So a friend of mine went in to have a recall repair done on his Honda. The repair was free, which by dealer standards and manufacturers standards should have been free. They charged him $90 for an overall inspection of the tires, the fluids, and all that. Lindsay really ripped him off. Those services were not needed or necessary. That was Lindsey's way around the free repair to still make money on the customer. Very, very poor customer service. Shows Lindsay Honda's greedy and only concerned with the bottom line and only making money and screwing their customers. And then adding insult to injury, he had to retrieve his car from the overflow lot after the service was done instead of them bringing the car to him like pretty much all other dealers do. That required him to have to walk a ways to get his car. Overall, a horrible experience from Lindsay Honda. I would stay away from them. They're not customer friendly, they're not customer worthy, and based on that recall repair that should have been free, they screwed him on that as well. Pics included car sales dragged took forever but whatever boy found the car he wanted and was looking at a 8 hour drive to his duty station at fort drum , so as we closed we went over what service was done that was told and I quote four new tires last month and more service .. so I felt secure in him driving 8 hours to serve our country without a second thought . Fast forward 24 hours later and at 55 he blows a back tire . I assume he driving like a maniac but after further inspection all four tires dry rotted but covered by tire shine and mfr dates on front was from 2021 and rear 2019 the original tires. So I go back in and for 5.5 hours I argued with them about integrity and telling the truth. They were willing to replace one tire ... That's right one .... So fought with them more about how you don't replace just one and how are you not going to just slap four new ones on and actually do what your service records said you did . Now they finally replaced two , I then proceeded to take it to Zanesville Honda and had them go over and verify the work was done down to the cabin filter z I do not trust and will verify . I feel for a company who doesn't offer military discount or even recognize my son who is serving and won't even take care of issues so easy to do and just take the accountability of being adults and a my business I find it disrespectful for everyone . I have notified carfax as well as Kelly and Honda to the fact that we were lied to from service records that say new tires and obviously were not . Purchased 2 used cars from this location. One car had a check engine light on. We were told they ran diagnostics (while we were there) and the check engine light was only for an O2 sensor that needs replaced. They reset the sensor at that time and stated the car was safe to drive and we can have our mechanic replace the sensor since it is a small repair. Once the car was purchased and taken to our mechanic within a couple days, we come to find out the dealer (MONDALE BRADLEY) lied. It was not an O2 sensor and is in fact the catalytic converter failure light. So the whole catalytic converter needs replaced. Now when these diagnostics are run there is a code with letters and numbers that come up that matches to a part, So there is ZERO chance there was a misread of the diagnostic code. When Lindsay Honda(MONDALE BRADLEY) was contacted we were basically told we were SOL and they made sure the car was "safe to drive" when we purchased it so there is nothing he would do to help. They would not offer us any help or assistance in replacing the part or covering for our mechanic to replace the part even when we would be willing to pay half. We were just wanting acknowledgment of the lie(or mistake) and some help on their end for the massive over-site/lie. I don't know how a part failure that can end up blowing my engine is "safe to drive", or how their mechanics read the diagnostic code as an O2 sensor when there is no way that code matches that part, but now I have to figure out this large repair and I never would have purchased the car otherwise if we had known. read more

