    Garlic Peppery

Service here was pretty good! Our server was extremely kind and friendly. She checked on us regularly. Forgot a couple things at one point (sauces), but that's never a huge deal to me if I don't have to wait too long. Now for the food: It's a solid MEH for me. I ordered the kratiem prik Thai (garlic peppery), which comes with rice. This is my favorite Thai dish, which normally tells me all I need to know about a place. Got the lunch special at $14.95, which includes a spring roll. Paid $4 extra for Tom Yum, too. Garlic peppery: NOPE! It wasn't bad but the rice was overcooked and the dish, itself, was lacking flavor. I'm used to this dish being very flavorful and, dare I say, garlicky? This was neither. Added soy sauce and chili and it was still under seasoned/flavored. And at $14.95, which was only like 1-2 bucks less than the full entree price, I was not impressed. Tom Yum: lots of chicken but not as much flavor as I'm used to. There are better Tom Yuma in the area for sure. Spring roll: basic. Could've passed on it altogether. They put the sauce on it instead of serving on the side, too, in case that's not your thing. Thai tea: $5 but pass. The cup was so full of ice and the tea itself tasted like sweet orange milk with a hint of Thai tea. Decor: very cute and they have a patio! The floral decor was cute and clean. Mango mojito: $16. Yikes. These are almost city prices and it wasn't strong lol In all, not a bad experience but not an impressive one. Definitely wouldn't go out of my way for it. Not worth the $35 I ended up paying for it (this is for everything listed above except the mojito).

Everything is delicious! I can't believe I forgot to order dessert. Chicken Satay: 10/10 grilled to perfection it also comes with 2 dipping sauces. One is a peanut sauce and the other is a sweet, tangy and refreshing sauce. Hangover Noodle Khee Mao: 8/10. I ordered mild and it was medium hot but I fought through the pain. Panang Curry: 9/10 probably the best Panang Curry I've had in DC. You won't reject it!

I love the Soul vibe they have going on. The customer service was wonderful. The food is fantastic. We had the larb salmon. Flavors were spectacular. We also had the chive dumplings, spicy basil fried rice with seafood. Some of the best Thai tea around. A must place go for eats.

The aestheic inside is cute and the customer service is great. The servers are pleasant and PLEASE GET THE MANGO STICKY RICE! Also highly recommend tbejr Thai Iced Tea Lychee.

Best dish on our first visit here was the duck rolls. I've never been much of a fan of duck meat, but these rolls were really good. I'd order them again. Soul Thai's interior is warm and inviting with rich wood and faux hanging plants. Service was great, our servers were smiling and welcoming. Our other appetizer was the fried calamari rings. These were fresh and hot and came with a sweet dipping sauce and a spicy dipping sauce. The Massaman Beef Curry was pretty good. Though it tasted great, some, but not all of the beef pieces were tough. The Khao Soi was very good. A little bit of the chicken was refrigerator cool, but it wasn't worth it to me to send it back. The sauce was great and I liked all the crispy fried noodles in the dish. I think that Soul Thai could cut the size of this entrée down a bit. It really is a hefty helping. JP ordered a Thai margarita. This creamy concoction was delicious. Loved the light sprinkles of dried lime and salt on the glass rim. Unfortunately, this drink is a special and will be only available this month. Soul Thai should consider making this cocktail a full time cast member. I also ordered the Thai Iced Coffee, which was excellent.

Fried tofu appetizer, very tasty, fresh, not overly fried. This and a soup were enough to be a meal.

This is a nice neighborhood spot. This is a weird observation but something that impressed me is that they had all these hanging faux florals everywhere and normally those are huge dust collectors but these were completely dust free so they must be really on top of cleaning. I will say that we were sat at an odd table - they have three booths that share a wall with the kitchen and the wall has this open trellis work that goes straight through so all the kitchen noises, smells (including like soap smells) and anything venting came thru to our table like we were sitting in the kitchen and not in a good, chef's table way. We couldn't hear each other and asked to move so then they put us in this semi-private room off the main room by ourselves. I do not understand that design choice. As a result of being in the separate room I think service suffered a little. My other caveat is that this wasn't the most veg friendly menu for a Thai place (I'm pescatarian) Some of my favorite dishes, like massamun curry, automatically came with meat rather than a choice of protein, and the house specials were exclusively meaty. There were some other customizable options- curries and noodle dishes. But more limited than some other Thai places. I had had a big snack before we went and we also ordered appetizers so I ended up ordering a tom kha shrimp soup and a fried tofu appetizer. Honestly? This was really really satisfying and I couldn't finish so I would seriously consider that same combo if I came back again in a hungrier state. It is hard to believe that fried tofu can vary that much but this was especially good - fresh with good texture and am ample portion. Same goes for my soup. Really tasty and a nice portions for the price. My husband ordered a flat noodle dish that was similar to drunken noodles but slightly different and he enjoyed it and enjoyed that it offered some variety. We also got a papaya salad appetizer that was solid and not painfully spicy like in some places. Our grilled squid appetizer was lackluster - not bad, just not especially tender or flavorful - and that is the one thing I would recommend passing on. All in all I would come back here next time we are craving Thai because the food is good and portions are ample for the price. However, I might consider other places instead depending on the dish and/or vibe I am seeking.

