I ordered using their online system, which is already a huge plus for me! Also, because I spent more than $40, they included a free order of veggie egg rolls. I purchased the fresh spring rolls, papaya salad, panang curry, and drunken fried rice. The in-person service was also extremely friendly! Every item had really great flavor and was an appropriate portion for the prices. The papaya salad was the best surprise and had full sized shrimp (as opposed to the little dried ones I usually expect). My one complaint would be that I ordered the curry and rice at higher spice levels (5 and 7, respectively) and got exactly zero spice. I ordered DoorDash and OH MY GOODNESS was I so glad we did got drunken noodles spice level 5, pad sew, and mango sticky rice. It was delicious. It came piping hot and both noodles were rich and delicious. The mango sticky rice was hard still good but texture was off not sure if it was because it wasn't fresh. Great place for Thai in Lemon Grove! We saw this place on Uber eats for our quest for our favorite Thai spot and it's certainly made our list of go-tos. We opted for the Panang curry and the Pad See Ew and both were very good. The panang was packed with veggies and chicken and the perfect flavored sauce. The pad seemed ew was perfectly drenched I without being greasy. Great portions on both with lots of protein and veggies to counterbalance the noodles and rice. We will definitely be adding this place to our roster! Well priced, too. We did pickup and it was super quick. Friendly staff and lots of parking. My husband's and my favorite Thai spot in San Diego! To clarify, I'm really just reviewing the food - we always order food to go rather than dine in. Like many little Thai places in this price range, this restaurant's ambiance isn't really anything special. And Lemon Grove doesn't have a lot of charm... so there isn't any curb appeal, scenery, or atmosphere in this shopping center / parking lot anyway. BUT, the food speaks for itself, so I don't see the need to take stars off for ambiance. I always get yellow curry with chicken and some kind of veggie dish. Lately, I've been having the eggplant stirfry with tofu. They are both absolutely delicious - very flavorful, good portion sizes, and well-balanced. The baby Thai eggplant is particularly good. My husband is in love with their red curry. The food is always ready quickly, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly and efficient. A couple of tips: the spice level does vary depending on who is cooking and the scale used by the person taking the order. My husband loves spice, but usually a level 2 or 3 (out of 10) is about right - typically, the cook is very generous with spice! I opt for a level 1 or 2. When the employee taking the order asks if we want mild, medium, etc. I opt for mild and my husband gets medium. This last time we ordered, his level 3 spice wasn't quite so hot. So I'd suggest being cautious, but checking with the server to see whether the cook that day is one of the "spicy ones," lol. Lastly, we have a really hard time reaching them by phone later in the night on the weekends, but when we drive down to the restaurant they're always open during their official hours. So, knowing they're reliable, we drive over, order in person, and the food usually only takes about 10 minutes. read more

Great customer service! The lady at the front was extremely friendly and welcoming. She even let me know that one of my crab/cream cheese wonton pieces broke so they put an extra one in the box for me. This place serves unique dishes from other Thai restaurants, such as mango or pineapple curry! I also got iced thai tea + shrimp pad thai (spice level 1 b/c I'm a weenie). I've been going here for over a year now, and normally the food is well-made and reliable. However, this last trip will probably be my last. Another review posted on 2/15/23 mentioned the same exact issue I just had, so it's definitely not an isolated case. I ordered the Fried Rice with a medium spice level (5/10). I've ordered things at this level several other times, and I've been completely fine. Tonight, I could literally see the chili laced throughout the rice. I couldn't even get through two bites without my lips and stomach turning ablaze. They either changed their recipe or hired different cooks, because this was definitely beyond a medium spice. I tested some habanero hot sauce I had at home to compare, and it was nowhere near the fried rice's spice. I can't recommend this place anymore. I ordered Pa See Ew with chicken. This should've been an easy enter to make since it's widely popular. But it was gross! There was some kind of unidentifiable meat that was definitely not chicken. Hot Diggity! This Thai eatery makes some great eats! For dinner, I had the drunken noodles with chicken at a wimpy heat level of 4. I use to be able to handle the heat, but these days I have to back off the hot stuff. The noodles were $9 and some change. Both the flat wide noodles and chicken were great. The offered great flavor from the seasoning and sauce and the had a good chew. The chicken was tender and flavorful as well. The intermix of red & green peppers and white onions were great. I loved that they were not over cooked and still had a great crunch. The drunken noodles came with a little bit of egg mixed in and I added a little bit of chili powder that added good flavor and a touch of heat. Great noodle dish. I had the opportunity to try a couple of ground chicken egg rolls and they were terrific.