This dealership takes advantage of the customers and the shortage of new cars on the market by charging a "limited market fee" on their brand news cars. They also add in a paint protection charge because "they need to keep their employees paid". This was a legit reason one of the customer service agents e-mailed me. I went to Honda Marysville and bought a brand new Honda Civic si for MSRP two weeks later. Lindsay was trying to charge me $8000 over MSRP. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I am a Honda employee and I was taken to the cleaners. The salesman Ben told me my trade in was worth only $3000 after I already had it appraised for much more through Lindsay Honda. He said it "didn't pass the eye test." Today I looked on their website and I see they're selling my car for more than 11k. Also he would not negotiate any price on the used car that I was interested in even when I asked him to work with me. Also after they pulled my credit he then told me the car that i was buying was in a fender bender. They hid this fact until after they issued a hard credit pull. Months later, just prior to appointment, the service department called stating that because we didn't "call to confirm" our appointment, it would be cancelled. Stated we still want our appointment, they replied "if your maintenance light isn't turned on, then the oil change is not complimentary and you will be charged"! We were never told this! Customet Satisfaction is not important to this dealership. We purchased an older car that we were not happy with after driving about 30 miles. When we called the dealership to see about returning the car and purchasing another within the dealership, we received the run around for 3 days. The salesman stalled us, the sales manager didn't return my 2 calls and finance never called us back within those 2 days of the run around or avoidance. On day 3, they had us come to the dealership and wasted our time basically saying it was between us and the bank. In other words it's not our problem anymore since we've been paid for the car. Ultimately we ended up losing money because the car had issues. we lost money and ended up paying more in the end because they would not work to ensure we were happy with our pre-owned car. I used to love Honda until I bought a used car at Lindsay Honda. The car didn't have any floor mats so the sales representative said he would order them and call me when they came in. When I called a couple of months later to see if they came in yet he didn't even remember telling me he would order them. I didn't even think about getting it in writing because he seemed honest. I called and left multiple messages for management with no luck. And now the sales representative no longer works there. Now it has been over a year. When I finally talked to a manager I was told that it has been too long since the car was purchased to be able to do anything about it. The floor mats aren't expensive, so that's not the issue. This was my first experience with Lindsay Honda. I friend who is a regular customer assisted me with scheduling an appointment with a salesman. Anthony was accomodating, courteous and professional. He took time to understand what I was looking for in both my price range and needs in a new vehicle. 5 stars to my salesmen. Now, finance on the other hand was a nightmare. The establishment is busy, so a wait was to be expected. My appointment was at 2pm and working with my salesman for roughly two hours. The additional 4 and a half hours I spent at the dealership were directly waiting on finance to finish my paperwork. We were notified we were next in line, our finance person was taking a restroom break due to such a demanding day, which is understandable. For the next half hour I watched her walk around the dealership, complain to her boss and prolong the process even more. When we spoke to her boss about what we were seeing and how long we had been there, he told us theres not much he could do, they had already done 60 deals that day. Finally I was called to the office to sign papers where I was met with such attitude and rude demeanor fro my "finance specialist". When confronted about her rude tone and rushed process, she began to cry. The SOBBED endlessly while trying to read and explain my paperwork. I told her this was an important step and I needed to be able to understand her. She left. Her boss returned, even more rushed, unable to explain why things were not itemized properly and did nothing to make my finance experience any less stressful. I have never been part of such a terrible situation leaving me wishing ONLY due to finance that I had stayed in my hometown, 40 mins away and not even made the trip. It wasn't until I told them I was considering backing out of the deal that the car finally showed up. They also told me there would be no issue with the title, then 2 days after I get home, they called and said there was more I had to do with the BMV, and that I missed steps in the process - even though I specifically asked, and was specifically told before I left everything was fine. This was the 1st of 3 Honda dealers I visited today (also see Hugh White and Roush Honda). I was in the market for a new car and had sort of settled on a new Honda Accord. Before pulling the trigger, however, I wanted to visit a couple of dealers to get some competitive pricing. First - the good stuff. The Lindsay dealership is beautiful. They did a great job of converting the old Scarborough Mall into a car dealership - it's truly a great place to shop for a car. All of the cars are INSIDE -- there's no roaming an outdoor lot in wet or cold weather. The salesman was very pleasant and professional but was relatively new and didn't seem to be extremely knowledgeable about the cars. He did an acceptable job. On the flip side - this was the only dealer of the 3 with any 2016 models left in inventory. We particularly liked one of the '16 models and expressed interest. The sales guys "talked to his manager" and gave us their bottom line price. When I explained that they were the 1st of 3 stops on my agenda for the the day, the sales manager immediately got directly involved and the price came down considerably from their bottom line. He explained that their likelihood of making a sale was while we were still there and that if we left - we weren't as likely to come back. Bottom line -- we stuck to our plan and headed to the next dealership. Spoiler alert - we did ultimately buy a car later that day and -- the next 2 dealers both offered better pricing on 2017 Accords than Lindsay did on the 2016 close-out model. read more