Soul Thai Kitchen & Bar, located at Dominion Hills Centre on Wilson Blvd in Arlington, offers authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine in a welcoming setting with hanging pots and modern lighting. Its cozy atmosphere, and popular dishes such as Grilled Squid, Drunken Noodles, Panang Curry, Soft-Shell Crab, and authentic Thai desserts like Mango with Pandan sticky rice and Coconut Custard with sweet sticky rice have made it a favorite in the neighborhood.

We've come here twice, for my dad's birthday and my grandma's birthday. The space is cozy with cute and whimsical decor. I especially like the floral decorations hanging from the ceiling and the walls. The servers were very friendly and the food and drinks came out fast. My family is usually pretty picky since they usually only eat Vietnamese food but they like this spot enough to come back twice :) We're especially fans of the Tom Yum and Tom Kha, and the noodles are flavorful but not heavy or greasy. On both occasions they gave us free desserts, which is always appreciated. Definitely planning to keep this as one of my go-to Thai places!

Food was amazing!!! Our family had a great time at this restaurant. We ordered the grilled octopus and it was the highlight of the dinner! We have been searching for a good place and we're delighted that we finally found it. We also ordered other dishes and they were yummy. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the nice breeze. Staff were very nice and friendly! Highly recommend if you are in town.

Highly recommend! Came here for a birthday dinner and they did a phenomenal job taking care of us! Food was delicious and generous servings for the price. The employees were all very kind and helpful. Inside decor is SO cute I loved the vibe of it all. Good amount of seating

This place is really cute. Not only is it cute but the food omg was ohhh sooo good. I had the pad Thai add shrimp and Chinese broccoli. I could have ate with or with out the shrimp it was that good. W ki had the crispy pork appetizer sooo good and I usually won't get pork. Steak salad for something different and refreshing. Not only were the drinks put together well they tasted amazing. My sangria soooooo good an it had vodka in it and I'm not. Vodka girly but this was soooo good! We ate outside and it was so nice out The inside is beautifully put together and decorated. Customer service as very good. We had a great experience here and I hope to have many more as I try more dishes.

Probably the Best Thai food I have had!! The place is so cute with all kinds of decorations, plants, words of wisdom and paintings and the greeters are so welcoming. We were a party of 6 so we called ahead for reservations. When we arrived our table was already set and we were seated in a private section of the restaurant. For appetizers we ordered Calamari and Spring rolls, which arrived pretty promptly. For our main course everyone ordered their own but I got the green curry with chicken and my daughter got the drunken noodles with chicken. Even after the first bite, I could tell this food was special and really enjoyed the meal. Since no one was sharing, the only dibs I made were at my daughters dish who was sitting next to me, so got to experience the drunken noodles as well. The portions are huge and though we were in no mood of sharing, none of us could finish their meals and we made the remaining to go. We had a nice chat at the front desk too, and I encouraged them to open a spot in Fairfield County, CT. So if they end up opening one, you all know who to thank!!

Tofu Pad Thai and Panang Curry with Tofu. Curry is good with spicy kick.

Delicious Thai food! The Pad Thai was flavorful and cooked well and not dry or greasy, even my 5 year old picky daughter enjoyed it. The Panang Curry had a spicy kick. The tofu was a bit stiff and would just get the veggies without the tofu next time.

Each order comes as one large deboned piece of meat, which is then cut into bite-sized pieces--easy to eat by hand or with a fork. They're available in a variety of flavors. I ordered them dry and got several sauces on the side to mix things up. Highly recommend. Seating - The restaurant has a surprising amount of seating. There's just as much indoor seating as there is outdoor, and possibly even more inside thanks to the bar and high-top tables. It's a great spot to start your night, end your night, or enjoy happy hour with friends after work. Service - For a bar, I thought the service was really good. Multiple waiters checked in on us, and we never had to wait for water or anything else. The recommendations they gave were great, and they stayed attentive throughout the night--even though it was moderately busy when we went. Pro tip: Be prepared to sit inside if you're hoping for a meaningful conversation--the street noise outside is quite loud. Between the main thoroughfare and the neighboring restaurants in the same alcove, it can get pretty noisy. If you value good conversation, you'll definitely want to opt for indoor seating. Pro tip: There isn't much parking in the area, so give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes when planning your visit.

It has become the definitive home base for several of my local groups, and for good reason. The "No Agenda - Just Coffee" Crowd Since October 2025, this has been the quarterly meeting point for a group I help organize (2 entire meetings so far!). We bring together a mix of IT-centric CxOs, startup founders, innovators, govtech, thought leaders, and industry insiders. The beauty of the space is that it handles the "no structure, no rules" vibe perfectly. We show up, grab pastries, and just hang out. It's a low-key break from the grind, and the staff handles the morning rush with impressive efficiency. The Sunday Morning Tactical Post-Game Every Sunday at 6:30am, Northside serves as the rally point for our F3 The Capital workout group.
