Y'all, this place is IT! This is my new go-to Thai spot. I visited Linjee last Sunday, and I must say I was VERY IMPRESSED! I ordered the drunken noodles with beef. Every bite was DELICIOUSLY SEASONED and plentiful too! When I couldn't eat all of it, I took it home, where I finished it off. I also had a specialty cocktail. It was DELICIOUS as well. Love this place! Went here during their soft opening and I found myself there three times in the last week. The pork belly is my favorite! The beef drunken noodles are also really good. The place is very elegant and great for dates as well. I'm wasnt the biggest fan of thai food but this place made me change mind. Had much, much better in the VA area- this was a disappointment. The drunken noodles were too mushy, falling apart by just picking them up with chopsticks, and they were drenched in sauce. When I'm in a new place or a new Thai restaurant sprouts up, I always order the Pad Thai first to test how authentic the cooking is and culinary level of the restaurant. Of course I ordered the Pad Thai, my total was $17 pre tax. $17 for a Pad Thai!!! That's outrageous. Even for NOVA standards. Being $17 you'd expect it to be delicious right? Right?? Wrong, the Pad Thai noodles were watery and not sautéed at all. The noodles being watery threw off the whole flavor of the dish. The sauce to go with the noodles was generic and uninteresting. It really tasted like one of the kits you'd buy at the grocery store and cook at home. Just horrible. The beautiful thing I've found about Pad Thai is, every restaurant makes it a little differently and they put their own spin on it. This was nothing like that, and just tasted like it was made with no effort. (Like right out of a box as I said before.) Overall I had a poor experience and maybe they can fix a couple of their glaring problems such as pricing and food quality. They have a beautiful interior inside, perfect for photos. Unfortunately, I think that is the only draw to this establishment. 2 Stars for putting something on the plate and a beautiful interior. read more

We had an enjoyable experience at Linjee Thai. I discovered it via Instagram, and much hype was given about the vibe and the food. To me, It felt like it was still working out the kinks of a new restaurant. Upon entry at around 5:30 (Before a show for date night), the young man at the host's station was pretty nonchalant; not rude but not welcoming either. The decor was modern and trendy. The music was a nice mix of r&b and contemporary tunes - loud enough to hear and still have a conversation. The food was definitely not up to par in terms of flavor or spice. Given that the restaurant was pretty empty, I was surprised how long the service took for the meal as well as drinks. I'm new to Thai food so I tried something different and everything was great. My friends also like enjoyed their meals. The all day happy hour was definitely enticing.
