I had an appointment at Lindsey Salon on May 13th with Ella for babylights, but she recommended face-framing highlights instead, which I agreed to. I was in a rush that day, so I only briefly saw the front pieces after a quick blow-dry before leaving. Once I got home and styled my hair, I noticed the highlights were very uneven, with one side noticeably lighter than the other. I reached out to have it corrected, but the available times didn't work with my travel plans. I was later advised to request a refund (paid cash but couldn't go back to pick it up as I was already out of town), the front desk was kind and apologetic about the situation. I am disappointed with the final result, these are not blended the way I wanted. Just experience overall was bad. P.S. I've emailed them and haven't gotten a response back. read more

I won't trust anyone else to do my highlights. Eric has been doing them for several years (I followed him from a different salon... 2 salons ago . I'm so picky about my hair that, if I need them done and he's out of town or not available, I'll adjust my schedule as necessary. ... and, when people stop me to ask me who does my highlights (it happens a lot,) I direct them to The Lindsey Salon. I came here to get a new style and haircut and had a discussion with my stylist about just taking off two inches and creating some long layers. I showed him an inspiration picture and it did NOT turn out. I came out with a super choppy 80s style shag that I am absolutely miserable with. I lost all of the length I had in front. I did go back to get it fixed, but I was scared to lose any more length and she basically just made the shag look a tiny bit better. I absolutely hate my hair and called last week on Tuesday to speak to someone about getting a refund since none of this is what we had discussed. I was informed that I mattered to them and the owner would call me the next day. Well, 5 days later I still haven't gotten a call back and I paid to have my hair destroyed. I'm super unhappy with the customer service and general service at this point. Long layers shouldn't be that hard. I'm posting my hair before, my inspiration photo and my hair after - where the only length I have is a little uneven sliver of hair that I pull from the back. read more

I had long, healthy hair when I decided to go in for some color in preparation for a wedding. I was advised to get the full Balayage and a haircut for better results. I have a lot of hair so I knew the process would take long (+8 hours!) the problem here is not the time but the fact that my hair was completely FRIED...my brown, long, healthy strands were now platinum, stringy and falling apart when I had asked for caramel tone and the least aggressive process. The stylist was frustrated due to the extreme tangling and breakage going on, but instead of apologizing or acknowledging the issue, he instead decided to be rude and rough on my hair. I could hear the strands breaking and I regret not speaking up. Stylists around us were aware of what was going on but instead of stepping in they just kept cheering him on and saying how great of a job he was doing (great team support, but not focused on the client) After 8 hours of intense pain and frustration I just wanted to leave, I didn't even get the blow-dry. I paid for the Balayage and a haircut and I tipped him well in cash (I am very respectful of people's time and thought this could be fixed another day if necessary) I was even told to buy product to help with breakage...I saw the end result once I got home and just started crying. The stylist ignored my messages so I reached out to the owner and he also ignored me, instead he asked the receptionist to offer me a hydrating treatment and call it a day. I was told a refund was not possible because they needed to pay their stylist, all I got was half of the haircut's cost; it doesn't matter, no refund could reverse the extreme damage my hair suffered but a sincere apology would've been nice. It's been almost a year since the incident, my hair is still damaged, burnt and has not grown ever since. I will not be going back...mistakes happen all the time...lack of empathy is what I find unacceptable. read more

This was my first time coming to The Lindsey Salon. I hadn't had a haircut in over a year due to Covid. I booked an appointment with a specific hair stylist (Misha?) because my daughter booked with her and was pleased with her hair cut. Unfortunately, for me I was not so lucky. I asked for the exact same haircut but that's not what I got. 1. She barely even cut any hair off and when I questioned it, she said she would be cutting it again after she blow dried it. That didn't happen. 2. Without asking me, She leaves me with someone in training to style my hair so she could go work on someone else's hair! I don't know about you, but when I book an appointment with a specific person for $110 that's who I expect to see from start to finish. Especially on my first visit! 3. Although the young lady in training was very nice, she didn't style my hair right and was very slow! My appointment ran over by about 30 minutes making me late to my next appointment! 4. When Misha comes back to me, I'm expecting her to finish cutting my hair but to my surprise she said she was finished! I complained about the style so she fixed it and asked me if I thought I needed her to cut more hair. How would I know when my hair is now in curls?! (Which fell out by the time I reached my next appointment) I would expect her to tell me what needs to be taken off! I couldn't help but feel like the other was priority over me. 5.Now that's it's been a while since that visit and I have washed and styled my own hair, I can definitely say that she did not do a thorough job cutting my hair. The whole back of my head still has dead, split ends and all I can do with it is straighten it and put it in a ponytail because it won't hold a curl. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed. This place is extremely over priced for a simple haircut. They need to rethink who they have working the front desk. I was not impressed. I won't be going back. read more

I had my hair done and it went from blonde to strawberry. I tried to schedule for a redo for over 3 weeks but due to their schedule and my schedule just got in today. The girl that did my hair and the manager couldn't "see" the strawberry even though everyone else could. I didn't go in to get more highlights, I wanted the color fixed. I was told that since it had been so long it would be a "touch up" since the manager saw "new growth". The informed me that will be $85 plus the cost of the blow dry and style. I went in with strawberry hair and walked out with it. I'll never go back. They lost a customer who paid a hefty price for a color I didn't want, $385, plus $40 tip and bought $40 of product. read more

Hate to leave a bad review but reality is I did not have a good experience with the services. I'll start with the good; front staff is helpful, nice and welcoming. The stylist was also very nice, but I walked out with worse hair, the opposite of what I came in for with a dent in my wallet. I already had a balayage, wanted a touch up , go slightly lighter after growing out my hair. I walked away with dark, almost black ends, faint chunky ashy highlights on the top. I also asked for my bangs not to be cut too thick, he ignored me and said he'll worry about that when he gets to cutting the front, then did exactly what I asked him not to do. Took me months to grow out my hair, it's now damaged, choppy with bad balayage. Been looking at work on Instagram for months, it's beyond me why the work shown is amazing but my hair turned out horrendous. Went to another salon to get it fixed, waste of money, never again. read more