Unfortunately if there is something wrong with the vehicle that should be covered under factory warranty they won't honor any statements or agreements that they made prior to the sale, they won't answer the phone or return any calls. I recently purchased a new 2021 Honda Passport Elite from Lindsay Honda. The decision has turned out to be a complete nightmare! Unfortunately my new Passport came from the Honda manufacturer with some cosmetic defects that were covered by plastic pieces during the initial test drive. Upon closing the deal on the new Passport I also opted for their Ceramasil protection program for both the exterior and interior. Once we got the new vehicle home is when we started noticing the defects, the first being a scuff on the bottom passenger door down to the metal. We also noticed a gap along the dashboard speaker and the new leather seats had indentations in them in various places. These are not acceptable for a brand new vehicle and we called the dealership back immediately. The Lindsay Honda dealership as well as our sales person Anthony and sales Manager Eric Tinker both stated they would make things right and fix the issues. We had to drive the vehicle back over an hour and Lindsay Honda kept the vehicle for several days and assured us everything was fixed. We picked up the vehicle this past Friday 08/13/21 and noticed that the dashboard speaker still has a gap and nothing was done about the leather seat indentations. In fact, we were told that a Honda representative looked at the vehicle and states those are normal and within Honda's specifications which is absurd. I do not know of anyone who is willing to pay $45k on a brand new vehicle that has cosmetic defects and not expect those to be repaired under the manufacturer warranty. I would not recommend Lindsay Honda or their staff to anyone as they do not seem to care about the customer and only getting the sale and then they wipe their hands clean of you. I know have to fight Honda Corporate on a brand new vehicle to try and get the cosmetic repairs fixed under the manufacturer warranty. At this point, I cannot even recommend purchasing a Honda for their lack of quality in their vehicles and also how their dealerships and manufacturer warranties are handled. read more

Everyone is very nice and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and get the deal done. Negative on the Service Department , got kind of a condescending attitude from them. in 2016 I purchased a 2014 Accord sport. Since I hadn't driven a manual transmission in a while I told them that I would like the warranty in case the transmission or clutch went out. They told me that the warranty would not cover wearable parts like tires and brakes. A month ago I had an issue and had the car inspected at the dealership. The dealership said they couldn't duplicate the issue but it could be the clutch and gave me an estimate to replace it. I asked about the warranty and was informed that the clutch is considered a wearable part and wouldn't be covered. I asked the person that handles complaints, Danielle, and she said they would apply the price of the warranty to another vehicle that I wanted to purchase. I picked out a vehicle and the sales Manager called me regarding the discount due to the warranty issue and offered me $700 towards another vehicle. I told them this wasn't acceptable due to me paying over $2600 for the warranty plus the tax and financing. After purchasing 4 cars here in 6 years there won't be another. read more

I was very disappointed with the person I was working with at this location ( Chris Dalrymple). I came here because I had purchased a car here a few years ago. I wanted a CRV this time . I knew what I wanted and had did my research prior to coming in. The first thing that happened, was when I asked about the LX and EX on the Urban gray color, I was told they only had the LX. It was then suggested to look at other colors for the EX. When the sales person went to the desk, I looked online myself and found the EX. It was in the new inventory that had just come in. So found the car I wanted, test drove it and was ready to move forward. Oh and let's not forget the specials that were online that I inquired about. They told me the information was incorrect. So it's on national tv and online and you falsify information to customers? Hmmmm... anyway... I was coming back the next day to pretty much sign papers and pick up the car. Interesting how things change . Instead of picking up the car and finalizing the paperwork, I was given the run around about this and that. Told about information that was irrelevant to what I needed. It's safe to say, I WILL NOT EVER buy a car from them. Be careful who you work with and know all the facts! read more

