Unlike Warija, he does return my calls and says he'll be over and I wait but he never shows. He requested half for a deposit and now won't return it so now I'll have to take him to court. Simon, the heir of Lion Iron Works Inc., has been good to our community. I'm the Board President of my condominium and our community has decided to have a gated door installed in the front and back entrance to our garage. Simon showed me pictures of his work on Facebook and Yelp, and we brainstormed on a design that would be the most appropriate for the theme of our condominium. Ultimately, I decided on a simple design, agreed on a price much lower than the proposals I received from other contractors, and scheduled a date/time. His schedule was already booked for a month at that time so he kept in touch with me with updates throughout the wait so I didn't feel out of the loop. And I was ok with waiting since booked schedules meant his business is in demand and thriving. They use All American Metal. Other iron works companies cuts corners by using metals that are made in China. What I was most impressed was the day of installation. I can have an extreme type A personality and if the work is not done exactly how I envisioned it to be, I will verbalize my concern until I get what I want. It's beneficial for me and my community, but it can be very stressful for the other team. Even then, Simon and his team satisfied my ego trip. I wanted the gate to be flushed to a pillar/wall, a certain height/depth, and color. I wanted the door to be a specific size, open at a certain angle, and the door knob to have the same lock as the main front gate. Simon and his team did them all without any signs of pushback. I made some outrageous demands but he kept his cool and both parties were satisfied. He will be working on a gate for my front patio next. read more

When we bought the door he said its under "lifetime warranty" and that he would make any repairs or adjustments necessary after installation. We had a couple heavy duty iron gates installed a little over a year ago at our condo to prevent break ins on our previously wood / glass doors. They made them custom & they appeared very nice. A little over a year later one of the doors is hesitating & not closing properly (stayed open overnight once) completed compromising the security of the building. They did a in door house railing and two balcony railings. Both look are very nice. They had to readjust one of the balconies and they quickly came out and fixed it. The paint looks super nice with accent gold touches. read more
