After a full day of traveling around seeing some of the sites, we are kind of on the fence what we want to do about dinner and Asian food is always easily agreed-upon and upon our searches on yelp, we found Lin's cuisine in Uniontown. Located in what sort of look like a depressed shopping center was actually hopping with activity on this Friday evening. We will please to see how many people were sitting at tables and seeing the plates coming out of the kitchen, beautiful presentations steaming full of colors . We started off with safe appetizers and drop wonton mixed soup and an order of the Shumai. These are usually really good barometer dishes for us to tell if we should then move onto either sushi or main dishes or to get up and leave and on this evening we opted to stay for the next round. I had the Key West roll and I have to tell you it was it packs flavor. It was so good and if you like spice and a kick, this is the role for you. We then ordered the green curry with chicken and were blown away by the volume of vegetables how tender the chicken was the incredible flavor of the coconut milk broth. my only reason for not giving a solid five was I felt the restaurant was a little dirty. I understand after the fact that there had been some health grade issues. I'm hoping that they've been resolved, but that sort of sticks with me and bad on me for not noticing that ahead of time , but putting that aside our silverware was all clean. Table was clean. Food was all fresh and that says a lot about a place. read more

Well, folks, I entered hungry, and I left hungry. I ordered the lunch portion, green curry with chicken, a soft shell crab, tempura, and a cucumber roll. I will have to say that the service was very quick. So that was certainly worth one star. Unfortunately coughed the number of times I've covered his mouth and I don't know if he washed his hands or not so that detract from the Service. The ambience is a little on the dark side, but it's relaxing and a good place to have a business lunch in my opinion. So that's a star. However, the boo was uncomfortable and my back felt a little jacked up afterwards so that distracts. The food itself didn't take that long to come out. The cucumber roll was on point but literally, it's just cucumber, seaweed and rice. So that was good. The soft shell tempera was disappointing to say the least. It was mostly batter and completely unflavored for soft shelled crab. I don't even know if it was an actual crab in there or not it came out looking like one of those tiger tail donuts. Not something I would order again. Finally the green curry. I consider myself a person who enjoys Thai food and has an appreciation for the culture. This curry had no flavor and no heat. It was chalk full of thin slivers of green pepper and onion. Lots and lots and lots of onion. More onion than anything else actually. It was supposed to have broccoli and asparagus and other items in it which it did not. The rice was mid. The chicken was in little tiny chewy strips. The worst part about all of this was my meal came to $27. I was shocked at the price tag. Apparently a cup of microwaved water with a teabag in it is worth $2.75. I will not be back. read more

Linn's is fabulous . we eat there frequently I love it . We get take out or dine in . Either way it is fantastic ! The quality of the food is undeniable. The service is impeccable. Probably the best Asian restaurant option in the Uniontown area. Service is always quick whether you eat in or take out. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Their sushi is solid. I've never had a bad experience with Lin's. I've dined in & order takeout. My order is always accurate and even when I order 5 sides of yumyum sauce they always make sure to include them all! It's so delicious! The vegetables they serve with the hibachi dinners are so fresh and well cooked. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I had my doubts looking at the reviews and thinking about the location. But I am happy to say they live up to the good reviews. The decoration is minimal, the space is small, but they do what they do well. The place is VERY easy to get to if you are passing thru between Morgantown and Pittsburgh. And the service fast. I had the bento lunch with salmon, and an eel roll. It was all tasty and well made. The rolls are bit small I'd say, but the prices are good and everything tasted fresh. Not sure what other's ordered or maybe a "bad" day for Lin's but my order was not good! Chicken Lettuce wrap was dark brown/black crumbly and like gravel! Inedible for my wife and I... The Miso soup was good and hot. The Dragon and Phoenix was OK but the prices for everything were inflated almost twice what is posted on the web! My credit card receipt shows one total but what I was charged was much higher. I was not pleased with my order which came to $70.00 and we could only eat part of it. read more

I love their sweet potato sushi and their sesame tofu dinner which comes loaded with fresh broccoli. I have also had one of their tempura meals, chicken I think, and I thought it was very tasty. My wife had their lobster, scallops, and shrimp special dinner and although she liked it she said it had way too many onions and not enough other vegetables. Out in the middle of not a lot of selections, this place serves up tasty and nicely presented sushi and Chinese food. We had a an assortment of sushi rolls and plate of broccoli with tofu. The rolls were freshly made and looked and tasted good. The broccoli and tofu was rich with a slightly spicy brown sauce. Serve was attentive, despite there only being one server. Be careful. While the food may be good, not all ingredients are listed on the menu. There is crabmeat in the cheese wontons but it is not listed on the online menu. My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way through town looking for some good sushi. I read the reviews and thought we would give it a shot. We were so disappointed. The restaurant smelled unclean, sushi menu was very small and the selection was poor. Our miso soup was good- but honestly, that's hard to screw up. We ordered a soba stir fry which was good. But the 4 sushi rolls we got were poor, at best. Several pieces of fish were chewy and couldn't be eaten. There was no sauce on any of the rolls, even though these were "special" rolls at almost $13 apiece. read more

This is by far the best sushi restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food always comes out extremely fast, the staff are always friendly, and the prices are at rock bottom. I have been to at-least 10 other Asian style restaurants and I can personally say that the cheese wontons from Lin's will never be beat. read more

Really liked this place. 5 stars for courteous/no nonsense service, fresh tasting food and really well executed on the pan Asian aspect. We ordered a couple of veggie rolls - and ten stars for having more than 2 veggie roll options - a tofu skin and a peanut avocado roll. Both very fresh and tasty inhaled in minutes. Then we got the lunch entrees - tofu in garlic sauce with veggies and a drunken noodle. So Chinese and a Thai dish. Both were very tasty - veggies were crispy and fresh. Shrimp in the noodle dish was also fresh and tasty not the rubbery shrimp you tend to get in some places. Overall good experience.
