Went to Lin's Hawaiian Snacks one day when we were in town and looking for a place that had icee floats and crackseed. There's a paid parking lot right next to the building. Kind of junk that you have to pay for parking especially because crackseed nowadays is also not cheap anymore so it's almost like a treat to be able to have it every so often. When we got there, there was quite a few people in there especially for a week day. We looked around, picked up some snacks, and saw cute little bags of snacks that you could buy for favors. And then checked out and also ordered our icee floats. You can get any flavor ice cream in your float. And you can also add lihing powder to it which is what my boyfriend did. Soft Taegu (Mild Spicy)- my favorite dried codfish, which is difficult to find in Korean supermarkets in California. Li Hing Mui Chewy Candy- it was like eating rock-hard Starbursts, but it will turn into a laffy taffy. Prefer to stick to the traditional Li Hing Mui mangoes. Okinawan Sweet Potato Crisps- same texture as shrimp chips, would purchase again. Guava Slices- it wasn't too sweet, still good Norimaki Arare- addicting rice crackers in shoyu flavor, wrapped in nori Premix Arare- highly addictive for me. My husband and I stopped by this little Candy/Treat shop a couple of days ago after work. We had always wanted to stop before and we finally did!! The different varieties of candy and Hawaiian treats were amazing. We ordered two icees with vanilla ice cream at the bottom of the cup and it was a great treat to have on a hot day. What a cool place to check out! Was recommended to drop in by a family member and was so happy we went. Huge selection of unique Hawaiian snacks and toppings, every variety you could imagine. I ended up with Li Hing Gummy bears and a large bag of shredded lemon peel to mix together. Was super happy I did since my little mix was so tasty. If you have questions about all the stuff they have when you first walk in, there is a huge sample shelf where you can buy just a bit of what they have in the store. The service. Popped into LIN's Hawaiian Snacks on a Saturday during the afternoon and it was a lil busy with customers buying snacks, shave ice etc. I've been too Lin's Hawaiian snacks for a bit now and also when they do pop up's at the Aloha swap meet at Aloha stadium before (I'm not sure if they still do pop ups at the swap meet might have to follow up with the business) Parking - parking could be challenging but I believe they do have a small private lot next to the building their in. What I normally get here is their Li-Hing Mango snacks so yummy and it's Soft which is good when the mango is soft and not hard and chewy. I came here in the search for rock candy which is surprisingly hard to find. The store is filled with tons of different snacks such as sweets to savory to local favorites. When I first entered the store, I smiled at the workers while they just looked at me and went back to their conversation...which was a little awkward. I thought they would be a little more friendly but that was okay because I was in awe of the vast selection of snacks. They also have crack seed options which looked so delicious! Their products are a little pricey but I don't mind if it's to support a local business. The sweet potato snacks were so hard and tires your jaw as you keep chewing. Wouldn't recommend that. I really like how they have the smaller sample sized bags so that you can try them without the full commitment to getting a bigger bag. We got three small bags of the lihing sour mix, a large bag of the lihing sour mix slices, a few sampler sized bags and a bag of lychee sour belts. Overall, we loved everything we got except for the lihing sour mix. It's really unfortunate that we got four bags. When we got home and tried it, they did not taste great. When we ate it, it tasted like soap.... It was a waste of money. Even the watermelon slices in the mix did not taste like watermelon. I don't think I've ever had watermelon candy that tasted bad before until now. I'd definitely recommend getting their other stuff but avoid the li hing sour mix read more

Found out about this place through Reddit! Somebody had posted a photo of their mini bags wall of gummies and I bookmarked them so hard. Lin's offers a huge selection of Hawaiian and Asian snacks. You can get your crack seeds like li hing mui, lemon strips, honey lemon ginger, mango seeds and much much more. They have a big variety of gummy candies, such as, lemon peel gummy bears, lychee, peach rings, and pineapple sour belts. Gummies are available in a big pack or you can get the minis. The minis are expensive but they're the perfect size for souvenirs if you have a lot of people on your list. OR if you like sampling a lot of things, then the mini bags are the way to go. Buy 10 and get one free. Get cho mochi crunch on, your wasabi peanuts, dice papayas and so on. If you're feelin' the sea, you can get ahi jerky, cuttlefish, smoked tako, dried shrimps and more. You'll go nuts here, and they have a lot of nuts to choose from, too. Legit snack heaven. After adding sweets and treats to your basket, you can cool off with their shave ice, coffee or shakes. It is indeed your one stop snack shop. Unfortunately, I didn't get any shave ice because I was already full from lunch but they look good and reasonably priced. They have photos of their drinks and ice posted near the counter. Everything in the store is pretty organized and categorized. There's indoor and outdoor seating for you to enjoy your goodies. Parking lot is on the side but a fee is required. If you're quick as a cat getting in and out of the store they you shouldn't have a problem not paying lol. My mom waited in the car and kept look out whilst I made my rounds inside. Overall, great snack shop. You'll be a bit overwhelmed with the amount of things they offer. This review is primarily about shipping and mainland orders. (And a swap meet note) The girls in the store are always nice and we shopped there for a few years when we lived on the island. Since moving to the mainland, customer service has been appalling!! Five out of six orders were wrong or missing items and they don't even bother to respond or better yet, this last time, they basically said to pound sand. Been a customer since they were in Ala Moana Center back in the day and finally leaving a Yelp review. They have an awesome variety of snacks like seeds, cuttlefish, candy, crackers, cookies and shave ice. They still sell seeds from the jars like the old days but also have the same seeds prepackaged in different sizes. I'm happy to report that they have a variety of my favorite Ume seeds which are pretty hard to find anywhere. I always like to get their wonderful shave ice too. They have a large variety of shave ice syrup flavors and add ons like flavored mochi balls and azuki beans. Yummy! Service is always great and the workers are very friendly. The place is always super clean. Workers are always restocking shelves when it's not too busy. There is some seating inside and outside to enjoy your snacks. There's also a water pitcher & disposable cups hidden out of view in the back near the indoor seating area. We usually get lunch nearby in Ward Village and then walk here to get dessert and snacks and then head for the movie theaters (sneak in cheap snacks- hehe!) If the 2 free stalls in the adjacent lot are not available and you don't want to pay, then park for free at the TJ Max, Whole Foods or Consolidated Theater parking garages across the street. read more

The prices here are a little higher because it's more of a convenience store or something but I appreciate the wall of sample bags because I like tasting things but would rather not have to commit to an entire bag of something. It's $1.25 for something like 5-10 pieces of candy, maybe half an ounce to an ounce (can't remember), and a deal of buy 10 bags + get 1 free.
