the food was great i did wait a little longer than normal but that was ok it gave us a little bit more time with my family. The lady that helped us seemed a little tense when she was told to come out to inform us of the wait even though we were watching the whole time. my family and i think its so neat that you can watch your food be completely made from start to finish in front of your eyes. I got up to the window and told the man at the window that I would have to split payment he said okay, took my cards and then came out a minute later saying it was declined. I said okay and asked him if he could pull off of the other card first. And he said "I can't split payments" in a horrifically rude tone. I typically visit this location several times a month with my family but after today, I will NEVER return to this location, not only wasn't the store clean or organized as it normally be but the distasteful quarrel disagreement the staff displayed was a disgrace. I lost my appetite and felt totally unsafe in a hostile environment created only by the staff. My husband and I not only witnessed chaos, confusion and poor management but utterly very disrespectful employees who blurted profanity and screamed at each other. This was the worst experiences in my life. This behavior seems way to normal because not one single employee in the establishment tried to de-escalate the situation but join in. The inside doesn't match the outside surrounding area. I work in the inner city of St. Louis going to customers homes doing service calls. When I stepped into this restaurant, I thought I was in the inner city fast food restaurants. The dining room floors, tables and restrooms were dirty. It's obvious they "clean" at closing time (hopefully). The roast beef tasted bland with seasoning dumped on it and it was "cool temperature". The fries were stale and room temperature. There was no pickles, peppers or onions put out. Shame on the owner and general manager for allowing this restaurant to operate in this manner. Very surprising because of the "area" it's in! DEFINITELY WON'T BE GOING HERE AGAIN AND DETER PEOPLE AWAY. Wow! What a disappointment! I am at lions choice on Manchester. I have been waiting in this line for 30 minutes. When I got to the speaker, the employee behind the speaker was playing games acting like he didn't understand what I was saying. When he finally understood what I was saying he goes on to tell me that we don't have those anymore. There are eight cars in this drive-through. And we are sitting here just waiting waiting waiting. The employees are rude. Still sitting in line. This is totally ridiculous. I've been sitting in this line for 40 minutes. I will stay on this review until I get out of this line. The employees do not have any regards for these customers out here. You can hear them on the speaker, playing joking around and laughing. There is no way this drive-through line should be sitting this long. This gentleman on the shift said that they did not carry the butchers block Cobb salad any longer. I wonder if that's true. Well, I recently found out that that's not true. They do still serve Cobb salad. Wow what a shame this current evening shift at lions choice on Manchester should be replaced. I used to eat here pretty frequently, as I used to work a couple buildings over. They're a great place to grab a quick bite on a break. They're fast, and the food is tasty. They introduced some salad options before I changed jobs, and I must say I really enjoyed their salads. I never come to this restaurant but I was out with my niece & nephew, and they asked to go here for lunch. The service here is exceptional! The cashier took great interest in the customers & he had such joy. We got our drinks & the counter was pretty sticky, so obviously not ideal. We sat down & were just taking our time. The girl working behind the counter called our order shortly after. She apologized greatly for us having to wait but it didn't seem long at all. Yes, I know this is the dreaded fast food. But seriously, it's nothing like the processed meat products you get at other roast beef chains, or even from the deli case at the grocery store. This is your grandma's roast beef, cooked rare and sliced so super thin you can see through it if you held it up. They scoop up a handful of the heavenly stuff and plop it on a buttered bun and then covered it all with seasoned salt. I like it with BBQ sauce, but I know lots of people who opt for the horsy sauce or au jus. And where else do you have a restaurant where almost everyone orders just one sandwich...that is just meat on a bun. Yes, it's that good. The fries are good too. I like them with the seasoned salt or a side of cheese sauce if I'm feeling thin that day. And the ice cream concretes (think DQ blizzard if you aren't a STL native) are a wonderful treat. Add a drive thru or plenty of seating inside, and you've got a winner. read more

Holy moly, we had the worst food we have ever had at a normally very consistent high quality location. Roast beef was an extra well done salty ground up mess (think potted meat) and old cold fries. To make matters worse we had to wait in line for 5 minutes and another two at the window so you would think the good would be fresh...wrong. Ok I'm impressed. I was expecting mediocre fast food chain grease but not so at LC. Maybe it was because I tried WhiteCastle last week and it made my tummy cry. The roast beef sandwich had decent flavor and the horseradish and honey mustard dips came in little containers making it feel like it was freshly made. I was expecting those little packets you normally get which is a sign it was made a few states over and months ago. Well done LC, I think I shall be returning shortly. I visited the new Rock Hill location . Waited 15 minutes for the cars in front to move through the drive thru. 2pm wed afternoon . Place was dead . When the cars finally moved I just kept on going . Did not even bother getting or paying for the food . Need new Employees . Sucked !!!! read more
