This is by far one of the nicest restaurants in Northern Virginia. The ambience is amazing. The art deco decor is beautiful, the bar is huge and well stocked, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I've visited several times and never been disappointed. The Chicken Pad Thai and the Beef Drunken Noodles were yummy. The Tom Khaa Soup was great. You can't go wrong with any appetizers or bar drinks. Very family friendly, new and clean. We got take out based on the reviews and have to say we were very underwhelmed. The curry had a weird texture and flavor, and the beef was chewy. The food was terrible. I took two bites and tossed everything out. I have never done that before. We ordered pad linjee vegetable and linjee fried rice. It was the worst food I've ever had. There was no flavor and the ingredients tasted low quality. There was no lychee in the fried rice and only a few pieces of tofu that tasted sour. It was basically just a mountain of rice. The pad linjee did not come with any rice on the side. It was just frozen vegetables in a watery flavorless sauce. I am appalled by how much they are charging for these dishes ($17) Will never return or recommend. I would recommend ordering take out Chinese food for half the price and way better food. read more

This place is amazing! The aesthetics, service, food and drinks were all spectacular. Treated my friend to a birthday dinner, so we ordered several dishes and some of our favorite dishes were the crab rangoons, pad Thai, and papaya salad. Our server, TJ was extremely attentive and friendly and probably could've spent hours there because he made our first time there so much fun. I tried this place last night based off of the reviews on yelp and ordered the pangang curry. It was delicious, not as sweeet as I'm used too but that doesn't take away from how good it was. I chose the vegetable option, the vegetables were cooked perfectly as I prefer mine with little to no crunch. The rice was just enough and also cooked perfectly. I should have known there would be issues when she didn't ask what level of spice I wanted. When my husband went to pick up the food, he was shocked to learn they don't take Apple Pay. He said the employee was arrogant and rude. The food was hideously nasty. As others mentioned, the pad Thai had ZERO flavor. Would have been nice to know there were peanuts but found them after I was done eating. Anyone with a peanut allergy would tell you they have one. Who puts lemon on their pad Thai? I had to douse my food in chili powder so I could get any down. No clue what company they paid for their reviews, but clearly they never ate here. My husband's beef on his drunken noodle was very tough. And again, very little flavor and super greasy. I have 4-5 other Thai places near me. Sarah and Mo did a wonderful job with recommendations and making sure everything came out right. The food had just the right amount of flavor and the drinks were incredible. I look forward to trying their alcohol selection next time. They have a modern look that makes the customer feel comfortable. The last major point was how clean it was. We've been to several that are solid, but tonight we found one that is EXCELLENT. It is Linjee Thai - see the link. It's located in the shopping center just past Landmark over 395 where Duke turns to Little River Trpk. They've only been there for a few months. The decor is beautiful and new, the place is open and comfortable and most importantly the food is top notch and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend giving it a shot. The food is very mediocre, there's nothing to write home about. The drinks is just as bad! I had the pineapple margarita and did not taste an ounce of alcohol, nor did I get a buzz. I ordered the chili chicken wings and they were good just missing spice. I also ordered the drunken noodles and they were flavorless, chewy and lacking sauce and spice and I requested level one spice. I ordered the pork kabobs to go with my drunken noodles and they were tough and lacking flavor. Don't attempt to be the least enticed by the posts on Instagram; looks are definitely deceiving. I give 2 stars for the great services rendered by the waiter, for the cleanliness of the establishment and for their great marketing guy who was sitting at the table next to me, creating great content to post on instagram. It's a one and done experience for me. The place has potential to be great but they MUST hire highly experienced chefs and bartenders that loves what they do and is very good at.
