I took a pile of remnants to the register, and she tried to charge me $2.49 a pound. When I showed her the pricing area, she claimed the sign was only for steel , even though the sign only said 'Artisan's Corner' and didn't specify a metal type. When I pointed out that everything was mixed together, she told me it was my problem and rudely snapped at me to go to a different cashier. While I was patiently waiting for another employee, she actually ran to the back to warn him, saying, 'Watch out for this guy; he's trying to get everything for $0.61.' She treated me like a shoplifter rather than a paying customer. Thankfully, the second cashier saw the issue, fixed the pricing, and explained the situation. He gave me a fair deal and explained that other customers often mix the piles together, even though the only other signs were for stainless steel ($1.94), lead, and brass--nothing specifically for the aluminum in that pile.
