Excellent Culver's . Quick service and good food . The ice cream is excellent so if you just want an ice cream go in and grab and enjoy it.

Been here twice. Both times the staff was fighting about what task is whose responsibility. The staff doesn't give a shyt and it shows in the service and the food they make. Where I'm from Culver's is packed and has great food, this one specifically sucks. Go find a steak and shake or a Freddy's. read more

Had dinner with my family on Sunday and it was busy but they were fully staffed, moving quickly, and everyone was friendly. My wife and I arrived at 1245 on a very busy Monday. At the moment I ordered, however, no one else was in line to order. The young man that took my special order messed it up but the manager fixed it without the up charge that we should have paid. Two thumbs up We live on the Illinois side but come here once every month or two because of appointments in the area. The food was great...hot and delicious as we expected. Back again another month later. Busy lunchtime but fast service and great food. They have a military and first responders discount. The restaurant was clean in spite of being very busy. I love walleye so was really excited to try Culver's during Lent. Over all I was not impressed. The pros? Creamy coleslaw was wonderful & the broccoli side was done aldente & good size portion. Now the cons; generous size tartar sauce but it has zero flavor even tho it has a ton of great ingredients listed. The roll was stale. The major disappointment was the walleye. While the portion size was generous; the breading was soggy & when blotted with a napkin, it was greasy as can be. It appears the oil just wasn't hot enuf so the breading just absorbed the grease which then made the fish mushy. I was expecting better for almost $18. Everything but the water we ordered was wrong. When they handed us our food, they had given us a Wisconsin melt instead of a Mushroom and Swiss. While they're back there figuring that out, turns out the other two plain butter burgers we ordered have no cheese. I guess plain just means dry burger patties and bread. :/ We also ordered a Coke Zero, which after my boyfriend drank a decent bit we found out was just normal Coke!! He is diabetic, and it completely spiked his blood sugar to dangerous levels. Thank god we noticed before he drank the whole thing!! He has Type 1 and genuinely could've died. (Not a joke, he was in the ER a month ago) NOT OKAY. However, the lady who was running food in the front was very sweet. Just the people inside got everything wrong haha.... Bad experience. Culver's is the in-n-out of the Midwest. I don't make that comparison lightly because in-n-out is my favorite burger chain of all time. And this location is quite central due to numerous attractions in the area (e.g., Magic house). The burgers are cooked to order (and very tasty) and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. What more can I ask for? Cleanliness is spotty at times but it is likely that those times are when the place is short staffed. I love the kids meals for kids - great for my young toddler and it comes with a token to redeem a custard for now or later (for myself, lol). read more

On one of the walls in the dining room is a quote from, Craig Culver. It says, "People know quality when they taste it." I must agree with him and on my visit today, my ButterBurger tasted no different then a burger I'd get at the Golden Arches. So, today I am taking away a Star on my Yelp rating. My guest and I were both craving a ButterBurger and could not believe our disappointment. Seriously, they were no different then the ones we'd get at other fast food chains. Our onion rings didn't seem to be the same either. However, the crinkle fries and the Root Beer were still the same quality we remembered. I also, give a shout out to the staff. They were upbeat, cheerful and full of energy. I don't know if they were short staffed, but those working had some pep in their step and were getting things done at a quick pace. I'm hoping the drop in burger quality is just a pandemic thing and not the way of the future. I'll be back or I'll stop by another Culver's in the near future to see how things improve. Parking spots are plenty but watch out for busy hours if you park in and can't get out due to extended long line from the drive-thru. Very family orientated base of customers that frequent often. First and LAST time eating here. The order came out and as the worker brought it to the car, she dropped the bag. my burger was missing the cheets tots, I opened the burger to see how it looked and it was a cold piece of cheese on top. Who wants to eat a burger without melted cheese??! We then proceeded to ask them to remake our burgers as they were the same. When they brought it back out, the cheese was STILL cold and not melted and my bag was still missing the cheese tots. I don't have a Culver's close to me so I'm stopped at this one on my way home from Eureka. All the hype for the fried cod sandwich had me very excited. Well, it was a massive let down. The fish was undercooked, the breading was gooey where it met the fish and not very crispy on the outside. In addition, the bun completely fell apart. My family regularly visits and goes through the drive thru as only one or two people go out to pick up dinner. Two family members work second shift regularly so we eat dinner late often. Last night was not the first, second, or even third time that we ended up short a sandwich. Who ever is stealing them is particularly fond of the bacon deluxe butterburgers. Oh my goodness, never really visited Culver's much but I do now. At least of this location. This franchise owner schedules a gingerbread house-making day for little ones around Christmastime. It is free of charge, well supplied with candy/decorations and extremely organized. Employees (mostly young people of course) are sweetly helpful and patient to all the children around one very long table that is set up for this occasion. Last time I ordered a custard for "later" it was brought to my table about 10 minutes after my entree. I was unaware that this had changed and I was supposed to go back and pick it up myself. ImAfter waiting awhile, I went back and waited in line again, given a new number, and told to wait. I asked for it "to go." In a few minutes, I was handed a tray with a cup of custard with a spoon sticking out. I reminded the person who was helping me I had asked for it to go. Two ladies behind the counter stepped in and told me that was a "to go" order. I asked if I could have a bag and a lid on the container since I intended to take it home and had a drive. After telling me I needed to ask for that because it is not Culver's policy to provide a lid and bag item to go. Having said that, she stepped aside and, in less than a minute returned with my custard (with a lid) in a bag. She was obviously annoyed with me and her coworker chimed in to let me know that I was demanding extra service, which, in their opinion was out of line. I don't think it was unreasonable to ask that my food be covered and placed a bag. I gave a rating of 3 only because the person who took my order was nice and the meal was good. Before today, I considered a trip to this Culver's a treat. After today, I won't be back. read more

Food is great however the staff here are kinda rude. Went through the drive through with my boyfriend and we decided we didn't want a particular flavor of a pint of ice cream so we asked politely for it to be taken off. Went inside to see the other flavors while my boyfriend waited in the car. Overheard the guy who took our order talking about my boyfriend rudely and telling everyone. Really shocking to hear that as a customer if you ask me... maybe y'all should think twice before bashing your customers publicly. I went to the drive thru and i was told they did not have my favorite sweet potato fries. I was very disappointed. But i ended up ordering the cheese balls instead. Typical Culver's with excellent butter burgers, but this location's drive through is pretty slow. I'm not a frequent Culver's visitor, so I don't know how this compares with others... but we waited quite awhile for our food. Food was hot and the order was correct... so I won't complain much. It's fast food. You get hot food right... just not super fast. read more
