough to say I probably won't be back anytime soon.

We like to order out fries extra crispy and they are indeed always perfectly crisp. They have vegan options and vegan shakes! While we're fans of the food, there's a couple things to note : 1) The service here is usually ok. There is usually 2 younger employees working so they can be delayed to get to the order window at times. 2) I reccomend ordering online and giving your order ready time an ADDITIONAL 15 minutes. Ex) order pickup time states 5:00, expect it ready at 5:15 at the earliest. 3)The restaurant is in located in downtown Redlands so parking can be difficult. There is very minimal outside seating available. It's located in an alley so it can be easy to walk past.

The food was ok, but the ordering experience left a bad impression. The cashier asked if I wanted…read moresauce, so I asked what kind they had. She simply said "burger sauce" and "ranch." At no point was I told that each sauce would cost $2.08. She went ahead and added both sauces to my order, and I didn't realize they were an extra charge??? Charging over $2 for a small sauce is already expensive, but not informing customers before adding them to the order is frustrating. A simple, "Just so you know, each sauce is $2.08," would have avoided the issue. Transparency about extra charges goes a long way. Because of that experience, I left feeling disappointed. The lack of communication about the additional cost overshadowed the meal.
