A few people over the last couple of years have told me about Lindsey's...and kinda gave me their story. To be honest I usually require delivery and I just assumed it was too far for them. Welp, I gave em a call and sure enough they deliver to me...AND they have free delivery - so jackpot. When I looked at the menu online I noticed they were a bit pricey compared to their competitors. Then I quickly didn't care when I saw they had capicola as a topping. So I got a large with pep, cap and mushroom...$19. When it arrived I easily saw why it was priced that way. The large is huge - probably feed at least three probably four. More than worth the price. The pizza was fantastic. Thicker than I expected but it had a nice crust on it. The pep/cap combo was righteous...I will be doing that every time. Solid overall flavor and really good crust/sauce/cheese/topping ratio. I have family that lives in Canton, OH and when we visit we have to get Lindsey's Pizza. The people that work there are great and they also have a drive up window which speeds up the take out process. We always get their salad with their house dressing. The dressing is amazing and they are very generous with the shredded mozzarella which makes a boring salad heavenly. Their pizza is that type of pizza that is worth every last calorie and totally diet "cheat" day worthy. Lindsey's pizza has the perfect marry and balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. The buttery crust is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My mouth is watering as I write this review. The crust is just the right thickness, sauce is flavorful and not overly sweet, and ordering extra cheese is clutch. You get a hefty, square slice that will leave you in a pizza daze. As much as I liked this place before as much as I am very disappointed today. I had ordered half chicken half veg and after over an hour delivery I had received all chicken. I called the place right away as the delivery guy started driving away to let them know I have the wrong Pizza. The girl was nice and said let me talk to my manager and got back saying that they will send a new one. I specifically asked if she wants me to send the old one back and her answer was no you can keep it. My husband started eating it when I got a phone call from the manager explaining that a new guy is working and he added the chicken on top of the veg. Not only asking me to make sure no veg under the chicken he also asked to send it back. The pizza I have is all chicken and no vegetables under it. Now I have to wait for another 30 minutes and stare at the pizza that I already have. I work in a guest services and restaurants for the past 12 years and never had treated a guest like that. Had Lindsey's for the first time today. It was just "OK". Before writing further, I should say that I am a pizza connoisseur. I grew up in Akron. Guiseppe's, Galluch, Emidio's, Luigi's, etc. is my standard. Since I have not been able to find even one legit pizza in Massillon, I decided to take the trip to Canton and try Lindsey's based on their good reviews. Of the five elements of a decent pizza (crust, sauce, cheese, ingredients and price), Lindsey's does well on 3 (hence my star rating above). The two areas I "dinged" them for are sauce (too much garlic which hides what seemed might be pretty good sauce, a common issue with pizza joints), and the price (I paid $14 for a small two-item pizza, which is about twice the price at any of the above mentioned places). The crust was excellent and the pepperoni was perfect. Fair amount of good quality cheese. Definitely better than any of the pizza chains, but not worth the drive from Massillon for me. I guess I would go again if I was in Canton and wanted pizza. read more

Until recently I had three favorite pizza places around Canton. I have recently been disappointed by Pizza Oven, crust was greasy and just not as good as it used to be, and Angello's, crust to die for, but the sauce was too garlicky and sweet. I went their after reading the reviews and I'm super surprised anyone would recommend ordering this pizza with lite sauce. I ordered pizza with normal sauce and got an extremely lite sauce. I had to call and have it replaced and a new one was made with what was suppose to be the regular amount of sauce. It was much better but still lite, in my opinion. Personally, I found the pizza somewhat dry, due to lack of sauce. Maybe some people like their pizza like that? If you want to try it, I would recommend asking for heavy sauce. I figured the store was busy due to the Super Bowl and thought we were calling early enough or would have been told you needed to stop taking orders early due to the the amount of orders you had to process. Pizza was great, generous with the ingredients. We love green olives on pizza and some places only have black olives, so that is a plus. We also like greek salads and that is not always available at other pizzerias. Pizza and salad was very good. Had it delivered, pizza was perfect temperature and the driver was friendly. I recently visited Canton from Indianapolis and I can honestly say, this is one of the best two pizzas I have ever had. I ordered the extreme bianca, which is a different kind of pizza. It is made using fresh tomato, instead of tomato paste. A welcome change to your everyday ketchup and cracker pizza joint. The crust was perfectly browned. The service was fantastic, the owner John was a pleasure to visit with. It was about 15 minutes from the moment I walked in until a delicious pizza was headed out the door. I was even given plates and napkins, as he knew I was staying in a hotel without flatware or plates. My only complaint is there is no seating or dining room. But the pizza and service more than makes up for the lack of dining area. The signage inside leaves the impression that the owner donates to many charity organizations and is involved with the community. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in Canton visiting, it just can't be beat. read more

I've said it on Google Reviews and I will say it here..... Lindsey's Pizza absolutely makes one of...if not....the best pizza, chicken, and wing dinners that our family has ever tasted. The local owner Jon Lindsey maintains and extremely well run clean establishment with extremely low employee turnover. Extremely convenient drive up window service makes it super easy to pick up your order. Pizzas are more than generously made with fresh ingredients and seem to weigh more than twice that of any competing pizza we ever had. Never a need for us to ask for that extra sauce or extra cheese like we had to at competing locations. Lindsey's has become our favorite choice of weekly Saturday night carry out. read more

I can't comment on the food since we didn't receive it. My dad ordered a sheet pizza half pepperoni half sausage. We were told 1 hour we ordered it at 4:55 we arrived at 6:05 the gentleman behind the counter called back to the worker in the back how long for our pizza and they replied 45 minutes. The gentleman at the counter said he would get it to us in 20 minutes. I asked my dad if he just wanted to forget about it. The guy behind the counter face became red and he snapped what do you mean forget about it. I stated they told us an hour and it had been longer than that. He then began to swear at me ( to me taking the Lord's name in vain is swearing ). I simply said please don't swear at me, he said he didn't and said it's Superbowl Sunday give me a break. I told him that I understood that I was simply asking him not to swear at me. He then threw money at my dad and said get out of here. My dad gave the guy $40 for the pizza and he only gave him $30 back. My dad asked if he could have all of his money back the guy the gave his money back to my dad and said "get out, your the first rude customer that I've had all day" I stated that I wasn't rude at all I just asked him not to swear at me. He then stated don't come back. Which made me laugh since I would never have a desire to go back there when we were treated so rudely. read more
