I'm used to always having hefty metal credit cards, so when I switched to a plastic one, I missed the weight and feel of a metal credit card. I found out about Lion Card and after a TON of research, decided to have them convert my flimsy plastic card into a metal one. I will tell you right now, their customer service is EXCELLENT! They were super responsive to any and all questions I had, and kept me up to date every step of the way. Now how was the quality of the card? Absolutely amazing. The card weighs 28g which is about 10g heavier than my Citi Prestige, which is already a beast. The detail and craftsmanship on the lion card is also top notch. Honestly, the only downside is that now I'm pretty much going to HAVE to have them convert any future credit cards for me, because this thing will spoil me. If you're reading these reviews to see if you should send your card to them and have the conversion done, my answer is a resounding YES. I must admit, when I first went into this, I was a bit nervous. Obviously, one has to put a certain amount of trust in a retailer when it comes to sensitive information, and this is difficult when (like myself) you are located nowhere near the merchant and are instead, ordering online. However, I ended up making the leap and am extremely happy I did so! I had wanted to get my credit card metalized (is that a word? It is now!) for a long while now. Both for the usual vanity reasons: it's super-cool aesthetic, the heaviness of it, the illusion of wealth, etc, as well as for practical reasons: I have gone through a number of customized plastic credit cards due to rough swipers scratching them up along with normal wear. I found Lion Credit Card via Google, thought the price was quite fair and love the design choices, and thus, I proceeded to do my research on the company. Thankfully they had several reviews in various places such as yelp, google, as well as a profile and reviews at the Better Business Bureau, and so I was able to ease my initial anxiety about sending my credit card to them. After ordering, I was emailed a pre-paid shipping label, I dropped my plastic card in an envelope, attached the label and dropped it in the mail. It was a priority label and took two business days there and two business days back. They emailed me over a picture of my finished credit card the day they sent it out, along with a tracking number, which I thought was a nice touch. It seems they are aware of the anxiety their online customers must feel and do what they can to ease that. Very wise in my opinion. Design wise, it was exactly as I had picked with one small surprise: My card did not have a chip, but they added a non-functional one to it for aesthetics. This admittedly *did* make it look better, so I was pleased with this, but it is something to keep in mind as you order, so you can leave them a note if this is not something you want. They were quick to reply to my emailed questions regarding the functionality of this chip as well. When the card arrived I was quite excited to check it out. The packaging on it looked like something you might expect from Apple. A handsome long black box (like you'd see a bracelet come in) and it even had a black ribbon bow on it! Inside was the credit card, a business card and a branded poker chip. All very elegant touches to give the whole thing the exact kind of feel that anyone buying this type of service will appreciate. The card itself, (as has been said in other reviews) is nice and heavy. I would say it is roughly thrice the weight of a plastic credit card. However, I may update this review later with the exact weight for my fellow nerds out there! I opted for the matte black option, borrowing from the elegant sounding "JP Morgan Reserve Black Card" for its branding. It came with a nice platinum version of the MasterCard logo (another pleasant surprise) which matched perfectly with the text and border accents. I have used this card several times in the various locations that I generally used my plastic credit cards (the rough swipers as well) and it not a scratch thus far! I have a feeling this card is going to last for the long haul and I can safely say that I will be going back to Lion each time my card expires! read more

I first heard of lion credit card through a youtube channel. I thought this was a great idea and always wanted to buy one. Took me a year to pull the trigger but I did. After sending my card out to them it took about a week to get an unfortunate email that my card's emv chip transfer had a mishap and i had to order a replacement card and have it shipped out to them. Not to worry if you order from them it seems to be a 1% chance of this happening I guess I was just unlucky. After waiting another week they got the card and over night shipped the card the next day. I got the card the day after they finished making it. Shipping and customer service is 100%. So you must be wondering why I didn't give them 5 star review, putting aside the inconvenience the product i received didn't seem the 100% amazing quality i expected. The 4 star review is because of a chip in the paint on the back of the card and around the edges of the card seem scratched or not well cut. So other than that maybe it was just the card i ordered or got really unlucky. Update: I was contacted by their customer support for my review and they were extremely helpful. I have only used the words "beyond speechless" twice in my life to describe the level of service I have received from a business. Lion Credit Card is the third company to receive that level of praise. I suggest you read my entire review to get a good idea of how they operate. However, for those in a rush lets just say that this company will treat you like royalty so do not hesitate to use their service. I was going to write a detailed section regarding why you should not worry about credit card fraud. I'm extremely well versed with credit card laws and the way credit card issuers operate. All credit card issuers are very aggressive in stopping illegal charges and ensuring that your not a victim of fraud. But after dealing with this company I realized that I don't have to give assurances to anyone. This is because Lion Card's is extremely ethical and you should have no worries regarding the security of your credit card. After reading how well they treated me, you will understand exactly what I mean. I ordered their most expensive service (fully customized card in color). They sent me a detailed email regarding how they will proceed. They were very quick throughout the whole process despite me telling them that I was in no rush to receive my card. Although, my card had a simple design, it was a very technical design. So it would require considerable skill on their part to pull off. I was extremely impressed with how quickly the designer was able to take this hard to implement idea and finalize it. All errors and mistakes were resolved in an efficient manner. When the design was almost finalized the designer sent me high res pictures of a "mock up card' he had made to show me how the final version will look. I was very pleased by this because they didn't have to take this extra step. But what happened next exemplifies why Lion Cards has all 5 star reviews. The only reason I selected the color option was because I wanted some words in black text. The designer sent me an email shortly after sending the picture of the "mock up card." In the email he explained to me that he believes my card looks far more attractive without the black text and encouraged me to leave the black off. On top of that he sent me a video and more pictures showing me the difference between the card with and without the black text. I could not believe it! Here is a company putting in a ton of effort to make me do something that would end up with them losing money! As a man involved in business I understood the full ramification of what they were doing. By me not getting the black color they are losing $75. Which is over 31% of the total sale!! They had absolutely no reason to do this. I would never have realized how much better the card would look without black. Yet, they care so much about their customer that they decided to lose money just to make a better product for me. That's customer service folks. Last, the designer sent me a picture of the final product before it mailed out. Another nice touch. As I said earlier regarding credit card fraud; you have nothing to worry about. With this level of honesty, you can be assured that Lion Cards is legitimate. This company is one of the few that left me awed by their professionalism. I ordered my card and the process was smooth. They were professional and sent me a picture when all was said and done. The card arrived and they sent me someone elses card. I was given the insurance for free, and sent the other person's card back and my card was sent to me from the other customer. Although it added 10 days to my wait and they gave me something for the trouble, the more concerning part is that they would make such a mistake with people's cards. I'm not super worried since the person lived in another country and would get a fraud alert, but it was an alarming experience.
