While I respect that every salon has the right to operate according to its own policies, that approach does not align with my expectations for safe nail removal and the health of my natural nails. We simply disagreed on what constitutes proper nail care. What is particularly disappointing is that after our conversation, the owner's public response to my review appears to have been removed. Customers deserve transparency, especially when a business publicly acknowledges a concern and then later removes that acknowledgment. I appreciate that the owner initially reached out, but the conversation did not address my concerns, and my experience remains unchanged. The salon itself appeared clean, and the massage chair was comfortable. However, the pedicure felt very rushed. The entire service took under 30 minutes, including very little massage, despite paying $52. During the service, the technician drilled off the shellac from my nails, which left my nails feeling hot and sore afterward. I was not informed that shellac removal would be an additional charge. At checkout, I was told there was an extra $5 fee for the removal. When I questioned the charge, the technician stated that she had informed me of the fee. The manager eventually came over and addressed the situation. I was also asked to pay before my nails were sufficiently dry, making it difficult to leave without risking damage to the polish. Overall, the service felt rushed and the communication regarding the additional charge was not clear. For the price, I expected a more thorough and professional experience.
