Nice chips and sauce, similar to chow mein at Panda Imperial. The lunch specials are served with Kimlan soy sauce and Underwood Ranches brand sriracha. They grew chiles for the more famous national brand. As a midwestern guy I am not qualified to discuss soy that is not Kikkoman. Cashew chicken is red and pretty good.

Take out only but delicious fast fresh yummy. Family own business that has been here for the ages in Spring Valley shopping center.

Door sign states pick-up only but lady in front area said dine-in for small groups. Hidden in the corner, this place wasn't busy at all. Clean dining area. Our waitress lady was very sweet & friendly. Ordered combo plates moo goo chicken & pepper wings. Egg rolls & potstickers were included. Overall food was good

This mom and pop family restaurant is pumping out great Chinese food for a very reasonable price. They were very friendly and attentive. We had lunch here and they offered many lunch specials from $5-7.50. All specials came with fried rice, soup, egg roll, and pot sticker. White rice is also an option. The soup was egg flower soup and it was well made with lots of chicken flavor. Our entree was their Yu Shiang Chicken. It was in a dark brown soy based n garlic sauce. There were fresh onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers with the sliced chicken breast meat. It had a little bit of a tangy spice kick to it but it was well made. I would prefer a little less sauce on my plate only because the sauce tends to run all over the bottom of the plate, and overwhelm the entire dish with sauce including the side of rice on the other side of the plate. It's still a great dish! The decor is a bit dated but it reminds me of the old school Chinese restaurants you would see in the movies. Once you start eating, you should forget about the decor and focus on the great authentic food. It's a very nice mom n pop shop.

Food was really good. Sesame chicken wasn't soggy or drenched in sauce. It wasn't too sweet either---delicious!

Salt and pepper wings!…read more I can't believe it took me so long to try this place until I saw The Taco Fiend do the Salt and Pepper wings ranking for San Diego. This place did not disappoint! I would say Top 3 places I've tried in SD. Their noodles and fried rice is also solid. The lady that had been at the counter every time I go is fast and efficient. The place has dim lighting, quiet and a good amount of tables for dine in. They have their own parking lot and always plenty of space.

Their lunch value meals are served all day, and you truly can't beat the price for the amount of food you receive. The portions are generous, making it a super affordable option with great value. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The General Tso's Chicken was delicious, flavorful, and not greasy. The pork fried rice was amazing and paired perfectly with our meals. We also tried the Salt & Pepper Chicken -- the pieces were large, cooked all the way through, crispy, and not over-fried. The Salt & Pepper Shrimp was another favorite -- perfectly cooked, lightly crispy, and not oily at all. The Curry Chicken with vegetables lunch special for only $11.99 was such a great deal with a good-sized portion. Fresh food, great prices, generous servings, and delicious flavors -- we will definitely be going back for more! Also the service was great and clean. G

At first, she said the order only could be done on 1 bill. And then later she compromised with 2 bills, 5 people per table. That was nice of her! I just had 2 coffees before entering so I decided to skip ordering Thai tea. But they had a large drink menu, of fruit teas and more. My friend had the lychee tea which was very large and looked super refreshing! They also came by often to top off our waters which was nice. To eat, I ordered the $16.99~, Cashew Chicken Stir Fry with White Rice. It came with onion, green onion, carrots, zucchini, bell pepper, and cashews. The carrots were beautifully cut, but a little too crunchy for me to properly enjoy in the stir fry. Everything else was delicious! I think this could definitely be shared between 2-3 people. It was a lot for me, even after a large hike. The sauce was flavorful and not overly salty. I didn't ask for any spice level, but I think I'd choose mild or medium next time. My friends ordered-- - $12.99, Dirty Fried Chicken: This had a blitz coating of lime, mint, and spices. And it was decorated with thinly sliced green onions with a side of sweet chili sauce. The chicken was hot and plump, not dry, and very much mouthwatering! Would recommend. - $14.99, Thai Grilled Chicken Salad: Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of mixed green salad, carrots, and cucumbers with peanut dressing. It reminded me a little of chicken satay~ it smelled and looked incredible. I think I might order it next time, when I want something light and fulfilling after a hike. - $11.99, Cream Cheese Avocado Wontons (6PC): These came out piping hot and when you took a bite they were oozing. It was very creamy and when you dip into the plum sauce it's a delectable bite. A nice appetizer to share with the table. - $16.99-$19.99 (depends on what protein you get), Pad Thai: This proportion was manageable for one person. The restaurant used thin rice noodles, but it didn't clump excessively compared to other restaurants. The prices are what you'd typically see at a Pan-Asian restaurant, a few dollars more than what you'd want to spend. But these kinds of restaurants, in my opinion, are for enjoying with others. So, if you're sharing food and all that-- the price is worth it (esp with the quantity that is given). Next time, I would probably order one of their noodle dishes rather than rice. Oodles by the Noodbar has such a large and diverse menu so I would highly recommend coming in to try them out.

The restaurant's interior is clean and aesthetic, but very lively and popular. I ordered the mi goreng, which was extremely good and the spice levels don't play. It was our first time trying this restaurant and unfortunately, I will not return. We ordered a good amount of food. Yellow curry, pad see ew, pad Thai, dumplings and gyoza. I took the first bite of pad see ew and was immediately turned off. It did not look freshly made. The broccoli color was dull and all were mushy. The dish had a very sour taste. Unsure if reheated or just sitting for awhile. The noodles were mushy as well. The pad Thai had a similar taste so both were thrown out. Money wasted. I did enjoy the gyoza and dumplings. Both became my dinner and kids had Mac and cheese. My husband enjoyed the curry. I haven't seen the restaurant before outside of driving by otw to the gym. It's why we chose to order. Although some of the food was edible, I will not go back.

When I came in to pick everything up, the ladies behind the counter were genuinely enthusiastic, not in a performative way, but in the way that people are when they're truly proud of what they're serving. They guaranteed I'd love it, and they delivered on that promise completely. It's rare to walk into a place and feel that kind of energy -- a team that's happy to be there and happy to feed you.
