There's no one else I trust more than Jennifer Martinez!! She's always left me feeling happy and excited even when I've gone to her not knowing what I want. She's always keeping up with the latest hair trends/techniques, so any time I've wanted to try something new or different she's always come through. I've never been disappointed. What I love the most is that she's so detail oriented!!! That's always a major plus for me, I love when I see stylists spending the last few minutes really looking at their work. I guess I just feel like I'm in good hands when they do that, and she does it each time. Even with basic trims and hair glazes to keep my hair fresh in between months!! I've gone to her with long locks, and for the past year she's been helping me grow out a pixie, fixing all those awkward phases. Can't wait till she can work her magic on my hair again!! I'm so grateful to Jennifer for the work she did with my hair. I was in town just a few days and really needed a color correction, so after a little bit research online I booked with her -- a bit if a gamble! Not only did she do a great job with my hair, she was really patient in hearing me out & working to understand what look i was after. She listened & also made gentle suggestions: colored roots/grays, toned down my all over hair color and added low lights. I really love the result! Jennifer is personable & professional ad was her assistant. I want to add that the receptionist was also great when I initially called. Moved down into Houston and did some research on the internet for someone with Vidal Sassoon experience - not everyone knows hot to cut straight hair, it's an art - and took my time to find someone... I - AM - THRILLED!!! I went to see Jim Bagley at his Linear Salon in the Heights, and it's as if he read my mind... the highlights are exactly what I wanted and the cut is perfect. Such a great experience from start to finish! I called and told the women about my hair and concerns with a new stylist (I have some baddd experiences in the past). She was very understanding and suggested JENIFER! So great, listened to everything I asked, very thorough. After a few days and washings, I noticed it felt heavy and called to get it fixed, NO ISSUES! Such an amazing, nice, clean salon. I made an appointment on Monday for Tuesday super easily! I went to Jennifer Martinez for a cut and color and she did wonders! I had some pretty rough highlights that see made beautiful and more natural with a darker glaze. My cut was additionally exceptional! she helped my sad front bangs to become more angled and flattering while they grow out! Linear salon is the hair saloon I have been searching for in Houston! Jim, the owner, clearly cares about you as a person and is incredibly talented in both cut and color. Love this salon! I went in Friday for a cut and color. Jennifer did an exceptional job!! I'm so happy with the work she did. The space is gorgeous and everyone there does an amazing job of making the clients comfortable. Jennifer did balayage and gave me a little tune up with a cut and long layers. Jennifer is my go-to gal. She does a fabulous job with color (Im a blonde and it is NOT easy to get it right but she knows exactly what to do and how to do it!). Linear was down the street and I went to Jennifer for a cut initially, and was so pleased that I went back for a cut and balayage color. I was nervous because I was going lighter than usual. I've seen all 3 stylists at Linear (Jim, Jen, Lina) and I always walk away looking and feeling FAB. I have super blonde hair and I'm somewhat high maintenance. The team here is very consultative and they help me figure out what will look best with my face shape, skin tone and long-term hair goals.