Certified vehicle only owned 2 months. Vehicle taken for service after it wouldn't start. Told it was fine. Vehicle taken back for service for a separate issue and they made my husband sit there for 2 hours and didn't fix the vehicle because they said the technician wasn't there who knew what was going on. They wasted 4 hours of our time 2 hours sitting there and an hour drive each way. And made us drive 60 miles for no reason when gas is $4.00 a gallon. Then the service manager told us a a completely different story as to way the repair was not completed that day. It was the last day of the month, and the salesman was using high pressure tactics to try to get me to walk out the door with a car today by saying their offer was only good for today only. I told the salesman several times that I was not looking to buy a car on the spot today. He followed up by asking me at what price would it take to get me to buy a car today. I reiterated again that I wasn't looking to buy the car today, but if it was a deal I couldn't refuse then I would consider doing that, so I knowingly gave him a lowball price. The salesman says he will go talk to the manager and see if they can work out something so we can get a sale done today. He comes back with Bill, his manager. Bill shakes my hand, and asks me if I was busy tonight. I said I was not busy, then the manager says "OK Goodbye!". That was completely unprofessional behavior from the manager and the entire time I felt unwelcome and was under the impression that they only wanted to get their end-of-the-month numbers up instead of helping a customer. Terrible service and incompetent technicians - I've been calling them for a week and left half a dozen messages and they are ignoring my phone calls. I brought my van in with some electrical issues 2 weeks ago. They said the problem was the rear door power module, which didn't seem right to me but they said that was the problem. I approved the repair and then they called me back and said "well, you need to replace your driver window regulator too, that's part of the problem." That seemed odd as they didnt mention that before. so then I replaced that as well, guess what? absolutely nothing has been fixed and now I've spent over $800. They are clearly "throwing stuff at the wall and hoping it fixes the problem" and they don't know what is actually wrong. I've wasted $800 and now cant get them to call me back because they know they screwed up. No one ever answers the phone and voicemails go unanswered. Additionally, they installed an aftermarket window switch I had sitting in my van without asking me or me telling them to and they threw away the factory switch. There was nothing wrong with the factory switch and now I cant return the aftermarket switch like I was planning to. Another $150 I've lost because of them. Not happy... read more

I bought a Honda Civic from Lindsay Honda April 2022. Exactly one month after having my car, someone was texting and driving, ran a red light at 40mph and t-boned me. I sent my car to Lindsay Honda to be repaired, and it took over 5 months!! To just get a supplement sent to the insurance company. I waited over 5 months just for them to deem it a total loss because Lindsay Honda was negligent and let my car sit at the shop while telling me that they were waiting for insurance, which was not true. Once my car was deemed a total loss, I wanted to get my exact same Civic again. I was working with Lindsay Honda again to find it because I believe there is something to be said about loyalty. It takes over 2 months to get my car in. I am now living over 2.5 hours away from the dealership. I get the call that the car has arrived the first week of December. They tell me they will not sell the car or hold it over the phone. I have to drive down and be there physically to make any deal. Over the phone, they told me they will take $500 off of their "required" Ceramiseal package. When I get there, they tell me the best they can do is "$200 off". Mind you, when I bought the required Ceramiseal back in April. It was $2000. Now they raised it to $2500 for the exact same thing. Additionally, they increased their interest rates and MSRP on the EXACT SAME CAR. They are selling me the exact same car for $4000 MORE than what I paid in April. This dealership has the most disrespectful and slimy management I have ever encountered. They took advantage of my situation and I will never forget how I was treated. I will NOT be returning to Lindsay Honda ever again and I will continue to encourage everyone I know to stay far away from them. read more

They have signs up saying no haggle prices but you can haggle down.. I came here because of a good deal but the salesman in this situation (Rachel) did not do much to sell the vehicle.. When asking her questions she didn't really know much about the individual features in a vehicle. And that's alright, but I did not see much effort in wanting to research that information to get back to the customer with that eagerness which wins a customer. The vehicle sold itself in this vehicle. Her manager seemed much nicer but we don't interact with them at all really. I bought a new Honda CRV from them in May and was lied to twice, I later learned after taking it in for the first oil change. The sales manager was trying to make the sale for the salesman who was with someone else at the time. He said he'd give me oil changes for the life of the car for $29.95 and wrote it on his card. I found out later that is the regular price of an oil change and only an oil change. Everything else like tire rotation etc. is in addition to that. He didn't write "for the life of the car or however long you own it" on the card so that probably doesn't mean squat. I wanted a heated steering wheel and the model they had didn't have it. They took it back to the garage to have it installed, so they told me. I never could figure out how it worked from the manual so when I took it in for the oil change, they guys in the garage said it was never installed.
